foldover skirt - reviews
I wish I would have bought it sooner! I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and a pre pregnancy size 6. Usually in bottoms I'd order a medium, but I have a very small bump, so I ordered a small and it's PERFECT. I'm sure I'll be able to wear it through my 3rd trimester and even after pregnancy. The fabric is SOOO soft and comfortable. It's longer in the back but that's so you can sit it higher in the back and wear the foldover part under your bump. I like to wear it with the slub v neck t shirts (which I own in every color and in 2 sizes!). If you're thinking about getting it, do it!
LOVE IT!! such a perfect skirt, i'm going to get it in brown now. i'm 5 foot 3 inches, and this comes to just below my knee, so it's a good length. swischy material lays very nicely. foldover band is super comfortable, and i'm looking forward to using it as my belly gets bigger.
I want to live in this skirt! This was a great buy! I wore a size 4-6 skirt before pregnancy, and I'm now 17 weeks, and this skirt is awesome. I'm just at the point where I can't button my normal pants, so this skirt is a life saver! It looks great, doesn't wrinkle, is super comfortable, and was the perfect length for me (right at knee length and I'm 5'4"). Also, you can pretty much put the waistband wherever you want with the foldover top.
This skirt is just perfect! I have been wearing the regular size M ON foldover skirt through my 1st and 2nd trimesters, but now in my 3rd, that skirt was getting a bit small, so I ordered this maternity one. It is really comfortable and you can either wear it folded over, or use the foldover panel unfolded if you want tummy coverage like I do. This will be good for using after I have baby as well. Can be worn casually every day, or wear it with a dressier top for going out.
Love it! This skirt is so comfortable, I wish I had gotten it earlier in my pregnancy! Now in my third trimester- where nothing is very comfortable this skirt is perfectly made to fit. The foldover panels do not add pressure to my lower abdomen and it's so flattering! It's a staple of my attire!
Super comfy and great for the hot summer months I really like these foldover ... bought the coral one (size small...usually I would go with medium, but the small fits perfectly) and then decided to go ahead and get the black one, too. The coral one is pretty see through, so be sure you have some nude underwear so that you're not showing off your drawers to the world. Otherwise, I highly recommend these ... hot summer days!
Super comfy I think this fabric is so comfy. I used to have some maternity gauchos from Old Navy made from this fabric. The gauchos did develop a bit of pilly texture, from *love*, but it's worth it. The one caveat is if you have young children--BEWARE--this thing will come off you if they yank on it! I suppose this is true of a lot of low rise maternity wear. You can smooth the foldover panel all the way up, giving you more "yank length." I think I will plan on wearing this with a belly band, just in case! The skirt does not look asymmetrical in the photo--wish Old Navy would fix that. It took me a minute to decide about the asymmetry. In the end I believe it will help camouflage the weird length problems you can get with ... your bump grows--you know, making sure the back is the same length as the front. I do agree with a previous poster about the seam going down the back. There are side seams and a back seam. Seems unnecessary and I hope it doesn't do anything weird to my widening rear . But I'd buy it for comfort alone! True to prepreg size--will work all 9 months!
Great basic piece This skirt is very soft and comfortable and because its a foldover you can wear it the entire pregnancy. I can't say enough about this skirt. Runs true to size too.
Great wardrobe staple! I bought this ... brown and black and am very pleased. The foldover panel gives you the option of wearing it more as a panel or flip in over to sit under your belly. I'm 19 weeks now and have a newly noticeable bump, so folding it works best for me at this stage. I definitely see that I'll be able to wear this throughout my pregnancy, and even after I deliver in June. It pairs nicely with tight/leggings and boots during these cold months, but can easily imagine wearing a t shirt and flip slops with it as well. Maybe I didn't read the description well, but I was somewhat surprised to notice the slight asymmetrical cut of the hem (shorter in front, somewhat longer in back). It is very slight, however, and I couldn't even tell once it was on. At this price, this is a great addition to any maternity wardrobe!
Love it!! Love this ... So lightweight and comfortable. Can be worn with a tank or dressed up. The foldover panel makes it wearable throughout pregnancy. I'm 21 weeks and still fold it down, but will pull it up when my stomach is larger.
Old Navy Maternity Foldover Skirt I'm five months along and ordered my pre pregnancy size as recommended, and it was very large and loose on me, despite the fact I gained quite a bit of weight. This might be more suitable for pregnant women closer to the end of pregnancy, because it was just very large for someone only halfway along. I ended up buying the regular foldover skirt and it fits perfectly over my pregnant belly.
