foldover pants - reviews
AWESOME for TALL girls! ANY SHAPE! These ... absolute greatest bang for the buck. Normally when shopping for yoga ... shop at Victoria's Secret. Because I need a longer inseam (I'm 6'0") I know that VS will have the 36" length I need. Well, THANK YOU OLD NAVY for providing these ... great price point that takes into account all shapes and sizes! I purchased a few pairs of the full length and a few pairs of the capri, both in fold over style. Now I must say, I do not fold them over - so I cannot speak to how they may or may not ride up, but the fabric is sturdy and I do not see an issue with it. I do not tuck, I wear tank tops to work out on top of the ... so the higher waist band (without foldover) is not only fine but prevent panty peek when contorting during exercise. Compared to VS I was shocked at the quality of this fabric. VS yoga is very thin and they fade in the wash quickly. Now I have not washed these yet but the fabric is much heavier than expected - not too heavy - just quality and feels quality. I am also at the heaviest I've ever been so I needed to purchase the plus size ... They fit and flatter perfectly. One thing about the yoga ... there are some reviews that say they don't hug the leg like a typical yoga ... does. I would say that is true, they are a bit wider, but for [$] to wear to the gym or around town I am more than fine with that. They still do have a bit of a boot style flair and nicely hug the thighs and hips - it's just through calves that they are a bit wider. The only thing I might say about these ... croch does seem to hang a bit low. Now because I wear them without folding them over I pull them up high, so it is not a problem for me, but I can see how some people may have a problem with it. Not a deal breaker for me... I'll be back for more AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND especially given the price! Don't think you can go wrong for [$]!!!
A staple in my wardrobe! I have worn Old Navy black foldover yoga ... years and just ordered a few more to replace my older pairs. To me, these are actually better made than the older yoga ... they are as well made or better made than my [...] foldover yoga ... mistakenly ordered the tall length before I checked the inseam on the regular. As someone who's 5'7", I would've been fine ordering the regular length. The tall will work for when I wear shoe boots with these. I wear these ... all year long. I wear them around the house in the summer with tees, and I wear them all winter. Awesome ... awesome price!
LOVE these ... I'm 5'7" and can never find casual yoga/hangout ... long enough. I've always preferred ... too long over too short even though I'm only slightly taller than average. I found these ... online in Long and they are awesome! I got them in medium and they look great and are so comfortable. I wear them to the gym, grocery shopping, hanging out, and on long car rides. I wish I could wear them to work! The foldover waist is flattering and ... make my butt look great! If I had to think of a downside it would be that ... attract pet hair when I'm at my friends' houses but it comes off with a lint roller.
Will buy another pair! Love ... yoga ... I'm 5'2 and 128 lbs ... fit in length with tennis shoes on perfectly. I wear a size small petite. ... my third pair of old navy foldover yoga ... my other ones I have had for years and still hold up with alot of wash and wear. I will keep buying ... long as ... make them! ... so comfortable, i wear them at home, jogging, going out for errands, cant get any more comfortable than ... also fluctuate in weight from 124-129 and when I am at a lower weight ... still fit perfectly as ... stretchy when i gain weight! and the price it right from compared to the other yoga ... out there and great quality too!
Tall Foldover Yoga ... - Not all colors have black ... I do love these even though they're too long. I'm 5'9.5" with long legs and most of my life have weighed 134, at 172 currently :/ but it feels so great to have something that's too long that I am entirely unable to complain about LENGTH! Who cares, you can always hem them. I ordered a tall medium and have listed them as being too long/big/loose only because I recently have had to wear a size large tall in Champion brand and ordered the medium per the reviews, so do buy these at least one size smaller, they absolutely run big. I ordered one each of the red/green/blue foldover styles and love the fit of the red and the crisp look of the true black ... legs, (even though I dislike Old Navy printed on the butt, I will try the acetone to remove it as one other buyer did) -- HOWEVER, even though the photos clearly show that each of the red/green/blue foldover designs have black on the bottom, ONLY the red did, (by the way, the red I received is more of a bright red with 'orange' tinge and not the darker, 'blue' red undertones). Hard to match. The other two foldover colors, green and blue, arrived having charcoal gray bottoms, definitely not black. Way too challenging to match tops to a color PLUS a shade of charcoal gray vs. black - so I am sending them back and getting the all black ones, to be safe. You would think that by my call in a few weeks ago to explain their advertising error would have caused someone to go in clarify that difference in the advertisement. I'll give them that they got back to me in an an email clarifying the gray color but for heaven's sake, THEY DID NOT update their website! Don't order the blue or green unless you want to take the chance that they are charcoal gray bottoms. I say it that way because I noticed that someone else ordered the blue (not sure if it was petite, average or tall) but the way she wrote the review, it appeared that she received a blue pair with the black on the bottom - maybe it was a manufacturer error on the talls?? I wish I knew if that were true and how she managed to get them with the black. Bottom line, if you don't want to take chances, just order the full black foldover, they'll go with more things, anyway.
Updated style; not as flattering The older style foldover waist ... had a slightly flared leg and a lower foldover waist. The current version has a straight and looser legs and and extremely high waist. The waistband, when unrolled almost comes up to the bottom of my chest and when folded down folds all the way till the crotch. OLD NAVY, please bring back the older stylepants. Those could be dressed up or down. These are more like lounge wear and too loose for yoga.
Even the "Talls" are too short It is hard to find ... long enough for me. I love that Old Navy has "Long" and even "Tall" sizes. Unfortunately, "Tall" sizes are only sold online, so I never know what I'm getting until it comes in the mail. I got these ... "Tall" size. When I put them on, they barely hit my ankles. They are "foldover" style, so I'm guessing the 36 inch inseam was measured before the ... folded. I gave them to my mom, and they are even too short for her. They will be cut and hemmed into capris! If you want long ... don't get these! There are tons of other longer ... site to choose from.
