softer than I thought These pants were a great price for the quality. They are softer than I thought and wash nice.... not too wrinkly. The only thing is that I ordered the regular size for my son who usually wears a slim. He wears other pants that aren't slim, but I felt like these were baggier than just a regular, more like husky. They don't look ridiculous, just worth mentioning that they are roomy through the leg.
uniform pants ... okay. My son is hard on his knees so these don't last that long but they work. My only issue is they have a button instead of the "faux button" which is the hook and eye with a button facade. I prefer the faux button.
Pants are just ok.....don't seem to hold up for very long. My ... (8 and 6) are not especially hard on them and the knees always seem to give out. Have had to patch them just to get through the school year without having to buy more. This year I am going to buy the pants at [@].

Great pants These pants are great for my lil school ... only wished he wasn't so rough on them. Not even 1/2 way through the school year and I have already needed to buy him more pants. Grass stains come out easily....it's the holes he wears in them, maybe if there were a little more reinforcement in the knees....but love them.
... pants My ... all ... bust the knees on almost all of their pants. These pants are the most durable and are well priced. I believe in ironing as well, and they iron to a crisp. My ... also true to height but slim so the adjustable waistband is a plus.
Pants are for my son for school. They look nice, fit well, and iron well. I would definatly recomend these as school pants.
Very nice pants for school at a good price We have had these pants for about three weeks and so far are very happy with them. They wash well and only shrunk a little bit. This was fine for me because my son is very slim!! As far as durability, time will tell. He is not very rough on his clothes and only wears them to school. They look nice, they are very soft, and he says they are comfortable!! I would definitely purchase these pants again.
Ok The pants fit well with the adjustable band. They were easy for my to put on and take off. They are comfortable. However, he wore them once and the color already faded on the knees. All he did was play outside for recess for 15 minutes. So, I will not be purchasing these pants again unless we use them only for going to church.
I ordered these uniform pants for my son who had a growth sprut and all his pants were too tight in the waist and the store closest to us did not have the Navy or Khaki in stock which is the only two colors he can where. Pants themselves are great. My only complaint is that I paid extra for 3 - 5 day shipping instead of the free shipping which take 5 -7 day; that was a waste of money, because it took all 5 days to get them here.
Lacking in durability I buy these pants for my 7yr old son every year for school. Last year, the quality seemed to have lessened to some extent. I had to replace two pair before the end of the winter. This year, I bought three pair. Before midterm, the knees ripped in two pair. I know he plays rough (he's a seven year old, its expected) but they should last longer than that. I recommend the Gap pants at this point. They are thicker and just better quality. Sad they come from the same company. But, I guess you get what you pay for.
not what I expected I received my package quickly, in the package there were supposed to be a pair of khaki and a pair of navy pants. Only the Navy pants were there. I contacted Customer Service and was told I needed to send back the pair I have and I would receive another package. What I would like to know is who fulfills the orders?? They couldn't see that there was only one pair of pants in the package and not two. I am very dissappointed, I paid[$]plus tax for one pair of pants. I was going to send them back but am unable to at this time. I just will not order from Old Navy.com again
Mine not plain front Name of product says "plain front", picture online shows "plain front" but the two pairs of pants I received were pleated. The item number on the tags matches the item number on the website, so not sure where the mixup originated. Will have to return and find plain front pants. Otherwise, quality looked nice and fabric was soft.
Still waiting on correct product I am unable to review the quality, fit or durability of this product, as I am still waiting for Old Navy to get my order right. They have sent me the wrong pants 3 separate times. Each time I have been assured that I will receive flat front pants and each time pleated front pants have arrived. My son begins school in a few days. I am hoping that this is rectified by then. The Customer Service reps have been nice and helpful, but there is still a problem that needs to be solved. I am not planning on shopping Old Navy online again in the future.
bad first experience I placed my order for school pants for my son.I bought a 2 pack of flat front khaki pants. The order arrived quickly. But, when I opened my package there was only 1 pair of pants in the package. Upon further examination, i saw the one pair was not even the right style (even though the sku number on the package matched what I had ordered. I called customer service right away. She was very nice. Her suggestion was that I go to the store to return the item I did receive. When I trucked across town to the store, the manager informed me the pants had been returned. I was not sure of this so I called customer service again and sure enough my credit card had been credited. BUT, I still have a pair of pants at my house---which are now unpaid for since I got a credit for the 2 I was supposed to have received. I asked if I could just pay over the phone for these since they were in my sons size and he could wear them. No, I had to send them back and do some type of exchange. I just had them send me a return shipping label and sent them back. I think I will stick to shopping in store from now on to avoid these kinds of hassles.
Soft, sturdy twill and a pleated front make these versatile pants easy to dress up or down. Great for school uniforms, too!

Great pants for the price Both of my boys wear these pants to school. These pants were purchased to replace ones from last year as they are just not showing rips in the knees. My ... hard on their pants and so the reinforcement helps.
Love these! I have twin ... 11. These pants are definately my "must" haves for school for my ...
Best Husky Pants I have purchased husky uniform pants from another company and they were not as durable, comfortable as the ones from Old Navy. Also when I purchase husky pants they tend to be extremely long and I have to mend them however the ones I purchase from Old navy are just the right length. Thank you for such a great product!!!
Best Uniform Pants Ever!!! I purchase these pants every year. I absolutely love them, most shorts for ... fit to short in the length for me and my son is short. ON has not disappointed me yet on uniform shorts/pants.
Great uniform pants! I bought these pants due to my son's school having a uniform polciy. I've bought other pants similar to these, but the knees are always ripping after a couple of wears. So far, the knees are still intact after several wears. He also likes the feel of the pants and the fit. He use to change his clothes as soon as he got home from school, but now he will wear these all day. I won't buy any other kind.
Excellent quality and comfortable Pants (Size 16 husky) are bought for the school uniform.I like the quality of 100% cotton. Easy to move, the waist is true to size. The only thing that had to be shortened by several inches, as the pants are very long.
Love Old Navy My kids all wear Old Navy school uniform pants and I love them. The ... always seem to wear out the knees within a few months, but they are 9, that is expected. Soft to the touch and they wear well right out of the dryer.
Slim Fit flatters My four year old son really likes dressing up, and these pants will do the trick nicely. The slim fit is great for us because except for the length and stride he could basically wear the pants he wore as a 2-yr old. He has grown up and not out. . . Adjustable waist makes it even better, and he LOVES the hook closure because it is easy on and off, but the button detail on the front is a nice look, too. A 5 slim is still just a bit long for him but we can adjust the hem slightly and get much wear from these pants.
The pants are OK The khaki pants that I ordered had strange button holes. Other than that the pants were fine.
Fine, but... Pleated khaki pants for ... don't seem to exist anymore so I was happy to find these however they are a bit baggy for my taste. We have hauled in the waist with the button tabs and hemmed the legs but all in all a baggy look. They will be fine for everyday wear and a great price!
These pants are not made for slim 7 year old ... Even with the elastic cinched all the way tight, you can still pull these off. We will be buying slim sizes only from now on. If your child is fuller around the waist, I'm sure they would be great, but my kids are skinny yet healthy.
