Love them - but hard to find the size I need... son loves these ... - loose ... style. I like that fact that they have different shades now too. The only problem that I am having is that I can never find this style in his size - not even online. It seems like this size is one of the few not available. Other than that - the ... great. He is a little picky about how they ... his legs. The other styles are either too tight and uncomortable for him or if I go the next size up or even to husky they are way too big. Really wish I could get his size. It is getting colder and he only has two pairs right now.
Glad I made the purchaseI love love love the ... Loose Fit ... hate buying pants for my middle son. It is very hard for us to go shopping, he hates it and we can never find anything he likes or that ... (we buy husky for him though he is not big at all). Seeing such a great deal on here, it was hard to pass up. I decided to buy and chance that they were going to ... my relief, they ... him and he loved them!!! I am a very happy mom. I also bought the regular size for my oldest. They ... him very nicely and it doesn't make him look like a toothpick.
NICE ... These jeaans are very nice but are probably not the best style for my son. He has long, slim legs so the loose ... probably too loose, but we are keeping them (2 pr). He is growing so rapidly perhaps in time he will grow into them better! We needed new ... waistline.
These are my sons favourite ON ... :) This will be our 3rd year purchasing them for our sons school wardrobe. They fit great. He says they're comfortable. The adjustable waist is a plus! So far ON ... have been durable JUST enough to last MOST of the school year (if you don?t count knee fade and ankle hem wear) .. last year we bought 3 pairs and the last pair finally ripped in the knee about 10 weeks before the end of school. Not too shabby for an uber active tween ... ;p ON has a good selection of ... styles and colours, however, it?s getting harder to find our sons fit and favourite styles in store without them looking ?grungy dirty?. My son will be 13 this year and even he?s not impressed with the ?dirty look? trend in colours : To be honest, if it weren?t for the Back to School sales making them so affordable, and the fact that you can find decent colours online, due to the colour issues alone we have considered looking elsewhere. ON A PERSONAL NOTE ? Regular Fit looks great online in the darker shades, but better in person in the lighter shades. The reverse is true for Loose Fit (though our son has both light and dark and they look just fine). Unless your kiddo is retro British Invasion or a wannabe metro, ... Skinny just looks stupid. And it is impossible to find Painter or Carpenter style ... store, but easy to find them in Mens .. why? Not to mention, online, ... Painter ... only ever come in one shade.
Love these ... We love that these ... loose ... adjustable waist are available in slim. They are stylish and durable and are true to size. My son wears them until he outgrows them.
Love these ... The ... Loose Fit ... perfect - not too clingy; a great fit overall. And the price is right! I love the adjustable waistband, too. These are my "go to" ... both my ... ages 6 and 4. Thanks Old Navy!

Great find!Old Navy's ... husky ... great find! They are the only ... husky ... could find that were cut wide enough in the backside to fit my son. All other husky ... not cut as wide or as loose.

Great price, great ... Because of the sale price, I bought two pairs each for my two ... My ... wear out their ... so theres no hand me-downs anymore. But these ... turned out to be very comfortable and fit true to size.
Not a true loose ... Overall ... ok The thigh area is definetly not a loose ... am pretty skinny, pretty snug at first and even a bit after they a broken in. For the price there decent enough for now.

Love ON ... We used to buy Children's Place ... kids but Old Navy's ... beat out CP these days. These are a perfect fit for my slim 9 year old and not too skinny of a fit like CP. This is our second year buying ON ... my son and we have been very pleased.
Like these pantsThese ... fairly durable and look great. I bought them for my 11 year old ... put that they are true to size and length, etc, because they do fit my ... fine. However, I have bought enough Old Navy ... know that this style does run larger than other styles, for example the boot cut ... Really, my main concern is length because my ... always grow out of ... length wise first. Obviously they are looser than the boot cut because that is the style, but they are definitely longer, too, by an inch, maybe two--which is a big difference. I think it would be nice if this were mentioned in the description of the ... because before I figured this out on my own, it was annoying to buy several pairs of the different styles and discover the varying lengths when I received them and wish I had gotten a larger or smaller size in differing styles. So my advice is that Old Navy specify length on all their pants. Also, these and all the ... have bought do seem to shrink, and I wash them according to instructions. Lastly, I LOVE the adjustable waist bands. Even with the slim size, I still need to cinch them up a bit so they don't fall off of my scrawny ...
great ... I love old navy ... color never fades. My son is very tall and thin so I love that they have an adjusting waist band. They fit so stylish on him.
LOVE THESE ... These painter ... great!! I have two ... ages 5 and 7 and I get several pairs for them every year. They look very stylish, fit well and are roomy enough to be used even on P.E. days. They look good with both boots and sneakers, too!!

I can''t get enough of the boy''s painter style!Although the trend in jeans has shifted in recent years from loose to fitted, I'm still loyal to the painter's jean style. Skinny jeans for girls look cute...not so much for elementary school aged ... miss having the painter's jeans being stocked at my local ON. I always make sure to order plenty online because when the chilly days of Fall arrive; I know I can't rush to the mall to purchase the painter's style. My two ... play rough and typically ruin their ... within 6 months; the knees are the first to go. Sure, ON could use a more durable denim but, I'm not complaining. The $10 end of-summer jean promotion is the time to stock up! (although the painter's style never dropped below [$] this year) How many of us blow $10 at a fast food eatery for lunch? That makes the ... true bargain!

I love the adjustable waistI have been buying the Old Navy jeans with the adjustable waist for years - ever since my boys frist tried them. The jeans are inexpensive and durable. The adjustable waist is wonderful. The boys like wearing jeans without a belt - so they can adjust the waist to their comfort and not wear a belt. My youngest son always gets the hand me-downs - so I am thankful these jeans are so durable even my youngest son doesn't mind. Plus their waist sizes are different - the full range of adjustability in the waist of the jeans allow them both to wear the jeans with no problem and no belt. My boys love the style and comfort. I love the savings and lack of complaints from them!

ImpressedI bought these ... 5slim and 18husky. Both ... like them a lot and think they are very comfortable. They fit nice on both body types. We have only owned them a short time, but would still recommend them.
Runs shorter in lengthI had to return all three pairs I purchased. They run shorter than the other styles at Old Navy and are too short for my tall ... We'll stick with the Regular Fit style.

Quality at a great price... son is not husky, nor is "chubby", but does have a very muscular set of legs :) It can be difficult to find him ... because of the small waist and larger thighs, but the loose ... Old Navy never let us down. It would seem other brands, at this same price range, are created loose everywhere, more like a husky ... than loose ... Also, we live relatively far and when I know I am going to be needing something in paticular, without time to drive and shop, I can be sure ordering on line is going to work. ... really do run consistantly true to size! Love the quality at the price.

They were more true to size than the ... regular ... we returned. They are also a little darker than he wished, but he loves them and they were sale priced at [$] ea! The stores didn't carry his size (18) so I had to order on line - overall very happy. Customer service was excellent too.

We will have to stick with the 10 husky regular bootcut. Otherwise, these ... would have been perfect and were marked down at a very reasonable price. Can't buy ... quality and price anywhere.

These ON loose ... seem to have a higher rise on them and therefore sit right at their belly button area & most of ... don't like that, they would rather wear them lower (like all guys do). Because when they sit down in these ... they complain that the ... hurt by sqishing their belly. The Regular ... actually have the lower rise that are more comfortable to wear.
Disappointed!I purchased several pairs of Old Navy loose ... 6 year old son. I was very happy at first...the ... were a perfect ... looked nice, etc. However, ... shrunk nearly 2 inches after being washed and dried once! I now have 5 pairs of ... no longer ... son. I am extremely disappointed and a little more than angry that I have just wasted over $100. I am a single mother and had to save for MONTHS to buy ... son new school pants and now he can't wear any of them! And of course I can't return them because ... have been worn and washed.
