Yes Curvy Girls! You can wear Jeggings!
I purchased the blue and the black several months ago from a local ON and I was IMMEDIATELY IN LOVE. I'm a pear shape and I am often between a size 14 and 16 in ON and Gap ... which means the waist is often too big while the hips and legs fit well. These jeggings are DIVINE because they solve that problem. They have enough stretch in them to make sure they fit my waist and my hips. I often have a large gap in the waist of my ... too. Not so with these! They fit me like a glove. I usually wear them with round toe stilettos and a fitted tank top, a sparkly clutch and accessories. This combination is always a hit. They fit the calf and thigh nicely so I'm sure ankle and knee high boots with a tunic would be fab as well. I'm back at the ON site to get the gray and I might just get back up pairs of the black and blue too! Get them ladies you'll love'em!

Love in Blue
I tried on the Saucy Red Rockstars in store a few weeks ago and loved the color! However, they were definitely short..I'm 5'7 and they came above my ankle. Now, if you like the look of women's pants in the 50's, then they're perfect, if not go ahead and order a tall.. that's what i did and they're perfect length. Unfortunately they don't carry tall in store so i ordered them online..but no more red! AAHHH..so I got the blue which are awesome. I will say that they are true to size, but when i tried on the red in store they were a little snug, more so than the blue. Note: in the item description it says 2% spandex, 21% polyester, and 77% cotton..the blue are 2% spandex and 98% cotton! So this might be the reason they fit a bit differently! I'll have to see if I can get my hands on the Saucy Red and see if they work!

Calling all Curvy Girls
I had been on a mission to find some regular premium blue ... , but I always have a hard time due to sizing. For all the curvy girls in the world this pair of ... regular blue and light blue are the businesssssssss. They fit your hips amazing and if you have a thicker thigh and just being bottom heavy and curvy these are perfect and they stretch. I have found that the red ones don?t stretch the same as the other two. The grey fits great also but the material was just too thin for me, just seem like a cheap material. I had to have them and the waist is really small and define no - gap in the back ladies. The length of the ... pretty short. they hit directly at my ankle and I?m 5"1. And to think I haven?t shop at OLD NAVY in about 6 yrs ...you have me back ...I?ve been in your store every week now thanks a bunch

Great. but not for the faint of heart
I love these ... They are VERY comfortable, but keep in mind ladies these will show EVERYTHING! I'm 5'10 and ordered them in tall and they seemed to fit pretty good. These kinds of ... aren't meant to hang over your feet. I bought these in grey, blue and black. and I agree, the black smells like sulfur. The dye even came off a little on my hands. I'll try washing them and see what happens. The blue is very dark, i had trouble telling it from the black, but I imagine that will change after i wash them a few times. The grey was just perfect though. No complaints.

the denim ones are WAY diffrerent than the black and bright colors!
I wanted to get the bright blue, and tried them on in the store, along with the dark wash denim and the black ones, i got a bunch of sizes because i wanted to compare. the bright blue ones seemed to run smaller, they are a rougher, thinner material. The denim were very soft, thicker and seemed to run true to size, yet quite short for the regular length. the black ones seemed to be the same material as the blue and red ones, thinner and not soft. I got the dark wash denim, as they are perfect for tucking into boots. very comfy and cute.

Old Navy Changed the Material, but I Still Love These
I lost weight recently and wanted to buy the Rock Star Jeggings in a smaller size. I loved the previous ones I had - they were stretchy, comfortable, and actually look like ... whereas most jeggings don't. I bought a 14 in Blue Corsica and was surprised at how much the material has changed. The jeggings are no longer soft and comfortable. The material is 98% cotton, 2% spandex and aren't stretchy like the previous ones. I still love the jeggings and the Blue Corsica color is gorgeous, but I'm disappointed that the material is a lot different than it used to be. Make sure you read the tag and try these on before you buy them. The material feels more like ... than leggings.

Great fit but weird color
The fit of these pants is absolutely fabulous! It stretches in all the right places and will conform to any body type! The only thing is the "ruby" color is an odd dark/midnight blue. It's not a hip dark blue either. The color is honestly weird and looks like it needs some fading to look right. The grey color is not flattering on curvy girls and I already have black skinny pants so that's why i didn't go with the other colors. I wish ON would come out with a normal faded blue ... version that would be much more versatile. Also, the regular length is only an inch longer than the petite..FYI.

Skinny ... Curvy Lady
Love them, the ruby blue is a very dark dark blue color that can almost pass as black. I bought the blue because they were on sale and wanted to give them a try. I was not disappointed at all. I am a woman of ethniicity with small waiste line, yet full bottom and thighs. I ordered them in a 14 long and believe it or not, i may be able to get away with a 12L. These ... love my body! the back does not gap at the waiste, the stretch is soo comfortable. Looks great in heels or flats. I will definitely be buying the black asap!

Sizing is off!!
I tried on the black pair in the store in a size 2 (my normal size) and they fit amazing! I liked them so much I grabbed a blue ... pair in the same size before checking out. I didn't try on the blue ... pair as I figured they would fit the same as the black...WRONG! I got home and the blue ... pair are too tight. The sizing is very off as I actually could have worn a size 0 in the black but had to get a 4 in the blue. Another thing is that they would be way too short on a tall person. I'm 5'2 and they are perfect length on me which is very rare. Love the ... but make sure you try on both pairs if you are buying two of the same style!

Order Up A Size
Be forewarned that the fit and material vary greatly depending on the color, and to get the length you want you may need to go up a size or two. I got a black pair of the Rock Star jeggings and loved the fit and ordered two more pair- the red and dark blue. The length on the red was the same, but not nearly as stretchy as the black so they were a little tight around the waist. The dark blue pair seemed two sizes smaller although the were suppsedly the same- much shorter and tighter. So I when I ordered the blue pair I went up a size- like the red they aren't that stretchy, but otherwise fit similar to the black pair one size down.

To Short!!!
I bought 2 pairs the blue and black, I tried the black on when they came and they fit fine, a little shorter than I expected but acceptable, I removed the tags of the blue ones and put them away thinking they would be ok....BAD IDEA! when I got the blue ones out to wear they were so tight they pinced the back of my leg behind the knee when I walked and were a few inches to short, where they are above my ankle!! I am very dissapointed, but since I took the tags off and threw them away im stuck with pants I can't wear now! Also after washing in cool water and drying on low they shrunk up even more so they fit more like tight capri's now...sigh!!! If you buy these get a longer size than you normally wear and go up a size in the blue ones unless you want skin tight ...

Best pair of ... own
I don't usually write reviews, but these ... awesome. I own a lot of Levi's 501s and started to buy their 514s to get a nice, slim fitting ... Usually, I have to buy a size up. With these ... Old Navy, however, I was able to buy my correct size -- I didn't have to buy a size up or down --and they fit me perfectly. These ... best ... have in my closet now, and I have about 10 pairs of ... Old Navy, please expand this into different colors and washes. I would love to see these in all black, with black stitching. I also wouldn't mind seeing these in a light blue stonewash color (classic denim look), as well as light gray.

Great ...
I am tall and thin and these are the perfect ... me! The waist fits great, and so does the length. It's hard finding ... my size, but not anymore! I do wish they came in a lighter blue color(dark authentic) but otherwise no complaints.

Slim...never shady.
These are my second pair of old navy slim fit (other in blue). and they are my favorites along with the Gap slouchy slim. I'm too big for skinny ... but these slims fit me just right. Dress them up, dress them down...very versatile. They don't make me look like a stuffed sausage.

THIS IS THIS THE SECOND PAIR OF SLIM ... HAVE PURCHASED. GREAT FIT IN THE FIRST PAIR IN THE BLUE, THE BLACK WAS GREAT TOO. I THE DARK GREY COLOR ... OVERALL 2 OUT OF 5. I HAVEN'T EVEN WORN THE ... ZIPPER IS SPLIT. AS I ZIP UP IT CLOSE AND THE BOTTOM OPENS UP. IF I WHERE TO EXCHANGE I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE NEW PAIR UPFRONT EVEN THOUGH I PAID WITH A GIFT CARD. THEN I WOULD GET A GIFT CARD BACK AND NOT MY MONEY. UGH. BUT OVERALL THE FIRST PAIR WAS GREAT AND SECOND PAIR SUCKS, THE ZIPPER KILLED IT.

Great basic ...
I got these for my boyfriend because he was looking to get more basic, 'kick around' type ... These fit the bill, and at a great price point! I ordered him the dark wash, and it is a very nice, deep shade of blue. They fit him great and he says they're comfortable.

Not a great color, wished they had the other two colors to pick from
The ... fit him great but I would not have gone for such a dark color but the other two colors (the middle of the two being my first choice) were sold out. This color was too bright blue. Just not his style.

The ... nice and they fit my son well, just didn't know that they were that dark of blue ... Couldn't really tell from the picture I guess.

... great except for I have washed them at least 6 times and they still turn my socks blue when I am wearing them. Too much dye rub off.

Too Short
The pants do not run true to size. I bought two pair of blue ... were supposed to be 33X34 and they both were about 2 inches short. Atleast i am ready for the next Flood!

My blue ... ruined my sneakers
Even after washing my new dark blue ... they stained my white shoes with all of the excess dye. I cant imagine how my shoes would have looked had i not washed the ... before hand. I was very upset because my shoes are classic sneakers that had suede in certain parts. I've tried several different things to get the stain completely out but still light blue marks can be seen all over the shoe. I will be writing the main office for some resolution.

Dark and Light ... very nice!
yes, they fit perfectly! That new medium wash I ended up returning because it was tight in the thigh and loose in the waist. The other two were great though. I wish they had more variety of ... chose from. there is only like one grey and mostly blue.

I was extremely impressed with the customer service....very helpful and friendly. The only problem I had was the thigh area is a little too tight. I had purchased Anchor Blue Boot Cut in the past and I thought these would have the same cut.....slightly looser in the thigh area. Please do not misinterpret my opinion though.....I really like the pants and again.....customer service was over the top professional!

My husband liked them
I get these for my husband in 46x32 he is 6'1. These are the same pants I always order but this time they were a little longer then normal and the color is a really fake looking dark blue. He said they were comfortable still.

Decent ... Dyes May Bleed
I have enjoyed three pairs of these ... price point is just right. My only advice to new buyers is to wash the ... separately or with other ... because the dyes may bleed. I purchased a pair of the dark color and the dye bled and caused a slight blue tint to the other clothes in the wash. So, wash them a few times to get any excess dye out of the material. I also wish that Old Navy would carry ... long AND thin sizes. I don't like that I have to sacrifice the needed length to fit my waist.

These pants are what I expected, except that I must comment that they have a little bit of a brownish tone to them. They do not look like a brand spanking new blue pair of pants, but I don't feel they look dirty, either. I just noticed it as unusual.

Good ...
A pair of gray adds a nice contrast to a collection of blue ... never find any 32 x 34's anywhere. I'm 150+ lbs and 6'1.5''. Although they were a bit long, you can still just roll them up or wear them well with some boots.

Got them for my husband. They are super cute. We had a hard time with sizing. We bought the grey and a dark blue wash, both the same fit, and the blue fit perfect and the grey fit really tight.

Boot cut wrong size based on colour
I ordered 4 pairs of Bootcut ... (2 black and 2 blue). The black ones are perfect fit (36 x 36). The blue ones.....not even close. They are at best a 36 X 34 and are way to short.

Not true to size and stuck with pants too short for me and too long for the average Guatemalan.
The pants were about 2 inches short. I have put them up agains other blue ... Old Navy and the Gap. I am terribly disapointed. I thought i could trust Old Navy

Love, love, love!
I have these ... both the rinse and dark blue. I actually prefer the dark blue as they are a closer to-the body fit than the rinse are -- and I prefer that in a skinny ... I'm going to tuck into boots. You cannot beat the price of the ... get yourself a few pairs!

I love these pants!
These pants are really comfortable and they hold up well. I own pairs in Black, Dark Blue, and Rinse. The black is soft, unlike black denim ... other vendors. The only issue with these ... dark blue and rinse washes fade out a little bit. These ... completely worth the money.

I was hesitant of skinny ... but WOW, these are great!
I always said I'd never be caught dead in skinny ... Well, I must have died and gone to heaven with these ... because they're perfect! I bought the "Dark Blue" and the color is great - dark enough to be dressy yet a bit of whiskering to make them look more casual. They fit like a glove too. I usually wear a 31' inseam and these fit perfectly at the ankle. They hug my every curve and FLATTER curves, unlike other skinny styles I've tried. The only complaint is the waist was a little big in the back which is common for me (having a rounder rear), but it's a simple fix by zig zag stitching some elastic under the waist band (my simple fix for many of my ... Perfection! They seem true to size in the smaller sizes (I'm a 0, 24-25" waist), and wash up nicely. Also, they do not stretch out and become baggy at the end of the day. Old Navy, you have finally perfected stretch in your denim - good work! Buy these - you'll wear them with everything from tunics to cardigans, heels to ballet flats. NOTE: The "Rinse" runs a bit larger than the "Dark Blue," but still fits similarly. You might consider ordering a size down if you like them to hug all of your curves.

I must have tried on 10 pairs of these babies in both the dark rinse and the medium blue and EVERY one fit different. I first bought one of the medium and after wearing them at home, trying on different outfits, they had stretched so much that they were falling off. I took those back and tried on several others and fiinally settled on one in the dark blue and I am really happy with it. I do wish they were a tad longer. I am 5'3" and got the regular, which is suposed to be 32". I seriously doubt that because with flip flops I don't even need to cuff them. I normally like a 32" with heels. ON really need to get their manufacturing in order!

every color fits differently
I ordered these ... both the dark blue and the authentic washes. They were completely different! I didn't care for the dark blue wash at all. They were too tight, the fabric was too thin and streachy. Generally very unflatering ... But I also ordered the authentic wash; I love them! They have a nice skimming fit, not skin- tight like so many skinny ... denim seems like good quality, not too thin, good amount of streach- comfortable without being clingy. I also love the color- a little lighter, but still definitley not a "light wash." They are not exaclty skinny fit though, epecially in the ankles. They fit somewhere in between a skinny and straight leg, which actually, is nice; I think they look especially good with converse. I also love the rear/ pockets- very flattering! Overall, I was very disapointed in the dark wash, but loved the authentic wash.

Yes AND No.
I own these in BLACK and love them, so I bought these ... two different colours, DARK BLUE and RINSE. DARK BLUE fit fine, the other RINSE is very tight. It's almost like having two different sizes. Also the RINSE material is very stiff and unnatural feeling/looking. I will be returning them. The DARK BLUE run a little large in the waist/hips. But I haven't washed them yet, so I'm hoping they'll shrink up a bit. Otherwise -- WONDERFUL!

Nice ... But Inconsistent Sizing!
I was looking for a new pair of skinny ... purchased these online in the dark blue color. I ordered a size 2 regular and the fit was right for my 5'2" frame. Since I liked the look, fit, and price of the ... dark blue, I decided to purchase the black pair in the same size (online). The black ... did not fit although it was the same size as the dark blue ... had to return those and go up a size (got the 4 regular). The size 4 is a little loose in the hips, but I can deal. The sizing is consistent! You would expect to wear the same size in the same brand and style of ... Overall, they're a good pair of ... price, just be mindful of the sizing.

very different from the original
i bought a pair of skinny ... few years ago and i loved them. i kept wearing them so much that they recently ripped at the knees and became too raggy to wear to work so i came on here and ordered 2 pairs (in dark blue and in the "rinse" wash). they're almost two completely different pairs of pants...and neither are like the authentic ones i had purchased 2 years ago. you have to be really careful when purchasing these because the material is different. if you read closely you will realize that the dark blue is 98% cotton and 2% spandex which is VERY stretchy. i'm 5'1 and weigh 105 pounds so i got the 0 regular and it was SUPER loose. i like to get regular because i like the cuff the bottom up but these were so saggy on the butt and the thighs and waste and everything else they just didn't fit at all. the rinse on the other hand was a lot more true to the "authentic" ones i got a couple years ago. they're made of 87% cotton, 12% polyester, and 1% spandex which is a lot closer to the ones that i loved and bought 2 years ago made of 80% cotton, 19% polyester and 1% spandex. the difference between the dark blue and the "rinse" is so huge when it comes to the material, thus making the difference in fit even larger. the "rinse" fit me better and i wore them to work for 9 hours and they didn't stretch out or sag at all which was a relief. so i definitely recommend the "rinse" if you're looking for ... keep their form well. the only thing i didn't enjoy about the "rinse" was that the cut was slightly different from the "authentic" when it came to the calves. they definitely seemed a lot looser on the calves then the ones i had previously worn which clung to my legs. overall though, this cut is good for me because the waist is high enough where my butt is fully covered when i bend down and the pants are comfortable to wear for an extended period of time and not have to worry about stretch (at least in the "rinse" only).

same ... same size doesnt fit ???
Ordered this ... size 4 in the black and a size 4 in the dark blue. The black one fit okay but is a little roomy in the wiast. Will definately need a belt. The dark blue was way too big. Go figure? Will probably return both of them and go down a size in the black and go down two sizes in the blue.

Disappointed
I am 4'11" and have a hard time finding ... fit me well, but I have always had great luck with ON ... Diva ... always fit me best, but for some reason these ... did not. They were really big in the butt and waist and they bunch in the legs. It really doesn't make a whole lot of sense because I have the same exact ... blue. I ordered a size smaller to see if it would make a difference and they were way too small.

Disappointed.
I've been buying ... Old Navy in the Diva rise pretty much since they came out--they've been my go to ... since high school. I've got a pair of skinny ones that are my absolute favorite pair of ... but they're starting to wear through in the thigh area--accursed chub rub. I figured I'd buy a replacement pair, since I haven't in a while, and--oh the crushing disappointment. I bought these in an 18 Petite, and they were huge on me. The rise is distinctly higher, they fit much looser, and they just feel cheap. I've also noticed an issue with the color of the picture on the website not matching the color of the actual ... ALL. Be advised that the Cuperno ... showed up at my door were a very traditional blue ... color, not the faded wash they appear to be, and the Authentic are a fairly dark wash, closer to how the Rinse appears on the website. (Though the Cuperno ... were of a heavier denim and closer to the old style Divas--the fit was still more unflattering than my fav. pair.) It looks like I'm going to have to figure out where to find my next favorite go to ...

Mom ...
This is most certainly a Mom ... ( you can bend over without your vertical smile showing). That being said, I LOVE these ... am always worrying about flashing my back end smile...but not with these! Totally safe to run after my kids, while looking nice! A little snug (for me) in the ankle...and a little bit extra length, but not too long. For reference - I am 5'4" and about 100lbs wear a Zero reg. I bought both the dark and lighter blue, and they were actually both the same fit (for a change!)

Sweetheart Skinny
The ... great, the dark denim run a little shorter than the regular blue denim. Just wish they would come out with more than 2 colors and styles for the sweetheart skinny. I am very tall and it is hard to find skinny ... fit and are long enough. I just get sick of going in old navy and all the skinny ... ripped and in light blue and black are extra below the waist or not in long.

Great skinny ... athletic girl
I have a hard time finding skinny ... fit my athletic calves and thighs and still fit relatively well in the waist. Last winter I got the sweetheart skinny ... black and love them. After a long search for a dark blue denim rinse, I came back to ON and just went with what I knew would fit, even after trying some expensive ... rise is higher which helps since I also have a butt, so when I sit I don't have to worry about things hanging out. If you have a similar shape, I'd really recommend these ... I'm usually 4-6, and I got these in 4. They're tight at first, but then they'll stretch. It's really an affordable way to get into the skinny ... trend.

Sweetheart Skinny
I bought my daughter the Sweetheart Skinny ... each color. The blue colored ... both fit differently. One of the blue colored ... fit just right, the other blue colored ... little tighter than the other one. The grey sweetheart that she really wanted is much looser than both pair of the blue ... recommend that if you buy the grey sweetheart skinny ... go down a size smaller. They are made from a different material from the sweetheart blue ... don't remember the Sweetheart ... last year. These are definitely a keeper.....Old Navy should bring these back each year. The Sweetheart are good ... hippy and/plus size girls/women.

Yes, they are big, but I still like them
I now own three pairs of the Sweetheart Skinny ... reference, I normally wear size 18 ... old navy. I bought the dark blue color in sizes 18 and 16. The size 18 are way too big at the waist. They fit okay through the legs. The big waist limits what tops I can wear with them, but it doesn't make them unwearable. The size 16 in dark blue fit like a skinny ... should and are not overly snug in the waist despite being a size smaller than I normally wear. The grey colored ... very different than the dark blue. The material is much softer and not a stiff denim like the others. I absolutely love the soft material. They feel more like leggings than ... me. I also really like the color. I ended up buying size 16 in the grey, though the size 14 was probably more of a "skinny ... fit.

The gray sweetheart ... has 4% spandex vs 1% in the dark blue and light blue ... least 3 times larger.RETURN!!!!!!

I recently bought these skinny ... dark blue wash and loved them! They fit just right - not too tight, but fitted. So, I ordered them in the black wash..... What a disappointment! The material didn't feel like denim - it was soft, almost like sweatpants! The ... were super stretchy and baggy, the waist was very high and loose. I don't know why two washes of the same pants are so different, but I'm going to stick with the dark blue wash.

As Expected
Got a pair in blue at the store; they didn't have my size in black at the store (12-long). Bought the regular length, acceptable but not great. When they wore out, I ordered the black ones through the website and they are identical to the blue, which doesn't always work out that way. Very happy.

Wish they came in more colors!
The fit and the price were unbeatable! i wish they came in a very dark blue wash The darkest blue is a worn blue. . . . not dark enough. Also maybe white and beige. They fit great!

Good ... don''t have to be expensive!
After 10 years (!!!) of wear, my Old Navy ... finallly wearing out (ripped in the knees, so now I wear 'em that way!). I was searching for good everyday go to ... were not expensive. I ordered 4 pairs from Old Navy in my Gap size, 10 petite (I'm 4'11"). I got the Sweetheart, the Dreamer, and the Flirt (in blue and in black). They were all on sale that weekend so I figured I'd try all 3 styles and return my least favorites. Guess what! I now have 4 pairs of keepers! I'm a happy girl. When I tried them on upon arrival, I did consider going a size down for a little tighter fit right where the butt meets the upper thiigh but I modeled them for my husband and a trusted friend and we all agreed that this size is sctually fine. The petite length is PERFECT!!! They averaged just [$] per pair - WOW! The black is s nice deep black, too, just as I'd hoped!

sizing is inconsistent
I got these in the dark blue and black. The black are pretty true to size, but the blue ones are a full size too large. I re ordered them a size down and they're great. They do stretch out after a few wears but washing them shrinks them again.

I''M CONFUSED
I ordered 2 of the Flirt ... blue ones are fine, but these black ones really made me mad. I ordered size 8 short on both, but the black are more like a size 6 (unless the label is wrong). I don't know...I really want these ... so I will go to a store and buy a 10 short, for now these are going back. RE: 5'1 135 lbs

What a let down
It seems like Old Navy keeps changing the sizes of their ... ordering using the style number on a pair I already own and love that I bought about a year ago. The year before that the pair I bought was also the same style number but its fit is completely different. The measuring chart also puts me at an 18--but the 14 is way too big on my waist and fits my hips fine. I'd definitely suggest making a run to the store to try these on rather than ordering them online. Also, I've washed the dark blue wash ... least 7 times and I'm still getting blue dye all over my legs whenever I wear them.

Great potential
This ... were disappointing. I have a pair of blue ... same style and size that fir perfectly. The black came in with a very low rise (aka butt will show crack) and I'll fitting overall. So disappointed

Flirt ...
I first bought these ... black. Loved them so much and they fit so perfectly that I bought another black pair and a dark blue pair. The dark blue pair of ... not the same size as the black ... although the label said it was the same size. The dark blue ... SO SMALL! What happened Old Navy?? The black pair fit wonderfully. So strange.

So disappointed
I bought my first pair of Old Navy ... loved the Flirt bootcut fit in Tamarisk. I ordered 2 more pairs on the website, one in Black Jack and the other the same dark blue Tamarisk. The blue pair fit like the original, flattering, comfortable and slimming. The pair in Black Jack are terrible! The fabric is stiff, scratchy and uncomfortable, even after 2 washings. They are smaller in the waist and hip area, too tight for comfort, and they are longer than the other pair, enough that I will have to have them hemmed. I am so disappointed that the black pair is so different from the blue. I should have paid more attention to the other reviews. This same problem seems to be a common theme.

i have been buying old navy ... couple years ago now. about a year or two ago a really light blue line of loose ... came out. I tried them on and enjoyed the fit and the color so much that i bought as many as i could find with my size. its been a while now and that color still has not come out again. i was wondering if the company does a repeat or do customers just have to inquire about them enough to get a result? I am really looking forward to seeing them on the market again

Great pants but way tooooo long!
I bought these pants for my husband in the dark blue and light blue. Both had 30" inseams. The dark blue were perfect. The light blue, however, were super long. I measured the inseam and they are 36" long!!! I double checked the tag and it says they are 30" inseam. He loves them, but we have to take them in to have the hem taken up. Otherwise, they are great! Just beware of the length being too long.

very disappointed
I have a lot of clothes from Old Navy and I love all that I have. All except for these pieces of blue fabric that look like legs that I'm told are jeans. Let just say they are not ... classic, comfortable, and durable. These ... here at least have the classic part down, said fail miserably in the other two departments. Usually, I take my sub par clothes and wear them to work instead of my good clothes, but I don't know if I'll even do that. The sad thing is my mom got me ON shorts that were exactly like this and I LOVE them. The main difference between the shorts and the" ... shorts actually fit like loose pants should. The ... do not. The shorts actually seem to have the correct waist size. The ... feel like they are two sizes too small and I feel like a kid that doesn't know how to dress himself. The ... also feel very cheaply made. The fabric feels so thin that if you actually used to paint in, you would destroy them. The fabric of the shorts was actually thick and strong. I could go on and on, I'll just stop right here. There are a thousand other clothing brands that I could spend my hard earned money on. I'm not sure I'll keep spending it at Old Navy.

New Design is Terrible - No Longer True to Size or Flattering
I am a designer and I have read a few reviews saying that people who do not like the new cut of these ... behind the times or out of style. I would say the authors of those reviews are just being uppity or snobbish. The new cut of these ... much narrower through the quad and crotch. They are no longer a "loose" fit. My husband has been wearing these ... least ten years and has loved them. He wore them to work and play. The old cut had enough room that you could work in them and be physically active. The new cut binds through the inseam and pulls tight across the quad. They also have an odd shape to the back side of the jean making the rear end look very unattractive. In addition the sizing is no longer accurate, I purchase one size larger than my husband normally wears because the ... looked narrower than normal on the shelf, but they were still too tight through the quad and were binding in the groin. My husband and I both used to love these ... but with the new cut they are no longer practical, they do not allow free movement which really is the point of a painters cut jean. I sincerely hope Old Navy will rethink the new cut and go back to the old true loose fit cut. I will be returning the three pairs of these I bought today and may have to take our business elsewhere in the future if something is not done to fix the design of this ... next season.

New painter ... awful
If you loved the old painter ... old navy then you are gonna hate the new ones. I am tall and always fit the 36 length painter ... perfectly. Just received the new style and they are not even wearable, unless we have some flash floods. They are waaay shorter than the old ones and also much tighter around the waist and seat. Since they don't make ... longer than a 36 at old navy, I will never order another pair of ... them until they bring back the old style. And since the ... only reason I ever shopped at old navy, I won't be purchasing anything else, either. BRING BACK THE OLD STYLE PAINTER JEAN!!!!

Just what I''ve been looking for!
I've been looking forever for some light blue ... finally found some, I ordered a pair to try them out. I'm around 5"3", and wear a size 8. It's hard to find ... actually fit me the way I want them to, but to my surprise these fit me perfectly! I like them so much, that I ordered another pair.

old reliable
God bless ON and the Diva bootcut! For all their crazy sizing this cut has stayed true blue since it was introduced. The 2P is really a 2P! Love the wash and the fact that there is NO crazy stitching or embellishment. Neat. Tidy. Perfect.

Love these ...
I love the Dark Authentic ... loved them so much, I went and bought the Moonstone Blue. They didnt come lose to the same fit! They are alot tighter in the thighs. These ... can be dressed up or dressed down and you still feel great in them!

Great fitting ...
These were true to size for me. Length was perfect. I'm 6'2" and usually wear a 35-36" inseam. I got the talc color which looks like a medium blue. They fit me well as is, but I think a belt will perfect the fit.

Ok, the deal with these ...
Let me start by saying that I've always worn ON ... they completely change every few years. The denim quality isn't the same AT ALL. What seems to be happening now is the darker the color, the smaller they run. The really dark blue is at least a size (or 2) smaller than what I would normally wear. Thinner, rougher and not a whole lot of stretch. The waist on those are crazy tight even after wearing for a while. The light blue are really soft and a lot more stretchy. Also, something I noticed today was that the Long length (from the store) is NOT the same as the Tall length (Online). There's a good 2 inch difference... the Tall's are longer.
