First tankini I''ve ever loved!!
I LOVE this swimsuit top! I got it in addition to the halter bikini top for those days I don't feel like sucking it in, lol. I've never been a fan of tankinis, b/c they've always been either too short or they flare out at the bottom, but this one is close to perfect. It doesn't quite reach the top of the hipster bottoms I got, but it looks great anyway. Some complained about the cups having no support, but that's not an issue for me as I'm pretty tiny on top; the slight padding and the ruffles actually enhance a small bust. I highly recommend this top!

Great top
I had a baby 6 months ago and have been working really hard to get back into shape, but am totally not ready for a bikini. This tankini was a great solution! It hides the pooch. I paired it with the bikini bottom and it was very slenderizing. I was thinking that I was going to have to pick a one piece this year, but this tankini was much better looking on. I loved all the mix and match options - it was hard to pick. The support was decent. I am a 34 C (though normally a 32 A). I think I will actually go to the pool this summer, thanks to this modest and flattering suit. It's fun too! I thought I was going to have to wear something frumpy to hide my new post baby shape.

Darling polka dot swim top!
I waivered between needing a size S or M and ordered the Small in the end...I'm happy I did! The smaller size shows about 1/4" of skin between the bottom of the top and the top of my bikini bottoms (Im 5'7"). It also doesn't leave a lot of excess material around the waist, which has a slimming effect. The polka dots are darling. Im likely to purchase another top in another color/pattern.

WOW I AM FINALLY HAPPY WITH MYSELF IN A BATHING SUIT!!!!
Wow, is all I can say. I have been tortured over the years trying to find a bathing suit that I feel confident in. I am tall, 5'11" and about a size 16 with a 38 D bust and I am too tall to wear a one piece (I have a long torso) and not quite toned enough in my opinion to wear a full on bikini. So I ordered this top in the black with the anchor print, I love the ruffles at the bust, it is long enough that you don't have to show any of your abdomen or you can pull it up and show a little skin. This bathing suit really gives me confidence. I don't feel nervous to pull off my coverup at the pool and I have gotten so many compliments on it. I have been told how great I look in it! I couldn't be happier (and this is someone who fights with the mirror every summer during bathing suit season). The top is lined so you don't have to worry about little imperfections showing through the suit even when it is wet. It supports my 38 D bust size although my only complaint is it could have a little more "push up" to it, but hey, I am not complaining really. It washes really well, I just wash it cold and then lay flat to dry... I want to order like 10 of these suits because I finally found the perfect suit for my body!!!! I would say if you are tall or short, thin or curvy (especially the curvy girls or those not comfortable showing their entire abdomen) this is the perfect suit, it accentuates what you've got but hides the imperfections!!! So happy with this tankini top!!!

So I love this baithing suit because over the last few months i have gained some weight and I didn't want to be that lady on the beach wearing a bikini when everyone is saying to themselves "what is she thinking" so I opted for a tankini! I found this one in hopes that it would hide my smaller chest. There isn't really much support/"pushup" so my chest just did their own thing. I like how the back laid lower on my back so that it could get sun. Its on the longer side, which I love about it. It dries fast, fits well and is very comfortable! I always bring this suit with me just in case!

great top
I got this to go with the blue bikini bottoms. Not an exact color match, but goes well together. Its a flattering fit on me. I have a small bust and the ruffle helps. The padding that is in the cup is a thin removable one. I replaced it with something more substantial.

Cute but fabric didn''t match the bottoms
I bought two styles of this same pattern tankini top and matching bikini bottoms. This top's fabric did not quite match the bottoms but were a couple shades lighter. The other top matched perfectly. Fortunately I liked the other (matching) top better so returned this one. Otherwise fit is good for me (slim and small busted!) and is very cute.

Great suit!
I really love this tankini top! The ruffle flatters my small bust, and the halter style is perfect for my narrow shoulders. I found it to be true to size. For reference I'm 5'2", about 103 lbs. and I got the XS. I ordered the bikini bottoms and the boy shorts to see which looked better. I ended up choosing the bikini bottoms. However I did need a small instead of an XS in the bottoms to for better coverage of my rear end. I'm too old to show "cheek!" The boy shorts were cute too, but I didn't like the way they hit my thighs...seemed to make them look bigger. My only complaint about the overall look is that my belly is slightly exposed when I raise my hands up with the bikini bottoms. I prefer complete coverage, but I decided to keep the suit anyway.

Pretty nice
I have the polka dot and zig zag tankini in XS. The ruffles are great for the smaller chest I earned after nursing 2 kids. The liner cups are no different than most suits. There is no underwire for those who need real support. I have really broad shoulders too so it still works with my shape. Since I am 5"2, the torso length is a bit long and looked horrible with the boy shorts. Hopefully the bikini bottoms will match better.

Not for me..
This is my first summer post pregnancy, so I'm looking for something to hide my ..hmm, curves? when I'm at a public pool, or on the beach. I wanted to get a tankini that fit well, without looking like a maternity top. I'm a DD, and a size 8. The medium a) did not fit in the bust and b) clung to every little curve on my torso. If I went to the L however, it was baggy, and didn't look so hot. However! If you're in beach ready shape (like I wish I was ;) this might be perfect for you!! (but then, I'd choose to wear a bikini!) :D

The quality was good but it just looked gross on me. I am a 34A. I ended up switching to to the halter bikini top.

Totally love it!!!
When I originally ordered this I wasn't sure if this was going to work with my figure, or if XXL would be big enough (I'm anywhere from an 18-22 in tops and 24-26 in jeans) and I've had bad experiences with boyshorts in the past (super low rise) but I was wonderfully surprised by these! They are high enough waisted to cover my tummy, show of my awesome butt and still cover all the right areas!!! I will definitely be shopping Old Navy for swimwear from now on!!!

Cute and provide good coverage
Bought in a size S blue polka dot & matching bikini halter top, fit very well. Great coverage for chasing after the kids.

Swimwear
All the bottoms seem really big. Usually take a L XL [I am tall and wear 13/14 juniors, or 10 women's] but ended up with a medium. The only one I took a large in is the string bikini bottom. Seems a little low in the back tho. In fact all the bottoms could come up a bit. The tops are true to size. Really nice material, tho.

Can''t wait til I hit the pool!
Was looking for a more coverage bottom and didn't find it in the regular bikini bottom or the hipster. I wanted something to fall just below my belly button and this falls right where I want it. I got the ruffle bandeau top and it looks nice. Might look better with a halter top but it will do. Haven't worn it more than just trying it on, so have to see how well it stays put at the pool. But I'm happy with the lookI was going for. Its probably a bit shorter in the leg for those who want a fuller coverage boy short but I didn't mind the rear portion it was the stomach coverage that I wanted. I am a size 10/12 and got the medium and it fits just right.

good for the price
I am a size 12-14, curvy, big bootie and thick thighs. originally b/c of the other reviews I ordered both the boy short and bikini in XL b/c I didn't know which I'd like better. they were both too big. The bikini fit big, but didn't provide enough coverage, so I only reordered the boy short in a Large. they fit fine, but they do ride up a bit on the cheeks in the back. for the price it's a cute suit (i got the navy dot), but i would recommend ordering your "true" size.

Nice bottom, wish it was sold in stores
My daughter is 12 years old and I will not allow her to wear a skimpy swimsuit. She picked out the pink plaid halter style bikini top in the store. I was very disappointed that the only bottoms available in store are skimpy bikini bottoms. She tried on a bottom for fit only, then I ordered this pair of boyshorts online in madagascar (turquoise). She's about 5' and 92 lbs. The swimsuit top and bottom are both size XS and fit perfect. The boyshorts look super cute with the top and cover everything that needs to be covered. She says they're very comfortable and loves the look of them. As a mom I'm happy that the swimsuit is age appropriate. I wish that Old Navy sold the boyshort style in the stores. A lot of preteen and young teen girls wear junior sizes and skimpy tops and bottoms are not appropriate for that age. I gave this item four stars because it's not available in stores.

swim!
I love ON swim stuff. it is comfortable, cute, and has good coverage and material. I bought this a size smaller than usual because I find that they do stretch out a bit with wear. of course this means they are a little tight initially, but I would rather that so that they last longer and don't get too sloppy. I am 5'6" 145lbs and I bought the medium. I like the boy shorts because they hide that area...and unsightly stray hairs if I haven't shaved my bikini line. it also helps that it is a flattering print!

Too much coverage
I really love boyshort bottoms, however these didn't feel or look as great as previous. Unfortunetly, I took the tag out not thinking, so I couldn'treturn them. I ordered the bikini bottoms and hope they work a lot better! If you like coverage in the front and back, and have longer legs, I think you would like the boyshort bottoms!

not good for large thighs
if you have large upper thighs, the shorst roll up and end up looking like a regular bikini bottom.... =(

I have long thin legs for a petite person. These boy shorts really cut off my thighs. I am not curvy and with the torso of the matching top falling to my hips, it made me look thick. I will exchange them and try the bikini bottoms.

I usually wear string bikini bottoms, but decided to switch it up with these cute boy shorts. I own a lot of boy short cut underwear and think they look very flattering so why not a bathing suit! I usually wear a size 2 in pants and decided to order the size small in these bottoms. I tried them on and it was terrible. They created this muffin top effect that I don't get when wearing regular bikini bottoms and it pinched the little bit of fat i have on my inner thigh. I know if I size up to a medium it will be too big in the butt so I will be returning the smalls.
