The problem was the ... ordered them in Slim the first time, in Regular the second time, and there was a huge difference. Regular was way too big and at least 3 inches longer. Many ... were sold out, so I hope I'll find them again this spring on the Old Navy website - in other colors as well!!

I had to sneak in her room to take them for laundry! I got ... "Back to School" staple for ... 10 yr old. She went through a growth spurt over the summer, and I hoped ... would ... ok in her legs. Not only did ... but ... her better than I even anticipated otherwise! I ordered her a 12Plus, thinking she would need the room for her tummy and tush in skinny ... but oh no,no,no! ... would have been perfect in a 12 reg., so I now know that ... must run a little big to begin with. That's ok, as she simply will not take them off! I had to sneak into her room to grab them for laundry, that's how comfy she is in them! I shall buy the reg ... now, seeing that ... give her plenty of room. I am now going to order more for ... other 2 ... then off the the men's store for ... boys!

Love these Jeans These jeans are Fantastic!!!! I bought these jeans for my daughter who is 8 years, i bought them in a size 10 slim. She is curvy on the back side~these jeans fit her like a glove. They come down below the belly button like she likes and above the backside for what i like!! She can wear them with her flip flops for a casual look or wear them with high heels for that dressed up look. They are very durable, they are just great. A wide variety of colors so looks are endless.

nice jeans I bought these for my daughter, she is a size 12plus in arizona jeans but these are cut smaller. I had to send back and i received the replacement size 14plus in about 2 weeks. good fit and good value
I ordered two pairs of these jeans at different times. The first pair fit great. The second pair, even though it was the same size, was way too long. I measured both pair of jeans and the second pair is 3 inches longer than the first pair. Old Navy needs to fix the problem and they offered no compensation or suggestions on what to do. I ordered both pair online since my husband is serving in the military overseas. Customer Service was no help at all.
Confused about size comparison I was certain that these would be perfect since my daughter has another pair with the same description details...relaxed through hip and thigh. These were way too tight which makes no sense since she has another pair the same size that are described as low rise and slim through the thighs that fit just fine! I love the quality and style of Old Navy but from my experience the jeans ... really vary by style so it's hit or miss.
Wrong ... Ordered a size 6 in little ... they sent me 6 plus! Not the first time this has happened :(

Boot Cut Jeans Great Buy! What a great buy on these jeans. My daughter rides horses and its hard to find jeans that are boot cut and Not low waisted. These are perfect. Very true to size. We love them and don't have to worry about a plumber's crack!! They sit right at the hip, the tabs are perfect for growing ... We don't wear anything else.

GOOD FIT FOR PRE TEEN These are true to size and appropriate for young ... They are made to fit according to the popular styles WITHOUT being way too snug or low cut. Hard to find jeans for my 11 year old daughter, most of them are made to be too tight, etc. She is happy and so am I.

Great Jeans!!! My oldest daughter wears plus size clothing for ... However, every other store I go to carries a very limited collection or they ... run either too small or too big. I LOVE Old Navy and Gap for all my daughter's clothing needs. I can always trust that the clothing will fit and be of great quality. These jeans are not the exception. They are great!! Too Small I was hoping the 16 plus would fit my daughter since I bought her the same size in a pair of GAP jeans. Never the less, they are too tight in her thighs and butt. The waist had plenty of room though. I will be exchinging these for another pair of GAP jeans.
Too Long! What the heck Old Navy? My kid needs a little extra room in the waist/hips not length in the legs. That's called a LONG not a PLUS. Sticking with Gap for plus size jeans - well worth the extra cost if they actually fit. I gave 2 stars becasue I actually really like the stle of the jeans - they were cute - wish they had fit.

go up a size! These shorts are great for my little ... She's 4 and she wears a size 5 but I bought size S b/c ALL Old Navy stuff runs small. I didn't have a problem with them being too short b/c my little one isn't very tall but I can see how it would be a problem on a true to size 6 year old. I'm a teacher and I can pretty much say without a doubt these would NOT be allowed in school. They are cute summer shorts and will work great over swimsuits for older kids. They work great as everyday shorts for the younger variety.
great casual shorts These shorts are cozy and fit my 7 year old daughter true to size in a size 8. They are on the short side, but not inappropriate. Perfect for hot summer days. These are quickly becoming her favorite go to shorts.
Order a size up!!! I ordered several pairs of these shorts for my daughter to wear around the house and for bedtime (paired with ON tank tops). Based on previous reviews, I ordered a Large (10-12) for my daughter instead of her regular size Medium (8). I am glad I followed that advice! The shorts are short, but not too bad a size larger. They will be perfect for the summer and playing.
Alright... These shorts definitely ARE NOT too short. I'm actually 16 and I bought this in a plus size (to save money) and to wear to sports practice. If I bend over my butt doesn't show. These shorts are a little too high rise for my style so I fold them over once more.

Order UP My daughter was in between ... ordered these. Having read the reviews, I ordered the size she was "growing into." Turns out, I should have ordered even one size larger. They fit, but not in the super comfy way I was hoping they would for summer sleepwear and swimsuit cover up. I'll be returning them, and may re order a larger size if they're on sale next time I order something else. Also, the fabric was a little thicker than i anticipated. They seem like durable shorts for play, sleep, etc.
Cute I ordered the seahorse, pink tropical flowers, and flamingos for my 9 year old. She is 54 lbs and I ordered size med. Though they are a bit loose in the waist, they will be fine. (The way the elastic is sewn into the waistband, they cannot be altered to be smaller. I usually have a prob with everything being too loose at her waist.) I don't think a smaller size would work because the inseam would prob be too short. I ordered slub knit ruffled tanks to go with them, and they look fresh and cute together. They laundered nicely, and only shrank a touch or not at all.
Size up I think these shorts are great, but definitely SIZE UP. I never believe people when I read to size up on reviews, but my daughter usually wears a 7 in shorts (and a 7 is usually large on her). These are too little. They fit, but they are way short and ride up. I think the medium (8) would've been better. But cute style and way great price!
Plua sizes are huge!!I bought a plus size for my daughter (she is skinny, but between ... jrs ... thought the plus would be SLIGHTLY larger than regular ... XXL plus, I was able to put on (not pretty, but could still pull them all the way on) and I wear a size 8 in misses!!

Loose I went with the comments here to get one size up, and I was wrong. It was loose. I went to exchange it at an ON store for my daughter's actual size, but it was still loose. If your child is on the slim side, I suggest you go to an ON and try it on before buying.

Inconsistent ... While ... daughter absolutely LOVES ... she initially hated ... super ... she got ... Christmas gift last year. Now, she will only wear ... super ... so I bought ... another pair in store and while the ... she got last year ... 7, ... daugher is now 7 years ... average height and weight at approx 54lbs, approx 49inches tall) now ... VERY snug, ... have some stretch ... look too tight to be comfortable (she insists ... comfortable), I bought ... another pair of the black super ... up just to leave room for growth. Well the ... 8, ... like regular ... only because the leg does not have a boot cut, otherwise ... like the boot cut ... there's too much room at the waist (even with the adjustable waist pulled in as much as it could be), the legs are not ... like the other super ... actually are quite baggy and just don't offer the ... look that we had hoped for. So we went to get the ... 7 and ... really didn't ... any better and because she is growing, the length looked like it wouldn't last too long ... overall, ... didn't look as baggy ... were still surprisingly loose around the waist and leg) and the ... such, that she could wear now while we wait for ... grow into ... 8 super skinnyjeans (which may be a while with all the extra room). Very low waist Yikes - these pants sat VERY low on my daughter's waist/hips! Not sure that look is appropriate at any age, but certainly not for the elementary school set. My 8 yr old is a little curvy and doesn't typically need a "plus" ... but since these are super skinny, we went with the plus this time. They did fit fine in the length and the through the legs, but the waistband just sat so very low on her bottom that she said she wasn't comfortable - and we could see a whole lot of her underwear hanging out. I shop at Old Navy for all three of my chidren, I always buy the slim fit for my oldest daughter and my son, I was dissapointed to find that the slim fit only goes up to a size 12, I would like to see it go to a 16 like the plus size. It is very hard to find clothes for my 10 year old who is 5ft 5 and very slender. I am sure other people have the same problem with this transition size from childrens to adults.

I returned them and got a 6reg and they are way too big in the waist and hips, even with the adjustable waist tightened. Size 5's are too short on her. There is a big difference in the lenths between ... 5 and 6 which doesnt make sense because kids dont grow 3 inches at a time. They are great ... far as quality, price, and over all cuteness. My advice is to try them on in the store if possible.

awesome pants I was horrified when my PUBLIC school went to a "standardized dress code" which barely is a step above actual uniforms. I didn't want a boxy look of "uniform" pants and skirts because my ... very thin. When we shopped online and found old navy had this very stylish pant that fit the "uniform" requirement we we thrilled. uniform pants that fit and my preteens will wear. Having 3 13 year olds in Catholic school can be daunting. Trying to adhere to the uniform code but still find clothes that will fit, are affordable and are considered "cool" is nearly impossible. My ... rather slim and most uniform pants are too big in the legs and waist. Many other pants have riviets which aren't allowed in the uniform code. Of course many are just considered "too ugly" or "weird" to be worn by junior high ... Old Navy pants have solved all these problems for us.

plus size ... not longer My twin ... between ... so the plus size was perfect for them to give the extra room in the smaller in between size. My only complaint is that plus size does not mean they are longer. I had to cut 3 inches off and sew another hem. Hated to do extra work for something that should already be done.

Pants Returned at Old Navy in Mall I ordered the pants for my grand daughther. she said they fit really well but were not the type to please a 12 year old. I told her she was welcome to return them and find something that fit her style. She was able to find replacements at the Old Navy store in the Grand Forks, ND mall. Old Navy was still a good plan for her gift.
