I bought the pants online after visiting one of the stores and discovering that the pants were no longer available, however one of the sales ... suggested I go online instead. My daughter and I were shopping for back to school clothes and uniforms are mandatory where we live. I suppose a lot of the ... got the same pants at Old Navy and the supply was short. These uniform pants are the most attractive fit on the market for slim kids. My ... lean and tall, and it was great to finally find a uniform pant that wasn't baggy and unflattering, or looked like "boy pants". I tried many brands and my ... never wanted to wear them to school because they were "ugly", so they would sit in the closet. Now on cold days, they are asking to wear their pants! And they are so soft and comfortable, not stiff and "itchy" like the others. Thanks Old Navy, for adding style to the standard uniform!

The sz 8 was to tight and the sz 10 were to big for my daughter and the sz 8 plus was just perfect for her. I very pleased that you guys carry the slim and the plus sz one of my ... needs the slim and the other one needs a plus so I'm very plesed with Old Navy!!=-)

Having 3 13 year olds in Catholic school can be daunting. Trying to adhere to the uniform code but still find clothes that will fit, are affordable and are considered "cool" is nearly impossible. My ... rather slim and most uniform pants are too big in the legs and waist. Many other pants have riviets which aren't allowed in the uniform code. Of course many are just considered "too ugly" or "weird" to be worn by junior high ... Old Navy pants have solved all these problems for us.

These run big and are very long as well. But, they are a good buy and a decent quality pant. I haven't washed them yet, but I expect them to shrink quite a bit as they are 98% cotton. I got a 7, 8, 10 and 10 slim for both of my ... find the best fit and the 7's and 8's had a hidden snap closure behind the "faux button". It is a great idea, as a snap is easier for the younger ones to handle on their own. I assume that sizes over an 8 have the regular button as both the 10 reg. and slim had the keyhole button.

Ok pants
I purchased four pair of uniform pants for my daughter, two pair khaki and two pair navy. I LOVE the fit of the pants on my daughter. She is very tall and slim. Although I loved the fit, length, and style of the pants, I was disappointed with the fading of the navy pants after the second wash, but I dyed them and they?re dark navy and look great. I would and do recommend these pants, especially for the tall and slim ...

Great fitting ... - very cute!!
I have a very hard time finding ... my daughter, who is not the stick figure that a lot of regular size clothes seem to be for OR as big as most "plus" size items seem to be for - BUT these were perfect in plus size! The fit is great, very flattering, and my daughter says they are really comfortable, which is amazing because she is very picky! The price was just right too, which is really nice in this economy!!

My grandaughter is a beautiful 10 year old. But doesn't feel that way most of the time due to hard to fit clothes. She is large framed, But not fat, so most plus sizes will fit in the waist then bag out every where eles.(when u can find them.) But these 10 1/2 Old Navy ... PERFECT. I'm a short 5'6" gal that cannot seem to find a true "short" sized jean. I love these short ... although, the length is still a bit long for my height. I flip them so the legs won't drag on the ground..I can't stand my clothes dragging and get torn up from being too long. I do wish that the inseam would be similar to men like 30 x 31 so that I would know the ... would "fit". Otherwise, a great color jean that feels and looks great. I was also a bit skeptical wearing "low rise" because of ... size but once again Old Navy, you surprised me! Now, I'm going for the distressed look ... cargo like style..way to go Old Navy!!

Sizing is inconsistent, but when it fits, great!
[*] The sizing is inconsistent. It seems that ... manufacturers expect customers to test the sizing for them these days. Are we supposed to have our favorite country of origin now as well as brand? I wish ON carried slims in their stores, so I could buy more deliberately and return fewer items, too. That said, the Indian pair looks wonderful on our tall, ... daughter and I like the adjustable waist feature! Great pricing, now if only you could be consistent in your sizing, it would be better value, too!

Can''t find it in the store!
The nearest store from our home is over 50 miles away. Shopping for school clothes you have to beat the rush, when you shop at the stores, and we were late. So ordering from Old Navy online would have saved us not only gas but great online discounts as well. We will still go to the stores to see what is available but if we can not find it Old Navy.com will be our choice.

Perfect fit!
I bought these in a 10 slim for my tall and lean 8 year old daughter. They fit perfect from the waist to the ankle. I struggle to find ... narrow enough for her and these are perfect. I also bought the boot cut in a slim. The waist needs to be taken in for those but fit great everywhere else. Most slim adjustable waist ... still look huge on her. Not these and got a great price too.

My 8 year old daughter loves these ... so do her parents! They fit well and do not reveal her underwear! I like to buy her clothes a little big so she can grow into them but when I bought bigger, they actually fit her perfect in the waist...no need for the adjustable waiste band. She will be out of these by New Years...Overall, we are satified with these ... ;-)

Way too-long!
These were very long for the size 8 ... we chose for my daughter. She is very tall for her age 7 and these still made her look short. Size 7 slims were too short...hope this helps you!

Not relaxed thigh fit
First off, I ordered these ... my daughter because ON ships to APO (THANK YOU OLD NAVY!!!). I read all the reviews and descriptions and was a little disapointd when they weren't "relaxed" like it said. The waist and length would have been great but they weren't relaxed enough in the thigh. My daughter is not a "plus" but not a "slim". I felt these fit more on the ... side. I had to send them back. If it wasn't for them being too ... they would have been perfect. Good quality and price. I'll keep trying.

my daughter is 5 and she is slim so there is that but that being said I tighted then all the way and they still fell off her. I feel like they fit more like a husky then a reg, and for some reason ON doesnt make a slim fit in a size 5. so they went back. If your ... more on the stocky side then maybe these would be great but if she is really slim beware!

Perfect for slim kids
The slim style jeans through Old Navy are the only jeans our daughters will wear! They are a perfect fit for really petite kids who are all legs and no waist! Would highly recommend them for others to try as they are comfortable, stylish, and priced fairly. I do wish they would bring back slim fits in the lower sizes as well such as they had with 5T because our youngest is also tall and thin and very difficult to buy decent fitting jeans for.

These jeans are Fantastic!!!! I bought these jeans for my daughter who is 8 years, i bought them in a size 10 slim. She is curvy on the back side~these jeans fit her like a glove. They come down below the belly button like she likes and above the backside for what i like!! She can wear them with her flip flops for a casual look or wear them with high heels for that dressed up look. They are very durable, they are just great. A wide variety of colors so looks are endless.

They have been washed a couple times and have not shown any shrinkage so far. I love to have finally found jeans to fit my very slim princess.

These pants are perfect for my tall thin daughter.I buy size 8 slim for her b cuz of the length. fit a little loose at first but perfect fit after first wash.

Confused about size comparison
I was certain that these would be perfect since my daughter has another pair with the same description details...relaxed through hip and thigh. These were way too tight which makes no sense since she has another pair the same size that are described as low rise and slim through the thighs that fit just fine! I love the quality and style of Old Navy but from my experience the jeans sizes really vary by style so it's hit or miss.

Jeans too big
Bought ... boot cut size 10 slim, as 10's were way too big. Perfect length, but too big around waste. The 10 slim is even bigger around the waste & over 6 inches too long. The store shelves are empty of jeans. I'm very dissapointed in Old Navy pants. What we did try on in the store, other styles including cords, did not fit my kids at all, no matter what size I grabbed. Very dissapointed.

... daughter is on the cusp of fitting into ... sizes, she waivers and usually would be better off with a 5T. Unfortunately, she is almost seven and hates the idea of wearing TODDLER CLOTHES! These ... cute and durable and I like the wash, as it doesn't have those striations or lines or whisker (ugh), like so many dark washes do. I wish they made a 5 ... but, overall, I couldn't be happier!

It's hard to find skinny ... just right especially for kids. ... daughter is tall for her age so finding ... fit are hard to find. The waist was a little too big but that's because she has a small waist. The inner tabs on the inside took care of that. I'm very satisfied overall with Old Navy's clothes.

I got these in a 7 ... daughter. She is not extremely skinny but ... these days seem so big for kids' waists. So I got the ... thank goodness the had the adjustable waist bands because they still had a huge gap in the back. I think ... should have smaller waists because like I said ... daughter seems more average looking than what I would think of as a ... plus they need slims in larger sizes they are always out.

Buyer Beware!
... daughter tried these ... store and loved them. ... came with a notice that the dye may rub off, but that is an understatement. ... left big black streaks under the eating bar in ... kitchen from where ... daughter's knees rubbed against the drywall. I washed them in the laundry sink half a dozen times trying to pull out some of the excess dye over the course of a day, but the water still turned black and ... still trashed the clothes that were in the dryer with them. I usually have good luck with Old Navy ... but I'll never buy dark ... them again.

if you have a skinny minny get the slim fit
we ordered the regular skinny ... online, but for my string bean of a 7 year old, the waist was just WAY too big. Returned them to the store where the clerk directed us toward the SLIM FIT skinny ... these are a perfect fit and look. if your child is average height and skinny, order the slim fit.

These ... fit great! We went with the slim size and she loves them. The color seems long lasting too. They are not baggy nor are they tight.

Finally...jeans that fit!
My nine year old daughter, who is extremely slim, has struggled with ... years. We have never found ... fit the way these do. Finally, all aspects flatter her...the legs and rear don't bag, and the adjustable waist allows her to be ultimately comfortable. I purchased multiple pairs, I was so pleased with the fit.

I have a confession...I am a 29 year old woman but built very small. I can actually fit into ... sizes. Not only are the clothes cheaper than adults but they are cuter and fit better. These jeans were affordable, are comfortable and fit amazing.

I shop at Old Navy for all three of my chidren, I always buy the slim fit for my oldest daughter and my son, I was dissapointed to find that the slim fit only goes up to a size 12, I would like to see it go to a 16 like the plus size. It is very hard to find clothes for my 10 year old who is 5ft 5 and very slender. I am sure other people have the same problem with this transition size from childrens to adults.

Perfect!
I ordered these ... my 11 yr old , and she loves them! She is very slim, and we ordered the slim fit and still need use the adjustable waistband to make them fit around her waist, but they look great ! The ran true to size for her.

Slim & Regular Sizes Not Even Close...
These jeans are cute, but they seem impossible to get a good fit. For instance, my younger daughter swims in the 6 Regular, but can barely squeeze into the 6 Slim. Also, in the bigger ... sizes (12, 14, 16), the waist is way too big compared to the room in the thigh. They are made to fit a thick waisted ... toothpick thin legs. I don't recommend these for most body types.

Im at a loss
I've purchased several pairs of old navy ... my 5 year old both online and in the store and ill have to say the sizing is so inconsistant its ridiculous! She is a little tall and slender so I ordered her a 6 slim in the darling dark wash skinny ... they fit her perfectly, these ... same size were so "slim" we couldnt button them. I returned them and got a 6reg and they are way too big in the waist and hips, even with the adjustable waist tightened. Size 5's are too short on her. There is a big difference in the lenths between sizes 5 and 6 which doesnt make sense because kids dont grow 3 inches at a time. They are great ... far as quality, price, and over all cuteness. My advice is to try them on in the store if possible.

Not what I expected
I am not at all satisfied with the girl sizes in jeans and pants. To start off the waist band is too low for a child. I don't think that little ... should be wearing low cut jeans. Not only that but my daughter's size is a 6 or 7 plus which is not carried at Old Navy. The 8 plus that I ordered and the 8 regular I tried on at the store does not fit my daughters body type. I really which that Old Navy would carry more plus sizes for little ... jeans would be at the waist.

Perfect jeans
My daughters are both very slim, and we have trouble finding jeans that not only fit in the waist but through the rear end and legs... these jeans are the perfect slim cut jeans! They fit everywhere they are suppose to w/o cutting into areas they shouldn't. The adjustable waist allows for the perfect fit while the slim cut keeps you from having to bunch up the waist. I bought 6 pairs, and we are thrilled w/ them.

Great Classic
My 12 year old is tall and trim but not trim enought to wear slim jeans. Great to be able to find jeans for her that have the adjustable waist. She need the 16 for the length, but does not have a 16 waistline so it's nice to be able to adjust it a little for a perfect fit! Great price too!!!

These are REALLY slim & my daughter's pretty skinny. She complained about how tight they felt in the thigh area. They fit everywhere else, so it wasn't a matter of them being too small in size. If your child likes really tight jeans, these ARE cute. But we ended up opting for regular fit instead of slim.

Odd Fit
My daughter is slender. We have a hard time finding jeans that fit her well so I was thrilled to find "slim" cut jeans, which are different than "skinny" jeans. Or at least they should be. What a disappointment. The waistline was still way too big for her, and somehow the legs of the jeans were tight on her little pencil legs. The only benefit of these jeans was they were easy to return to the store. What a disappointment.

Totally Cute!
Ordered these in a size 6 Slim, fit my 6 year old daughter perfectly!

I couldn''t be happier!
I got a $100 gift card from my parents for Christmas to ON and me being a very short and skinny 22 year old (reaching only 4'9" tall and weighing 85 lbs.) I have the hardest time finding clothes that fit me perfectly, especially ... day after Christmas I went to the local ON store to try to find pants, but unfortunately they barely had anything in stock. I personally HATE skinny ... refuse to wear them, I'm a retro kind of ... only like flares and bell bottoms and I really wanted some of those retro flared styled ... sells but unfortunately when I asked one of the ... working at the local store, she said they only carried bootcut and after looking online their petite ... would have been too long for me anyways. Usually when I shop at ON I shop in the kids department since their sized fit me way better than their adult sizes. After doing some research online I came across these, which I liked and the dark wash flared ... which I also liked and ordered 2 pairs of these and 1 pair of the dark color in size 10 regular. I was worried they may fit me weird since they are kids sizes but I recieved them and they fit PERFECT plus they are nice and flared at the ends, just the way I like them! I have never had juniors pants that fit me so good, not even in a 00 size. I also requested for the free shipping over $50 and they came sooner than I expected, which was great. Overall, I am satisfied and I definately know where to buy ... fit me right that aren't overpriced. Thanks ON for solving one of my biggest problems when it comes to clothes shopping!

Too tight and low waisted for a small ...
My daughter is average but these were terribly tight and the legs got so slim through the thighs. I would not recommend for younger ... because they have low waist band and then really tight in the legs.

Love this skirt as it can be dressed up or down. Looks so cute with boots. Finding appropriate girly clothes can be difficult and this skirt fits the bill for modesty, fashion and fun. We purchased a "slim" size and still needed to cinch it up in the waist, so we are grateful for the adjustable feature.

Bought this skirt in 6 slim. Would have bought in 10 slim if it were available. My daughter loves it and I do too. I wish Old Navy carried long denim skirts for ladies.

It is great to find a skirt this length. It is hard to find long skirts for ... These are great especially for winter time. Slim fit is great for my 6 year old who is thin, but has long legs. Please keep these skirts around, as this is one of the few places you can find them.

Great Skirt but a little too big
I love this skirt, however, my daughter is not used to wearing long skirts so this didn't offer her the ease of movement she's used to. However, it's perfect for going out and even though it was a little big, (My daughter is 7 and slim and I ordered the 8.) The elastic tabs insided make it wearable. Great Skirt, Old Navy, you could stand to make more knee length or longer dresses and skirts for little ... modest and not so grown up.

Great fit, Great price! Get the khaki one, too!
My daughter is short, slim and hard to fit. Her hips are bigger than her waist so this size in a slim was perfect with the adjustable waist! We bought the denim one, too. So glad that we found these! She is 10 and has to wear skirts to her private school. Pair this with boots and it's very cute!

I love this skirt! The longer length is perfect for little ... classic look of denim makes this the perfect skirt! I recommend this to any little girl!

Finally a Conservative Skirt for ...
We NEVER buy skirts from Old Navy, being that they are so trashy for a young girl. The skirts normally look like they are for prostitutes. But not this one! Finally a conservative skirt I can buy for my ... Hopefully Old Navy will realize the sexual pressures they put on young ... start making more this length. That way they can look like little ladies, not sexual pieces of meat.

Big Long Skirt
The idea of an "anytime" skirt that could be dressed up on down was good. This skirt runs super big, wide waiste, and way too long. The girls's size 16 skirt was the same size as my misses 12 skirt. I returned the skirt/s & did not re order because I did not want to pay another shipping. But still the qualtily was good & the style. Oh, my ... hated the skirt & said it looked like a "MOMMY Skirt".

We really love these skirts, but they run pretty big
My almost 9 year old we got an 8 slim for and still have to cinch the waist so much it looks ridiculous. We went by the sizing and according to that the reg 7 was actually made for a bigger waist than the 8 slim, but we bought the 7 for my 7 year old and it's actually smaller, but it's still huge on my 7yo who should have fit it nicely. We tried to go to the store to see about fitting, but they didn't carry them in the store. We would still recommend them, just watch the sizing.
