Perfect for school uniformsWe bought these for my girls to wear under their school uniform dresses, and skirts that don't have built in skorts. They're perfect. We do wear a size smaller than we'd normally buy, but both of my girls have very tiny waists, so that happens to us frequently, even with other brands.

Excellent productI was looking for some bike shorts for my daughter to wear under skirts and dresses and found these. They are just perfect for providing coverage ... need and don't stick out below the skirt or dress.
So Happy Bike Shorts are Back!!!Can't find these anywhere, at least in 100% cotton! As another reviewer noted, these're so great because they're really not meant to be worn as bike shorts in itself but under something. My kid wears these under soccer shorts that're just see through mesh: these not only gives coverage but also warmth when the weather's chilly. Plus, they're so wonderful under any type of skirts/dresses/uniforms especially during winter when tights alone are not enough to keep warm. They run very, very small so I recommend ordering not just 1 size up but 2 sizes up only because based on my experience [I bought 10] there's considerable shrinkage in the dryer during first few washes. They're a must for not only colder weather but also for the warm weathers under sundresses, etc. It'd be even nicer if ON reduces the price to $5 ea. as I stock on these every year when they offer it. They go fast, so get 'em now while they still have the colors & sizes!!!!!!
They''re not bike shorts - that''s why they''re PERFECT!Bike shorts have their place, and we certainly use them. We like them under 'shorter' dresses when they're supposed to show. But they're also very easy to find. What's not as easy to find are *these* - designed just to maintain modesty! We wear these under dresses or skirts where we don't want the shorts to show, but need them to cover unders while on the playground, etc. We have several pairs of this style from other (far more expensive) makers, and like these at least as much, if not more. The fact that they're 1/3 the price doesn't hurt either! I think these run *very* true to size - so much so that I didn't have to size down for my 'slim' ... (but they also fit my 'average' size daughter 'true' as well). We will ALWAYS stock up on these!!!
I love the length, size and colors!!I have 10 year old twin daughters and have been making them wear shorts like these under their dresses since they have been out of diapers. I have been looking for these in stores to no avail for a couple of years as the girls were growing out of the ones that they had. I love the fact that these are shorter than what I have found in the past so they are less likely to show under their skirts and dresses. I purchased 7 pair for the girls and am very pleased. I will look here first when they outgrow these.
PERFECT shorts for wearing under skirts and dressesI have been looking for a while for nice comfy shorts for my 6 y.o. to wear under skirts and dresses. I had bought some from Gymboree and Children's Place but they were more like bike shorts and in some cases were too long. My daughter also didnt find them comfortable. She loves these! Order a size up though because they def run small. She wears a size 6 and needed a M in these. Glad I listened to prior reviews. I hope they NEVER stop making these. Since they were on sale, I did order a few prs in size Large for next year already.
Perfect dance shortsMy daughter takes dance and I see all the ... wearing these short shorts. The Old Navy ones are ... yes, but just right for dancing and for much less than the studio is charging for them! I bought one just to see and now I'm ordering two more for her! They do shrink a little with washing, but they are true to size.
Too short to be worn aloneOn the size 16 ones I think the inseam is a bit too short...also got the size 6 for my younger daughter and it doesn't seem so short on her. I bought these for them to wear under skirts and dresses and they disappear because they fit close to the body and are too short to peek out from under. Even though I think they are a bit too short and would never let my girls wear these alone, they do give much more coverage than just panties and are obviously shorts so no embarrassment if they do show. As for value they are WAY cheaper than other "monkey bar" type shorts. Will probably order more when they get more in my oldest daughter's size.
These are great!I purchased these in both blk and white for my daughters to wear under their skirts and dresses. They are a little thin so would not recommend wearing the white pair on their own, but they're perfect to wear underneath and for sports because there's no bulky folds at the waist. They really stretch too! I have a daughter that tends to wear plus size bottoms and these fit great! Best price I've seen.
