love love love
I ordered the medium wash in 6 short. I'm 5'4" and 130 ish and in number size ... I'm typically a 27 or 28, but I my legs and calves are on the skinny side. I didn't size up (I vary in between 4-6, 8 on "fat" days) in old navy/gap sizing, but I did get the short length. As I stated I am 5'4" with proportioned legs (? lol) and the hit me at the ankle, which is what I desired. I find that the petite style is, in fact for petite (as I used to try to order petite to get pant legs that are shorter to find that the rear area and arm holes, etc, would always be a little too tight.) They are great. if you have slim legs, I don't think you need to size up, they fit very tight --in a good way, and it's nice to have a real working zipper/fly on a pair of jeggings. I just hope they hold up after a few washings, but they're stretchy, so they should be fine. Definitely my favorite pants, who needs flares, i love these. The color (medium wash) is great, I want to get more but....none of the colors I like are in stock--so I will check the store. Can old navy do a soft black jegging, please, no blue black, no stiff thick heavy black denim... but a black almost a twillish denimy feeling soft jegging? I'm in socal, and the thick denim pants don't work here...lightweight, please.

I love it!!!!!!!!! make me look slim!
I didn't expect to purchase this denim leggings when I was in the store, but I just tried on unintentionally. But I couldn't believe my eyes. My legs ... no muscle flesh...looked slim! Of course it wasn't mirror magic. Old navy doesn't have magic fake mirror! I love this one... but only problem.. is I had to buy size up....( at least 1 size up.) I wear size 8 on oldnavy but this is denim LEGGINGS, so one size up looks better and I purchased size 10. Overall... I highly recommend to everyone who is looking for denim leggings.

great confort and esthetics
I am Italian and I visit a lot the US. I think Old Navy has the best ... ever in the USA and elsewhere. The price is good and the quality/looks are fab. I bought 3 of these fantastic leggings ... bring back home with me. And everyone compliments me on how they look. I am 5'7 and 110 pounds. I have never had much of a butt but this ... give me a little one and makes my thighs look very tonic and firm. The spandex does its job! And they are so confortable and soft that i would wear them to go bed. I have them in all colors but my favorite are the dark denim. I am not very fond of the fabric of the black and how they feel on my skin even though i wear them. I am sticking with the blu denim forever. I am having my friend send me 2 extra pairs to Italy as i am scared that they might discontinue them. Bravo Old Navy!!!

I started out with a size 18 in black and a denim color and was amazed not only did it fit but it it flattered. I botu two more a 16 and they fit snug but it is what i was looking for. i am plus size and usually have to wear a women's 18/20. these fit my thick legs perfect and i have a thick waist. I can sit with them for a long time and not feel numb. Yes I have purchased old navy ... past that were the wrong size and not accurate and suffered all day. They feel and look like denim but fit so comfortable you will feel like you have yoga pants on. I even washed them and they are even softer. Thanks again Old Navy I am faithful to you guys and you don't disappoint!

Greatest Jeggings
I got the darker denim wash and once you order a size up these jeggings fit perfectly! I had been looking for great jeggings since Gap stopped making the denim ones and was a little hesitant to try the Old Navy ones because I have always had fit problems with ON ... After reading other reviews, I ordered a size up and they are amazing, maybe even better than the Gap ones!

Literally my favorite article of clothing, ever
I was thrilled to find these in stores a few months back, and bought them immediately. It's hard to find items as fashionable as denim leggings in my size, let alone ones that actually look good on me. I literally wore them for two weeks straight after I got them. They are form fitting and slimming your legs/thighs, but still manage to be extremely comfortable. I felt like I was waking up every morning and putting on sweatpants, but without the frumpiness because these pants dress up every outfit & still look like legit ... not leggings. Some denim leggings lack functional pockets, but these are five pocket ... full functionality that still avoid being lumpy (also, they are great for tucking into boots). I wore them so much that I wore holes in them, and was depressed because I hadn't been seeing them in stores, but my greatest wish was granted when I found them in stores again last week! I am so happy Old Navy brought them back, and I have already bought two more pairs and plan on stocking up so I can wear these pants for the rest of my life!

Awesome!
I normally don't buy pants or ... Old Navy anymore because they typically don't fit me right. However, after reading all the positive reviews on the Rockstar Skinny Denim Leggings, I decided to give them a shot.....and I am so glad that I did! These are wonderful. I bought them yesterday at a local Old Navy store in the black color. I took a risk and didn't even try them on. I just bought my regular size. All I can say is that I am going back for another pair! I also plan to buy these in the other 2 colors. These denim leggings are very versatile. You can definitely dress them up or down. I think they would be great tucked into boots too. I can't wait to wear these with a lot of things in my wardrobe! Thanks Old Navy for making me a believer in denim leggings. And please keep making these!

Definitely jeggings
I was looking for skinny ... so I thought I would try these. These were ... leggings and not really denim. I bought the Super Ruby. This wash was a uniform dark blue, and I really wanted more of dark rinsed denim look. I wear a 2 or 4 Tall, and I bought these in the 4 Tall, and they fit perfectly. These ... would be great with boots. Maybe I will try again with a different color....

the denim ones are WAY diffrerent than the black and bright colors!
I wanted to get the bright blue, and tried them on in the store, along with the dark wash denim and the black ones, i got a bunch of sizes because i wanted to compare. the bright blue ones seemed to run smaller, they are a rougher, thinner material. The denim were very soft, thicker and seemed to run true to size, yet quite short for the regular length. the black ones seemed to be the same material as the blue and red ones, thinner and not soft. I got the dark wash denim, as they are perfect for tucking into boots. very comfy and cute.

Great Style
First off...great style...I love the darker finish on ... makes them soo much more versatile. I am also pleased with the quality of the denim. It is a nice weight and has the same detalis as a regular pair of denim ... I've tried so many pair of Jeggings where the fabric was so thin and lacked the detaling. I ordered my regular size and the fit was good except for the length was too short. I'm 6' tall. However I decided to keep them and either cuff them or wear them with tall boots.

Surprisingly flattering!
These are very tight fitting ... not jeggings. They have functioning pockets, a button and working zipper. Not super thick denim (not really denim at all) and they are stretchy so very comfortable and cute. They are low rise, though, but no gapping in the back of the waist. They definitely run a full size small and are short. I'm always an 8 short and got a 10 reg and they fit great. I bought the black. Wish the colors were better- the gray looks like a denim gray but the blue looks like navy blue pants not denim. Versatile, easy to tuck into boots, cute with heels or flats. Also try the skinny flirt. Higher waisted and slightly looser fit.

Perfect Fit
These ... perfect fit on my son. I bought the rest of the denim colors as well. Not only where they a good price but its a great quality!

Love these ...
These ... near identical pair of Banana Republic ... bought two years ago, but way cheaper. True to size, fits comfortably around the waist and groin area. Matches with polo shirts, dress shirts, sweaters--versatile work clothing. I have even got out clubbing in these pants, and done some break dancing moves from back flips, figure four, and I've even done the splits in these; this pair of denim can take a beating and to my surprise no rips or visible wear on this. I've washed this several times, and the colors seem to hold its darkness quite well. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with this if you love dark denim like I do.

Mens ...
My husband loves these ... They fit true to size and comfortable. I love the shade of the denim. They look nice w/ a t shirt or a button shirt for a little more dressy look.

Old Navy vs. Gap
I bought these and also bought Gap 1969 ... recently. In a side by side comparison, the Gap ... have a slightly nicer feeling denim and a slightly better zipper. The two are nearly indistinguishable. Therefore, based on price, I think these are the way to go.

Men''s ...
My boyfriend has a difficult time finding ... fit because he's very tall and thin. During the denim sale at Old Navy, we purchased two pairs of the straight leg ... super reasonable price, and the fit was just perfect. He's very pleased with the quality, look, and fit of the ... We'll definitely return to Old Navy when he needs ... again.

Waist Runs Large
Other reviewers are correct when they warn you the waist runs big on these. I've bought other Old Navy ... over the years, but like all of their products the build quality and materials just seem to get cheaper and cheaper. That might account for the waist getting bigger. The thickness/quality of the denim is very thin now. Regardless of the reason, if you're normally a 32 in most ... get the 31...maybe even the 30. I bought 32's the time before and was swimming in them. This time bought 31's...just got them...still too big...

... sizing
... off lightweight denim, which I personally like. They are true to size in the waist and a good overall fit. The length is ultimately shorter than what would compare to other pants with the same length/sizing. I would recommend ordering the next length to insure proper/satisfying fit after wash.

Nice ... but
Low rise does not permit ... reach waist. Material is rather thin for ... prefer thicker, more robust material. The last ... had from Old Navy were better denim.

Great fit but denim stains
Great fit, but after 4 washes denim still stains hands and anything else the ... run into. DO NOT BUY THESE DARK ... Have lighter colors, they are fine.

Ideal for post pregnancy baby body too!
I should probably mention first that I am not pregnant but I have baby weight from a previous pregnancy that insists on staying. I decided to give these a whirl because I was tired of regular ... fitting everywhere else but not even coming close to buttoning on my stomach or cutting me in two when they did. SO uncomfortable! I got this pant in light denim and also medium wash. LOVE everything about them. Perfect length and all over fit. I had previously bought them in my current ... size (14) and they fit great at first but do stretch out quite a bit as the day goes on. I ordered two other pairs in the next size down and they fit like a dream and are so comfortable! No muffin top and no pinching! *Just for reference when I said I'm a usual size 14- I am 5'6'' and about 168 pounds.*

Fit as Expected
I just got these today and only have tried them on, haven't worn them for a whole day yet. But the material is very soft for denim and they feel as they will be comfortable. The size is exactly the way Old Navy's size charts said it would be. I'm 5'4" and decided to order the regular length from reading other review, but should have probably gotten a short. They're about three to four inches too long on me, but maybe after a few washes they will shrink up enough. As for now I'll have to roll them. For others sizing help, I'm currently 18 weeks and 162 lbs. the size 12 fit loosely but comfortably with enough room to grow.

My Go To Maternity ...
I love these ... so much that I have them in two different washes. The woven waistband is very comfortable and works throughout the pregnancy. They look so cute that most people have no idea they are maternity ... Like most denim out there, they will stretch and become slightly looser with wear, but shrink back to their original state when washed. I did not have a problem with them shrinking too much. I highly recommend these!

Too baggy after wearing them for a few hours...
I like the way these pants are made, and the wash on the denim is nice (although I'm not a big fan of the pockets. I like a little design and these are very plain). I was a size 6 pre pregnancy, but I ordered a size 4 after reading the reviews, which was a good decision b/c the size 4 fit well. The fit was very nice when they were freshly washed, BUT after you wear them for a few hours, they get really baggy! I feel like I have a saggy butt and crotch in them and it is very annoying to have to constantly pull them up. I was going to order these in the darker denim they are available in as well, but I have decided I will not buy another pair b/c they just fit so poorly after wearing them a bit.

Way too big overall
I bought these in my normal ON ... size and they were huge! The ... entirely stretchy denim and by the end of the day, it makes you look like you have a pants load. I would get at least a size down lower than normal. It is nice because there are belt loops to help hold them up for early in the pregnancy, but overall, I was disappointed and only wore them a few times. It's nice they come in different lengths, but that's about the best thing they have going for them. I may break them out during the end of my third trimester, but since just my belly has grown and everything else around it has not, I don't know if they will ever fit comfortably.

Look like normal ...
These look just like normal ... heavy denim is great for winter and I'm sure will soften with a few washes. I plan to roll the bottom cuff for spring. They do tend to slip down a bit, but at 6 months I'll appreciate the growing room later.

Best maternity ... around
I don't like the full panel ... so in my opinion these are the best maternity ... around. They are very comfortable, which is the most important thing when you are pregnant. However, they run a tiny bit on the big side and they do stretch after a while and you will have to pull them up now and then. That's ok. The denim is not too thin not too thick and the color is perfect. They don't look like maternity ... can easily be dressed up or down.

A bit baggy
I started wearing these ... my first trimester since none of my other ... were comfortable to wear. They are rather baggy in the rear, slightly baggy in the crotch area. Not sure if I will be able to fill these pants out before my belly gets too big for them. The denim is pretty soft though.

A comfy ...
These ... nice! They are comfortable (99% cotton, 1% spandex) and the denim color is as described. I was disappointed that the ... inseam actually measures 32.5" rather than 34 as described for the "long" length. I would normally wear a 26/27-34 (long enough for a heeled shoe). I'm 5'7" 120lbs and purchased a size 2 in this maternity ...

Great fit, but..
These ... fit very well. I wore a size 6 ON ... pre pregnancy and ordered a size 6 (at 19 weeks) and they fit great. My only complaint is that the material is of low quality. (I bought the full panel style of ... well from ON and they are not the same of denim, they are a better quality.) But if you are just looking for a pair of ... wear around home, or out and about, then they are just fine.

I purchased these ... wear as regular ... but I did some home improvement and the denim was super rugged. I would like to see some more of you styles in the plus sizes though. The only ... my husband wears...
These happen to be the only ... my husband will wear. He loves them. They wash good and wear good. My only complaint is that he always seems to rip the crotch area. I am not sure if they were constructed of a heavier denim it might help?

Pants were what I expected. Glad to find 36 long length anything. But would like to have purchases 36 length cargo pants in denim or black. Enjoyed cargo pants BEFORE growth spurt - would enjoy them after if could find in 36 length.

The ... fit ok, but the material is not the quality I expected. It's thinner than normal denim, i.e. Levi's.

For the last 16 years I have been buying old navy loose fit ... same size in 3 different cuts.... loose, painters, and carpenter... They are great last a long time i wear them for years till holes form from the denim wearing out before seams bust i wear them for every thing every day of my life... last year for Christmas they had a sale bought 12 pairs 4 of each in all different washes none of these ... fit when i attempted to wear them 6 months later.... these are not skinny ... they should quit trying to make them that way do not call it loose if your gonna cut them smaller i have not gained weight so i am stuck with ... cant return or fit exchange 7 brand new with tags on them this makes me stop shopping your stores when every thing i own is old navy from socks to boxers t shirt dress shirts flops... when i buy ... they don't fit like they have in the past i no longer have a reason to shop your store

These ... were made better a year ago.
I bought a few pairs of ... Old Navy a year ago and they were made from heavier denim with better stitching than the ones I ordered last week. The new pairs just feel like they're going to tear real easy and fall apart. They fit nice and everything, I just don't feel like they're going to last very long.

These are terrible
I ordered these ... my husband recently. In the past he liked the Loose fit from Old Navy and they were a great value and durable while still work appropriate. When he put on these ... he immediately said "this is wrong"--the waist had been lowered significantly, the belt loops attached several inches below the waistband, the thighs were tight and the leg opening was an exaggerated flare. The wash was dingy even in the traditional dark denim. What happened Old Navy? Did you lose sight of your customer for this particular fit? Your core shopper is not always a 20-something clubber or a saggy bottom hipster. Very disappointed. Please bring back a traditional loose fit ... adult set.

Just Right
I'm very particular about my ... therefore I only wear Old Navy's dark denim bootcut ... I'm tall and most brands don't have my size thats why Old Navy Online is my one stop shop for all the bare necessities. The length and cut are exceptional and the dark denim makes the ... wearable to formal and casual events. Nothing compares.

Love these ...
I bought these ... because I've lost some weight and I needed to get some new denim. OMG!!! I lov these ... They fit tight, but not too tight. It's the closes style of ... can get to go for the look I have to have for work and play.

Super!!
Though these ... men, if you have the right figure, they fit great for women! It is wonderful to have a 100% cotton fabric, without any spandex and a heavy weight denim! it reminds me of the ... wore when I was a teenager and early 20's, as a woman had to buy men's ... back then! I bought three pairs in different washes and many of my girlfriends are about to do the same thing!

Really nice ...
These ... aren't the ON "premium" label, but the fit is the same. The denim is a little stiffer and less soft than the others, which I am hoping will improve after more washings, but my son likes them and the look.

These are great ... little dressier look for your man. It accents areas more than say the carpenter pant. Great denim color!

... were well made, are very sturdy. They are well priced, [...]. The color was a nice denim blue and it didn't have any unusual fade spots.

Nice form fitting
I can't do the skinny ... business, frankly dont get the fad to look like a girl. These ... great, form fitting for a man, plenty of room in the right places, but none of that baggy teenager look. By far quickly one of my favorite pair of ... Only small negative but it's a positive because I was looking for ... summer; they are not thick denim. These are not the old Levis style that weigh a good bit, they are light and comfortable, so don't think of wearing these when its 20 degrees out.

You get what you pay for.
The ... worth the price, but not by much. The denim is thin and the zipper just feels flimsy. They fit well, but the boot cut on the bottom of the leg is too big in my opinion. I always wear boot cut ... compared these to all my others. OldNavy boot cut ... were 1" wider at the bottom of the leg then my largest boot cut ... think I will have to bring them in and have them taken in about an inch and a half. They look more like bell bottom ... than a boot cut ...

These ... not worth [$] The denim material is fairly thin and doesn't feel like it will last a long time. But my biggest complaint is the length. They are advertised as a 36" length, bu when measured, they are barely 35". This is a big deal for someone who is 6'5". Normally I fit into a 36" length, but Old Navy pants seem to fall short. The same thing happened a few years ago - I had ordered 4 pairs of 36" length and they we all different lengths ranging from 34 1/4" to 35 3/4" pants. I thought that they might have corrected this disparity by now. Perhaps they need new tape measures at the factory. Otherwise, they need to start advertising these as 35" length.

Its OK nothing mind blowing
I have tried many brands, but OLD navy was never in my top 5 list. this ... not thick enough and does not have that natural rugged denim look, its a little upgraded version of daily casual wear. The fitting is definitely a problem, I would recommend ordering atleast an inch more of your waist size for a decent fit or else its going to be tight. I had to exchange for a next size.

way shorter than the straight denim!
My son is 6 ft 5 so finding ... long enough is difficult. I ordered the bootcut denim and the straight leg denim in a size 34/36 inseam, the straight leg denim was great and true to size, nice and long. The bootcut denim same size, was about 2 or 3 inches shorter! This is frustrating because now I have to send back the bootcut pair and exchange it for another in the straight denim. I don't understand why the bootcut pair is so much shorter. Anyway, if you're looking for long length in the bootcut either order them longer (something I can't do, they don't come any longer than 36!) or stick to the the straight demin that is true to size.

Awesome ...
I was looking for black skinny ... Old Navy store, but could only find them online. I already owned a dark denim pair of the Diva Skinny ... so I was confident the fit would be the same. When they arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how soft the denim was and how comfortable they were. I also had a promotional code from the Old Navy emails I receive daily whose discount ultimately paid for the shipping. Great buy!

I bought these ... recently at the outlet in North Conway, NH on sale. I expected to have to return them like all the other ... buy either because they were too long or not true to size, but these ... fit like no other !! They are true to size, and definitely flatter your body. They are extremely comfortable and I can tuck them perfectly into my boots (which I also bought at Old Navy)- overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and plan to buy more once I lose a few pounds from holiday overeating !!!! I love the color of them as well ( dark denim) you will love these ...

New Favorites!
I'm a college student whose going through that bumpy transition from junior's sizing and into misses. When I decided to take a chance on these ... because I loved the Delia's and Bullhead skinny ... I'd been buying, but I found that I desired a more flattering, higher rise. These ... did that beautifully! I was elated with the premium, dark rinse denim. Though when I first saw the two tone top stitching on the ... little worried about how they'd mesh with all my outfits-- like, if they'd stand out too much-- I've found that the ... fit very well with every one of my outfits, whether I dress up or down. Also, I bought this is in a 12 Long and when I pulled them out of the box I thought maybe they were too long (I'm 5"6, if that helps), but they come all the way down to my heel and that is extremely flattering. All in all, they are my new favorites! The Divas are on trend while still being flattering-- just perfection!

My favorite pants
These are wonderful!! I have them in the black, dark denim, and the lighter denim. They are extremely comfortable and they look great. I tried the sweetheart skinny ... before buying these and these are fit me so much better. I tell everyone to get a pair because of how great they are. I'm 5'2 and 116 pounds- a size 2 short fits me perfectly. Even though they say skinny ... would say they are closer to a straight leg ... but even so they look fantastic.

more nice ...
Very nice. They fit one size large. I am a standard size 4 (27 waist size, 33 inseam) and I buy these in a size 2 long. 2 long is almost impossible to find in store but my several pairs mail ordered have been consistent. ON should offer their best denim, like these, in more washes, in all their sizes. For example, the 2 long in the darker blue wash which is sold out/unavailable. Wash /dry inside out to minimize wear of the cotton/poly denim. Tailored looking for work and attractive enough for life in general :) As an alternative I have the mens' skinny which are 99% cotton, heavier denim, and made in more washes. Longer rise, however (for guys).

I love these ...
I love everything about these ... have them in black and dark denim. Though the black seem to fit tighter than the dark denim, they are still a great pair of ... any outfit or occasion. Great with heels, flats, boots, sneakers, just about anything! I love these ... lot!

Not exactly a skinny in my size, but love these, nonetheless!
Recently, I've gotten two pairs of these ... overall, I LOVE them. During the sale on ... decided to try on all the different styles and I loved these from the time I put them on. I'm usually a consistent size 20 in both ON and Gap ... these were true to my size. There was a tiny bit of gap in the back of the ... but it wasn't a deal breaker. As usual, which is my big flaw with ... legs fit well and were flattering, but the leg opening was more like a skinny straight, and not a true skinny leg. For a true skinny leg though, I think I'll try the denim leggings. At 5'5", the regular inseam was just a tad long, but I like to roll up the bottoms and wear them with cute flats or sandals. I wear these with everything because they're so comfortable and flattering! Overall, an awesome pair of ... add to your wardrobe.

Not so skinny!
I was super excited to receive these ... Lately, I have been a big fan of Old Navy skinny ... cords. In the past, I usually buy brand names denim. Not anymore, Old Navy has really stepped it up with their ... So you can see why I was so excited to get these. To my dismay, the size I normally get, 4 Short, was too baggy! They fit more like boyfriend ... eg, baggy and boxy. If you want that look, they are perfect for that. However, I like my ... skinny and fitting. I am 5' 0 ", 112 lbs. I guess these skinny ... supposed to fit differently. I just got a pair of the Rock Star Leggings, size 4 Short, they are perfect and I will stick twith them.

hm..
I love the way these ... make your leg look. I especially like the leg opening. These skinny ... aren't those ridiculously skin tight ... see hipster [*] wearing, but rather they're the perfect median between that and straight legged ... problem I have with these ... rise isn't low at all. I wear American Eagle ... quite frequently and I love their rise and not so much their leg opening. SO if Old Navy and American Eagle combined, I feel you would have the perfect ... have short legs and these ... definitely make my legs look longer. HOWEVER, the denim isn't the best there is. They're not very breathable ... don't really know how to describe it...

Need to return this!
I thought this pants is good for me, unfortunately, the size is too big than expected. I though of skinny will be a somewhat stretchy too:) So, I decided to order sz. 4 petite but comes out loose and not good for my legs. Also, I noticed that all GAP/ON pants now are made of thin denim unlike before that it has a good quality denim fabric that will lasts for an 'affordable price'.

Disappointed.
I've been buying ... Old Navy in the Diva rise pretty much since they came out--they've been my go to ... since high school. I've got a pair of skinny ones that are my absolute favorite pair of ... but they're starting to wear through in the thigh area--accursed chub rub. I figured I'd buy a replacement pair, since I haven't in a while, and--oh the crushing disappointment. I bought these in an 18 Petite, and they were huge on me. The rise is distinctly higher, they fit much looser, and they just feel cheap. I've also noticed an issue with the color of the picture on the website not matching the color of the actual ... ALL. Be advised that the Cuperno ... showed up at my door were a very traditional blue ... color, not the faded wash they appear to be, and the Authentic are a fairly dark wash, closer to how the Rinse appears on the website. (Though the Cuperno ... were of a heavier denim and closer to the old style Divas--the fit was still more unflattering than my fav. pair.) It looks like I'm going to have to figure out where to find my next favorite go to ...

I love skinny ... but as a 11/12 they don't all look good on me, especially those made of stiff denim. I usually wear super stretchy denim for comfort but decided I needed a thicker pair of comfortable ... tried the Diva and the Sweetheart skinny- the Sweetheart was much more flattering. More room in the hip/rear. I chose the Long length since I'm 5'9" and have a ~33" inseam... it's a pet peeve of mine when ... too short. I will agree that the waistband stretches out a bit over time, so it's possible that one could size down, though I didn't try. These are skinny but not tooooo tight, pretty flattering taper to the ankle. If you're curvy, I would recommend this fit.

Sweetheart Skinny
The ... great, the dark denim run a little shorter than the regular blue denim. Just wish they would come out with more than 2 colors and styles for the sweetheart skinny. I am very tall and it is hard to find skinny ... fit and are long enough. I just get sick of going in old navy and all the skinny ... ripped and in light blue and black are extra below the waist or not in long.

Gray Are Cute, But Different Material!
I originally bought these at an ON store in the gray because that was the only color in my size. They were super comfy, soft, and stretchy. Then I ordered another pair in the dark rinse online. The gray ones are made with different material ratios, making them softer, thinner, and stretchier than regular denim. This makes them more comfortable but after ONE DAY of wearing them they started to wear out in the area where my thighs rub together (I wear a size 18 and I'm a curvier woman). It got those little pills in the area where the fabric started to wear out. I LOVE them but I'm afraid to wear them too much because I don't want them to wear out! The rinse color is made with regular denim so they are sturdier, but also they have less stretch and aren't as soft. If your thighs don't rub together definitely go for the gray, otherwise stick with the regular denim colors.

love sweetheart ...
I'm a huge fan of the Sweetheart ... skinny ... didn't disappoint. I've got the darker denim and the grey (which apparently aren't available online anymore). The grey ... come in a much more flexible fabric, while the dark wash are definitely traditional denim. Either way, they've become a part of my go to wardrobe.

Definitely size down!
I just bought a pair of these ... gray this morning. I just tried them on and they're way too loose! The regular denim Sweethearts start out snug and then loosen up. These are baggy right out of the gate! I'm going to exchange them for the next size down. They're a much lighter weight than the denim -- more khaki ish weight. The color is nice and they will look so much better when they're tighter. I normally wear a size 16 in this style and they're extremely saggy in the crotch and on the thighs.

These are our favorite jeans!
These are a purrrfect fit - - don't make my honey man look too thick legged nor too thin. They fall down the leg nicely; no pitching or odd pulling of the denim; they cover/frame his bum just so. Great pockets! Nice denim colors and texture; not a lot of bleeding for the darker color; doesn't feel too thin in terms of denim thickness, yet sturdy enough without feeling stiff. We love 'em - - just bought 5 pairs!

i'm 38, so the low rise thing took getting used to. love it now, love that the hammer loop holds my iPhone in a showcase perfectly! like the belt loops with whatever you call the double loop thingy, very handy for keeping my keys, without looking like a total toolbox! the '08 fit differs from the '09, because Old Navy changes the cut anually (or so I'm told) as does the design. i have 5 pairs of the '06 painter design as well, and after some acclimation, like the newer ones best! still love the oldies, though. thought i'd never wear Old Navy, because I hated the ad campaign. i have to say though, hands down the best value out there in denim, as well as cargo shorts. i haven't even come close to wearing out a pair of Old Navy ... have only worn about 5 out of my fifteen pairs. yeah, when you get older, you tend to stockpile what you love. i've worn ... have cost me $70 before, these never cost more than $29!

Husband loved ''em
I purchased these ... my husband and he loves 'em. He had me order another pair because he liked them so much. They look nice, are made of good quality denim and are comfortable for him.

Finally
After 3 out of the last 5 pair I've bought of this style not fitting right, the last 4 I just ordered fit perfectly. Now they're back to being painters ... instead of plumbers ... denim also seems a bit thicker.

Great ...
Wow! these ... all I expected which almost never happens. The all cotton denim is not too thick and stiff and not too thin but just right, soft, pliable texture, comfortable. The stitching is well done. The strap and work pockets are extras but if needed can be put to work...they blend in and are hardly noticable.

Will buy these again!
Just what I was looking for! My son in-law needs ... wider leg. These were perfect...true to size...and soft comfortable denim. Will definitely buy these again!

Pleasant suprise!!!
After reading all of the negative reviews, I was a little apprehensive, but decided to order them anyway. They are a great pair of ... They are low rise with wide legs, exactly what I was looking for. The only complaint I have, is that I wish the material was a little softer. I'm used to wearing AE loose fit that have very soft denim, but since they decided to cut that line, I had to find a different pair of ... Thank you Old Navy for carrying Big sizes, it is nice to know that not all companies frogot about us fat kids...

Bad quality and Badly designed (What Happened Old Navy)
Dear Old Navy,Your ... tailored to fit well. But: The ... poorly designed. Also, the denim is of poor quality as well. One thing that I used to admire about Old Navy is that the clothes (at one time) were of pretty decent quality for the price. Now, The ... don't look designer. They have a as plain as can be back pockets (no design) and the colors and denim are not to impressive. Old Navy, step your game up. I guarantee that sales would increase if your designers are more creative especially with the jeans.Thanks, Joe

Man, did they mess these up!
I have quite a few pairs of these ... bought a few years ago. Loved them. Then it came time to replace them so I ordered a couple of pairs. They fit, but the cut and fabric has changed drastically. I wore one pair once and the cheaper, thinner denim ripped. I'm sending them back. Too bad Old Navy USED to make the best ... out there.

Bring Back The Old Style
I cannot wear the new mens painters ... They are nothing like the pairs I have from 2007 and 2008. They are way to tight and that is the last thing you want in a loose fitting pair of ... Not sure who at Old Navy is designing these ... but they may want to look for another line of work. I just bought four new pair and will be taking them back immediately. Please change back to the way they were like so many others have requested. If not, I will have to start looking elsewhere and I have worn Old Navy denim for over ten years.
