great ...
I have a bunch of pairs of these for my five year old who is very narrow. My older son wore these too before he outgrew the 5T size. They have a great cut for a narrow kid. They match a lot and always look neat. The adjustable waist helps too if you have a boy whose ... tend to fall down, like my son's do from time to time. They are perfect if you like to dress your son crisply for school and want a reasonably priced alternative to the grunge look. Also I love the plain front look- sometimes you have to pay more for that, over the pleated front look. The styling is very up to-date yet conservative enough to suit just about anyone. Oh, and if you love these ... but your boy outgrew the 5T size, my older son is wearing a 6 slim ... plain front khaki from old navy.

Cute little man ...
The Twill Chinos are adorable little man ... particularly in the 2T and bigger sizes where they ditch the elastic waist band and use the adjustable waist. They fit well and wear/wash well. The 3T are not much bigger (waist/butt) than the 2T, just longer. Length is shorter than some of the other 3T ... have but a GOOD transition from the 2T pant (not so much longer). I really like these on my ... have bought them in several sizes.

Old Navy Chinos for slender babies and toddlers
These chinos are very easy to care for and my daughter can't buy ... jeans that fit better than Old Navy. This cut is nice for slimmer children, so you can buy their size and they won't be too short. To save their color longer, just turn them inside out before washing. They can be dressed up or down. The adjustable waistbands are awesome. I wish that they would have had something like this when I was growing up. My mother put multiple darts in my clothes and they always ended up being too short by the time they fit my small waist.

I have bought these in every size since my little boy was in 3-6 months. He just outgrew his 3T's and is now in 4T so I just purchased what will hopefully be his summer/fall pair. They stay in great shape (now being worn by my ... boy). Khaki's are a classic and go well lots of different tops. My sons mainly wear them to "dress up" for church with a polo shirt or sweater, but usually keep them on all day afterwards and play in them as well.

These are great ... such an affordable price. They are nice qualilty and are perfect for my little boy to wear to church. The look great and feel really soft and comfy.

Perfect fit, and if not... you can adjust!
I bought these for my 18mo. son He's on the skinny side, and I always have a difficult time finding ... don't fall off! Enters ON to save the day! The adjustable waist band allows for perfect fitting! The material is soft but durable. It seems quite capable for holding up to all of those inevitable little boy tumbles. The pant style is casual, but paired with a button/collared shirt could easily work for a less casual situation (should your toddler find themselves in one, LOL).

I love these ... Another reviewer said that they were tall and slim sized and that her chunky two year old did not fit in them. That is exactly why I bought them. I have a tall and slim two year old, and most dress ... were floods on him and bunched really badly around the waist. These fit him perfectly! I will continue to buy these for him as he gets older. They are adorable, the color (chocolate brown) was great, and matches perfectly with the shirts I was hoping it would. The adjustable waistband is a must for my skinny boy, and I love these ...

These are the perfect, soft feeling but tailored enough-for dress ... active little boy. Run generously in length, have the adjustable waist to help with the fit for my skinny pickle son.

Perfect for slim and diaper free boy
My boy is potty trained so finding slip on ... don't require a puffy diaper to help keep them up on his waste can be a challenge. I hit the jackpot with these comfy sweatpants. My 2 year old son is able to pull them up and down with ease for using the potty. My guy is 35 1/2 inches tall and slim. There is enough room on the length to roll them a bit which is great because this means he can grow another inch and they'll still fit him. These ... warm for the colder days in California.

These ON fleece ... great! I've been buying them for a couple of years as my son prefers to wear comfortable, soft knit ... prior sizes have withstood a very active little boy and I expect this next size will too. Very happy with these ...

no sweat
These ... nice because they have all the comfort and ease of sweatpants, without looking sloppy. I don't care for the way kids look in sweatpants except for at sports practices and gym class. In these, my little boy looks put together with a nice polo or striped tee and they are easy to put on/take off and warm and comfy, too.

Nice ...
Very soft, sturdy ... my baby can live in everyday. I have an 8 month old boy, 50 percentile in weight, 30 in height, who fits the 12-18 month ... We do have to roll them up tho. I do like to give him some breathing room, but I'd say, order a size bigger than your baby.
