Generous Brim Bough a 24 month "large" for an almost 3 year old boy who is average size. It will last at least one to two years, as it fits well and is a little loose. The brim is nice and generous and really shades his eyes from the sun, he had previously complained of sun in his eyes in the car. His other toddler sized hats did not have a long enough brim to really be useful.
