Twill pants with reliable fit
I have two ... approximately the same size. Love the adjustable waist as they're able to interchange the pants - one wears regular, one is slim. I bought both khaki and navy. Really wish the pants were available in black, too.

Great school uniforms
They were more than I expected. The double knees for a boy are a great idea. The quality of the material seems quite durable. Would recommend highly for any Moms with ... private school who need to wear uniforms.

Alot of the reviewers on here stated that the pants were longer than other brands the same size. I was so happy to hear this since my son is at the stage where 10 slim (in other brands) is toooo short ... and 12 slim (in other brands) is WAY too long. So, I was counting on the reviews to be correct ... and they were!! While I know this is a negative thing for some reviewers on here ... for me ... it was awesome. Great fit ... great price ... great pants. Awesome.

Slim Fit flatters
My four year old son really likes dressing up, and these pants will do the trick nicely. The slim fit is great for us because except for the length and stride he could basically wear the pants he wore as a 2-yr old. He has grown up and not out. . . Adjustable waist makes it even better, and he LOVES the hook closure because it is easy on and off, but the button detail on the front is a nice look, too. A 5 slim is still just a bit long for him but we can adjust the hem slightly and get much wear from these pants.

Versatility
These ... Twill pants are great for uniform as well as dressy weekend attire for my boy. I wish they also came in different lengths like the adult jeans.

A bit big
I bought a SLIM size, beware the pants are not a true slim. They were big in the legs on my son but the lenght was perfect so it worked out. They wash well and don't need to be ironed but seem to really pick up a lot of lint throughout the day at school. Overall they are nice and my son is comfortable in them. Best feature is they have the sliding closure not a button which is hard for the little ones to deal with sometimes.

Sizing seemed big
My ... tend to be on the slim side but generally wear regular sized pants with adjustable waists. We ordered size 8 & 10 for the older child and size 7 for my younger child. I was pretty confident the size 7 would fit since he wore size 6 last year and they were tight at the start of the school year. My 9 year old was another story since he is in between. The size 7 was huge on the little one. Last year the younger son was a size 6 but somehow the size 7 this year was just really oversized. The size 10 was way too big for the 9 year old but even the size 8 was sort of big. I kept the 8 and hoped they would shrink. No dice, they actually did not shrink! So I'll have them for the mid year when he most likely will move up a size but I ended up having to order more pants.

Terrible
These pants are terrible. The pants are too short and the waist was not slim. Not to mention the knees wore and got holes after just 5 weeks of ... play. I am very disappointed!

Great school pants!
I got the 12 husky and 6 ... these pants for ... two ... They fit great. The husky is a little long for ... 4th grader but the slims fit ... 1st grader just perfect. Husky pants are so difficult to find in stores, thanks for providing these Old Navy! I will be purchasing these pants again!

These pants are great for my ... My ... thin and the slim sizes fit them perfectly. Not to mention they wash well and if I get them out of the dryer soon I never need to iron them! Great for three ... busy household. The ... wear these for special occasions and weekly church. They love them because they are comfortable. I have to beg them to take them off to play outside! I always order these uniform pants for my three ... uniform pants whether they are flat front, pleated, slim, reg or husky fit each one of my sons and last most of the school year. The elastic pull inside the regular pants allow them to "grow" with the ... through the school year.

I have bought these pants for both of my ... last two school years. They like them and you can get them in different sizes. One needs a slim and the other regular or husky. The only thing I wish the fabric was a little more durable. I bought each one five pair to start school. I just had to come back for a couple more pair as they are getting thin in the knee area. Hard to find
Comfy ... husky kid are hard to find. Most ... so geared to the "skinny ... style ... forget that kids have hips! ... son is only "husky" in the clothing sense of the word because of those design flaws. These ... great. The adjustable waist is wonderful and that little bit of extra space in the seat and thighs is perfect for a real kid who runs and plays.

If you buy the right weight of fabric, the knees won't tear out until after they've become high waters. When I buy ... These ... great! Very stylish and hip (in the black Venice wash...looks more so than the online photo portrays), yet at much less cost than Gap and other premium companies for children's clothing. I personally won't spend a ton on kid's clothing being that I have 3 ... all so tough on their ... But I also care to have them have some style and feel good about what ... wear. Old Navy makes it possible to dress your kids in nice styles without breaking the bank for clothing that is going to be outgrown or ruined from ... play.

I don't normally buy ... online for ... children since ... constantly growing and their clothing ... changes. I had a pretty good idea what ... 2 ... were and bought these ... back to school. I was very pleased that the ... accurate and even a tiny bit bigger than expected which means ... should last a little bit longer than expected since ... have the adjustable waist. This was a very good buy for the money.

... son is a very thin ... - we've tried many different kinds of ... but ALWAYS come back to these. The length is great, ... look nice and they're comfortable. Best of all, the legs aren't super wide so ... don't poof out when we pull the waist band in. A huge bonus - they're really durable!! NO holes in the knees. I buy him 4-5 pairs each time he changes ... he almost always outgrows them before he gets holes in the knees, which is amazing considering how much time ... fall and crawl around and destroy clothing. Overall, great price, great construction, look nice and ... hold up. Buy a few.

Great fit and look but shrunk quite a bit
We were having family photos taken and ... growning twin ... needed some longer ... were currently wearing 10 ... Old Navy so I went up to 12 ... arrived I had the slimmer of the two ... try them on and ... were quite baggy and very long. Still, ... looked better than the ... were becoming too short. I went ahead and washed them in cold and dried them on low and I was amazed how much ... shrunk. ... looked much better but how disappointing to have that much change in cold water wash and low dry. I have read that the cost of clothing is rising 10-20% and to compensate for that cost, manufacturers were going to make things thinner and lighter. Apparently these ... quality. With that said, I still love the fit and look and I am thankful for the adjustable waist. Just beware of the potential shrinkage and wash and dry on cold/low only!

These are ok
These ... true to ... expectations. Having experience purchasing from Old Navy, I knew that the ... would be huge upon receiving them and ... simply swallow ... 7 year old- who is a true ... 7. However, upon 1 - 2 washes ... shrink so significantly that the ... eventually fit like a glove. I never pay full price at Old Navy as their clothing runs so big, you never really can predict what you will be getting. Overall, I am happy with the lasting quality and look of Old Navy clothing- while it runs very big and shrinks very much at first, the clothing will retain its color and eventually ... really are built to last more than just one season.

Huskey sizes still too small
I have a son who wears the husky sized ... last two years I have ordered online for some jeans for him. Every time they are too small. He wears a Husky 16 jean and Old Navy is the only jean that is too tight on him. I go to other clothing stores and get the same size and style and they fit fine but Old Navy jeans and pants in the Husky 16 are still too small. Sorry, but won't buy jeans or pants from Old Navy for him anymore! Make the waist a little looser on the jeans and maybe I might reconsider. Also not enough selection in the stores in Husky 16- 18 sized jeans and pants. Put more sizes and choices in the stores.

Love these jeans
We love that these ... loose fit jeans with an adjustable waist are available in slim. They are stylish and durable and are true to size. My son wears them until he outgrows them.

Quality clothing at a reasonable price
Both my wife and I have been customer of Old Navy since 2000 or 2001, and having two small ... want ... pretty durable and rugged for all there activities but at the same time are no going to cost you an arm and a leg. Old Navy ... just that, quality clothing at a reasonable price. They are made so well that while I hate to admit it, my youngest son wears all of my older sons clothing. I am definitely getting my moneys worth out of Old Navy clothing products. Some of the big name stores clothing products certainly do not hold up or last as long as Old Navy. You pay three times the amount for the same clothing, however they lack the quality and/or durability. So in closing, we will remain loyal Old Navy Customers because they provide a great quality product at a fair and reasonable price, my only wish is that they stocked much bigger sizes for the larger man. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to share my thoughts about your products.

I like the way Old Navy slim fit jeans fit my son. He is tall, yet very slender. I have tried other jeans, but I always return to Old Navy. They have the adjustable waist (He has to be on the last hole LOL) and they are long enough! The other stores I have tried in his size run too short when I fit his waist. Plus you can't beat the price and my son loves the Old Navy style!

Slim jeans
I had been looking all over for slim jeans. I went to several different stores and everything I brought home fell off my skinny 12 year old ... could not find slim jeans anywhere. My sister in-law suggested Old Navy and I looked online and found several styles and pairs that would work for my 12 year old. And better yet the day after Thanksgiving you had a sale for [$]a pair. NICE JEANS
These jeaans are very nice but are probably not the best style for my son. He has long, slim legs so the loose fit is probably too loose, but we are keeping them (2 pr). He is growing so rapidly perhaps in time he will grow into them better! We needed new jeans for the waistline.

These are my sons favourite ON jeans :)
This will be our 3rd year purchasing them for our sons school wardrobe. They fit great. He says they're comfortable. The adjustable waist is a plus! So far ON jeans have been durable JUST enough to last MOST of the school year (if you don?t count knee fade and ankle hem wear) .. last year we bought 3 pairs and the last pair finally ripped in the knee about 10 weeks before the end of school. Not too shabby for an uber active tween boy ;p ON has a good selection of ... styles and colours, however, it?s getting harder to find our sons fit and favourite styles in store without them looking ?grungy dirty?. My son will be 13 this year and even he?s not impressed with the ?dirty look? trend in colours : To be honest, if it weren?t for the Back to School sales making them so affordable, and the fact that you can find decent colours online, due to the colour issues alone we have considered looking elsewhere. ON A PERSONAL NOTE ? Regular Fit looks great online in the darker shades, but better in person in the lighter shades. The reverse is true for Loose Fit (though our son has both light and dark and they look just fine). Unless your kiddo is retro British Invasion or a wannabe metro, ... Skinny just looks stupid. And it is impossible to find Painter or Carpenter style jeans for ... store, but easy to find them in Mens .. why? Not to mention, online, ... Painter jeans only ever come in one shade.

We love the adjustable waist..we need them even on the slim sizes for our son's height..these wear well and are stylish.

COM"PLEAT"LY SURPRISED
Usually purchase slim, flat front shorts and pants for my son, but got a pair during an online sale and the pleated shorts were $1 cheaper. Wasn't sure if sizing would be consistent, so followed a reviewers suggestion and bought a regular 6 since she stated the pleated shorts ran smaller... Not the case. Still too big for his waist! Thank goodness for adjustable waste bands! Other than that, the quality remained the same. Always a reliable purchase. Wished I could say the same for the polo pullovers this season! One word..CHEAP!

We ordered some shorts from Old Navy. Our store here doesn't always stock what we find on line. We have been truly pleased with our purchases. MY only request would be that there were more offers for the slim sizes. We got the regular sizes in some things, and the elastic waist made that possible. Overall, we are happy with what we have.

2nd School Year
This will be my ... second school year with Old Navy shorts and pants. They have both come home with stains I thought would never lift (grass, marker, ketchup) but they did and they also fold very nicely and are wrinkle resistant. I'm very pleased they are available in slim sizes too and I highly recommend these for school uniforms!!

Nice Looking, Great Fit
Old Navy carries slim size pants that my son needs. The adjustable waist makes for a perfect fit. My son always looks neat in his Old Navy school pants. The material is soft and comfortable, yet durable. Would be nicer if the color didn't fade so much.

Great shorts. We've have many pair before, however, this pair seemed snug. Also, I was very disappointed to be unable to purchase them in the store (Old Navy and Gap had plenty of uniform type long pants in stock but no shorts). More and more schools are going to uniforms for the students so it would be nice to be able to purchase the clothing year round. These shorts have excellent durability. I have had four ... wear previous pairs in succession!

Too small
I got the size my ... would normally wear but they ended up being way to tight in the waist. My 5 year old boy has to have a size 8, and he is not a chunky boy. They seemed to be of good quality, just weird sizing.

I love Old Navy jeans for my ... one of the few brands out there that they actually grow out of before they destroy. My ... very slim, and I love that the jeans not only come in slim sizes, but they have the adjustable button waists. I don't dress my children in anything but Old Navy jeans.

I purchased these jeans in sizes 7 regular and 6 slim for my ... They fit very well and look great on. A lot of adjustable waist jeans are really baggy under the rear- we did not have that problem with these. I am very pleased with the jeans- excellent price too.

These Fit!
I've been purchasing these jeans for my growing ... ages 5 and 9 for years now and they are great. Sized just right, not too big in the hips or thighs and the length is good. Finally jeans that aren't too short! The adjustable waist is always a plus and we have often purchased the slim first when they get to the next size and then gradually shift to the regular. My only comment is that they could be a tad longer in sizes 10-12-14 since they seem to grow out of the length first by that time. Feel confident in buying this product!

My ... pretty slim, but the regular jeans fit just fine. If you actually take the measurements and use the chart, you can't go wrong with sizing. The only pants that fit my slender son
I am SO glad I found pants in a slim size! My son is slender and I even have to use the adjustable waist straps on the slim sizes. I had been struggling to find a pant that I didn't have to sew darts in or take it in somehow. It's frustrating that most boy's clothing is sized so large...like they expect all ... husky. Nice jeans - but-
Just wish they would make the exact jeans with a smaller waist. My ... have to use the elastic waist ajustment to the extent it bulges up too much. The length is perfect and the leg room is perfect. Old Navy, there still are some skinny kids out there that want room to move in the legs. The slim version is just to tight everywhere.

Slim sizes are great for thin ... Wish there was a size 14 slim, since my son needs the length of the size 14, but has to pull the adjustable waist in all the way since he's so thin & they are loose for him, but he still likes them.

Fabric a little thin?
Im not sure if my ... have gotten more active or wether the material is thinner but I used to be able to get two kids worth of wear out of these jeans. Now the knees wear out before my older son has out grown them. It would be nice if they could be somehow reinforced. Otherwise these are the only jeans that my ... like. They are both skinny so the slim fit ones are perfect for them.

too big
My ... had these jeans a few years ago and they were fine. I just purchased some new to wear this coming school year. I ordered slim sizes because my 3 ... all slim. The jeans, however, were way too big. They didn't seem to be slim sized at all. Also, the denim felt cheap like it wouldn't last very long. I returned them all.
