Great dress pants!
Love ON dress pants! They hold up so well! I have had some of mine for years now. The only thing I would change about these pants is put a little stretch into them. Most ON dress pants use to all have stretch in them, but these don't. But overall they are great dress pants for the office.

Great Slacks!
These are great slacks. First, let me start by saying that I'm 5'6" and wear a size 12. In the past I've found that ON cuts ... skirts a bit on the large side. So, when purchasing these slacks I bought a pair in my size and a smaller one--to triangulate the size. I was pleasantly surprised that the 12 fit perfectly. The hips, and rear are flattering but not figure hugging!! These are true straight legged ... flat front pockets are perfect for giving a nicely put together silhouette and the cuffs don't drag the floor when I'm wearing flats. I found that the waist was around an inch larger than me (but I chalk that up to some recent weight loss). I love these these slacks.

Impressed
I was a little reluctant to order dress pants from ON, because I feared the fabric would be cheap. I was pleasantly surprised to find the quality to be great for the money. Stretchy, comfortable, and not too thin. I ordered these dress pants in oatmeal in my normal size of 18 short. These pants do run a little big. I actually think I could have worn a 16, but I kept them because I wasn't sure how they would wash. They wash wonderfully and don't shrink. I will definitely be ordering another pair in brown and will likely go with a size down!!!

Very nice ... slacks

I truly love these ... They are comfortable and highly versatile. ... them up with a snazzy blouse and some heels or be casual with a t shirt and some flats. I buy a new pair of black, grey and brown every couple of years. These are a true staple in my closet. For a while I couldn't find them (did O.N. stop selling these?) but I am so grateful that they are back now. And at this price I may just stock up with extra pairs for the future. A definite must have for your wardrobe.

Another winner
These are great dress pants. I love them because they are machine washable. I am 5ft3 and wear a size 14. I ordered the petite and they are perfect. I bought the grey and tan pants and they really look nice. Great value too. I plan to wear them to work but you could dress them down with flip flops or sandals.

Great pants, but you may want to order one size up
I usually buy a size 6 in womens ... slacks and a 7/9 depending on the style of pants or jeans in the juniors section at Old Navy. This particular material did not give a lot of movement in the inseam/crotch area, though the pant fit perfect everywhere else, and as someone who is constantly moving about on the go at work, I need a pant that moves with me, not fights me. So I called the 1-800 number and ordered a size up to an 8. Rep was super helpful, and that extra size did add a little extra rise in the crotch area, not a significant change in the hip/rear, but did add a little extra looseness to the pant leg. Was able to do refund at the local Old Navy for the size 6.

I am a 53 year old 5'6" 128 lbs with a pretty much straight up and down, no hips and a little bit of booty figure who avoids heels. I ordered these in a 4 tall and they were a full 36" inseam, too long to hem without ruining the leg opening, and too full through the hip and thigh. Exchanged for a 2 regular. Hip area is still a bit roomy but wearable especially so because the rise isn't baggy and long and I usuually wear a longer jacket which covers the hip area. Length just touches floor in bare feet which is the curse of the 5'6" woman and I will have to let out the hem to lengthen. There is VERY LITTLE fabric left in the hem so additional hem tape will have to be added : / On the positive side...considering the price these pants are a great deal! Cute design and better tailoring and quality than I would expect as well as a nice well draping fabric. Nice fabric re enforcement on the inside waistband makinking them crisp and stable. For the price plus a little tailoring I have three pair of decent fashionable work ... rather than one $100 dollar pair of upscale basic ... slacks. Plus Old Navy customer service allows exchanges at no charge. Some comments on back pocket flap baffle me. I find they lay flat, add a nice detail, and look to be able to be opened into the actual pocket if desired. I can see how they may stick out if ... worn with a tighter fit in which case they could easily be tacked down. In all, an afforadable fashionable choice for everyday workwear .

When will long really mean long?
I really liked the way these slacks fit. However they did not come close to living up to being "Long," especially for a wide leg style. The hem didn't even hit the top of my shoes. Finding ... slacks and jeans that are long enough is a HUGE challenge/hassel for me. What i wouldn't give if the designers, who provide the "Long" option, knew what long really was. Think 35-36 inch inseam, please.

Too bad these are SOOOOOOO short
I am 5'5" and I have NEVER had a problem with the regular lengths at ON until ... slacks. They are WAY TOO SHORT especially since they are so flared. I can't imagine who could wear ... if they are anything over 5'2" tall. And that is the regular length. Usually if I get the tall, they drag on the ground so I'm not taking any chances. It's a shame that the sizes are really not consistent with ON stuff. I've had this problem with some jeans as well but ... were terrible. Nothing about ... flattering so back they went.
