made a hit with my son in-law
My son in-law wears one of those hard to find, in between sizes and he usually just settles for something a little too large. He really needed jeans and those are something that are a wardrobe staple so I hunted for the right size in stores (33/34) and came up empty handed. Some stores that do carry that size (of which there are few) didn't have any selection at all. Found lots of choices online at Old Navy, ordered a pair, and got a great big smile when he opened his present! He wore them almost immediately. That's what you want when you give a gift!

Big Man
I'm fairly big (46X30) and it's hard to find clothes in my size at normal retail shops. However, everything I order from Old Navy (underwear, shirts, jeans, etc) fits perfectly. I am a walking Old navy Billboard. I just wish you had bigger sizes in the stores [...]

I love these jeans!!!
I ordered these jeans for my husband because he can never find jeans in any store that fit him just right. He's tall and thin and he normally has to wear pants that are too short so that they fit his waist or too big so that they are long enough in the legs. Not anymore! These jeans fit him perfectly - and he looks so good in them. I was so tired of super baggy jeans or seeing his socks every time he sat down. This was the perfect fit!

Runs a bit big
Very nice jeans that can be casual or dressed up with a nice shirt. I thought they ran slightly big at the waist.

Good jeans, but don''t quite fit like I''d hoped
I went w/ the low rise boot cut in 34x36 from ON.com. I probably should have looked at the regular rise boot cut.... I like the length, but the butt and thigh seem a little tight when sitting. I've tried on the other styles, but am not a big fan of them. I still think I like the overall fit on these better than the other ON jeans.

like the inbetween size
I bought these for my son (6'6"). It is hard to find jeans that are not too big around the waist. Most jeans waist sizes come in even waist size (30,32,34,36) when you need a 36" inseam. My son always seems to be in the in between sizes and then they hang down and baggy around his buns - not a sight I like. These are nice jeans. I like the darker color and they fit nice, wash well and you are not paying a big bundle of cash. He says they are a little bit tight around the legs but I think they fit just right

These jeans are not worth [$] The denim material is fairly thin and doesn't feel like it will last a long time. But my biggest complaint is the length. They are advertised as a 36" length, bu when measured, they are barely 35". This is a big deal for someone who is 6'5". Normally I fit into a 36" length, but Old Navy pants seem to fall short. The same thing happened a few years ago - I had ordered 4 pairs of 36" length and they we all different lengths ranging from 34 1/4" to 35 3/4" pants. I thought that they might have corrected this disparity by now. Perhaps they need new tape measures at the factory. Otherwise, they need to start advertising these as 35" length.

Sizes inconsistent
I purchased two pair of boot cut jeans in two different colors for my 14 year old son. He already wears a big and tall ... size and I have trouble finding jeans for him that are reasonable in price and look fashionable for a teen. Since Old Navy offers this, it is why I continue to order these online. However, the problem we have is inconsistency in sizing. I ended up taking the grey pair back as they were smaller. This style looks good on him but they are a little short in the rise and he ends up with the 'refrigerator repairman' look when he sits down or bends over sometimes. It would be nice if they had a little more rise in the seat and a touch more room in the thigh. I also wouldn't recommend a much distressed fabric from Old Navy for a very active boy as the fabric tends to rip easily. Otherwise they are a pretty good value for the money, especially when on sale.

Always inconsistant with ON sizing
As always I ordered these jeans for my husband and they were too big in the waiste and tight in the thigh area. Almost everytime I order online with ON I return the items of clothing because their sizing is so inconsistant.

I bought these for my husband. I measured his waist before ordering. Upon receipt found the jeans to be too big. Overall a very nice looking pair of jeans, I just wish I had gotten at least one size smaller.

Wrong size
All my jeans are waist size 32 - Tried several size 32 of same cut (different color) on in the store and all fit. Ordered size 32 of this jean over the web and the waist was two inches too big. It was labeled size 32 but just way too big. I like Old Navy clothes, but will just buy from the retail stores now to make sure I'm getting the correct size.

Great Jeans!!
My husband is very difficult to buy jeans for. He has no butt, skinny legs, but is really tall & still a big guy. These jeans look great on him. Fit nicely through the leg without looking too loose or tight. Will definitely buy another pair for him!!

Perfect fit!
In all the years that I have been with my husband (18yrs), this is the first pair of jeans that I can honestly say fits him perfectly. He happens to be a big and tall guy, and it is difficult find jeans to fit his length. He has obviously been wearing jeans all along, but they usually fit pretty baggy, and the hem ususally sat right near the top of his shoe (over time some would start to look like floods). These Old Navy Straight fit jeans (tall length), fit him perfectly in the rise, waist, hips, thighs and length. Form fitting without being tight. They fit him so well, I immediately ordered 3 more pairs.

Long enough!
My very thin, 6'4" son, who is very hard to find jeans for, likes these a lot. Very basic, but pretty hip and ... most important ... they're long enough. Actually, since he wears a 30 waist, 36 length and 32 was the smallest waist I could get at that length, they're big in the waist. I know lots of tall, skinny teenage boys with this same problem. Perhaps Old Navy could offer smaller waist sizes in Tall?

Jeans Ran big
I loved the straight leg fit on my hubby, however the waist was really too big and in the past I've found Old Navy Jeans don't shrink in the wash in the waist area. Only length. I'm going to reorder one size down than normal. I think the quality is outstanding for such a low price.

I bought these for my son to wear to his job site. I would not want to pay the price for big label and have them tear and wear quickly so these fit the bill.

Nice Jean
I like them, but returned them, the waist was about 1.5 inches big and the upper leg was a little to tight. Over all a nice Jean. You should know that when you buy items online, it's always good to buy two of the same and see what looks best. Return's to the store are very easy.

Waist Runs Large
Other reviewers are correct when they warn you the waist runs big on these. I've bought other Old Navy jeans over the years, but like all of their products the build quality and materials just seem to get cheaper and cheaper. That might account for the waist getting bigger. The thickness/quality of the denim is very thin now. Regardless of the reason, if you're normally a 32 in most jeans, get the 31...maybe even the 30. I bought 32's the time before and was swimming in them. This time bought 31's...just got them...still too big...

Way too big in the legs. These are not for ... need a larger size in the waist, but have small hips and legs. The legs were huge!

Just okay
Bought these for my son and had to return. He has loved every other pair of Old Navy pants so I thought these would be a sure thing. The waist was about 2" too big and the distressed look was much more apparent on than on the website and not appealing to him. We'll try again.

seems too large overall
These seemed to be too big overall. I was expecting a much slimmer profile in the rear and the legg, much like the newer look that is popular now. Unfortunately they didn't work for me. Also I thought the denim was of a lighter grade, like summer jeans which is OK, but not what i wanted. If you want to try them you might think about going one waist size smaller. If they work for you the price is right.

Ridiculously big!
I'm a pretty big guy. 6'6 300+. I shop Big & Tall of course, but I hate big baggy look. I'm not sure if it's because I bought the Big size or if that's just the way these jeans are. I wouldn't recommend them.

36" at last!
We have been unable to find 36" length pants anywhere in this area. Even the Big & Tall departments didn't have this length, plus my sons are not "big", just "tall." I was thrilled to discover these pants online. These were a perfect fit, very comfortable and just what we were looking for. We ordered black and khaki.

Perfect
My husband is a tall and big man. He loves ON's khakis. We have probably ordered 20 pairs over the years, everything from pleated to unpleated in every color made. Where ON's sizing and quality "issues" remain on everything else, these pants remain tried and true. He has a few pair that he's had over 3 years now that still look like he just got them although he wears them regularly to work. GO OLD NAVY!

Another hit with hubby!
These look great on my husband. They do run big which I read in other reviews so i ordered a size smaller than he usually wears and they fit perfectly. The material is nice and not at all stiff. Great for a casual night out when jeans just won't do.

Nice ,kinda a relaxed fit
This are in no way too big arround the waist,they are however a little loose around the legs compared to the more classic fit.Plenty of room to put you wallet in the front pocket if you want do.I bought 4 other pairs of 34" waist (pants and jeans regular and loose fit) at Old Navy.com and the waist was no different than the others.

Decent Pants
I bought these for my fiancee and he is very hard to buy for as he is 6ft 5, but wears a 30 inch waist. I couldn't get them in anything but a 32 inch waist so they are a bit big but he wears a belt and they work fine. I love the look and the length is really great. The only complaint he has is that the pockets are shallow and he worries that something may fall out of his pockets at work. This is a pretty decent concern since he carries thumb drives with sensitive information on them. He just makes sure that he keeps important stuff somewhere else. They are not his favorite work pants but they fit the bill of getting him another pair to wear that are not black but are not a really light khaki.

pleated pants were a nice fit and comfortable cotton feel. I just ordered a size too large so they're a little big on me. I would order your normal size for pants.

Nice Pants
I bought these for my son and he likes them. Since he is slim, the waist was a bit big, but he refused to exchange them for a smaller size because he liked the overall fit. I already adjusted the waistline for him and he was content with them. Really comfortable material. Nice quality.

Kind of Let Down...this purchase anyways...
I have purchased these before, but this purchase, the pants were very tight. Tight in the leg, waist, and butt. Since they were tight in the waist, the leg was tight too. I did buy them on sale, so for the price of returning them after shipping back, I'm keeping them. I'll just have to loose ten pounds and they will be good. But...the other pair I have are very nice. I do recommend.
