These jeans are the perfect fit! My daughter is usually in between sizes which make it difficult to find clothes that fit right, but these jeans make that possible.

Daughter needs slim jeans but also still need adjustable waist because she is so thin. These have been hard to find, other stores have not carried ... sdj waists. These are nice, and for the price, you can't beat it. They fit well and material is pretty good. Like them.

Great jean for the long and lean
These fashionable jeans are perfect for my tall, thin daughter. She loves the look and also the fact that she can wear them without a belt. Of course the slim fit means that it is a bit of a hassle pulling them off, but the great fit is definitely worth the effort!

Great black skinny jeans, but beware the size.
Those black skinny jeans are great. They are so popular with all the ... ln my daughter's middle school. The problem was the size. I ordered them in Slim the first time, in Regular the second time, and there was a huge difference. Regular was way too big and at least 3 inches longer. Many sizes were sold out, so I hope I'll find them again this spring on the Old Navy website - in other colors as well!!

Too skinny!
My daughter is 11 but we always buy a size up because she is taller than average. She is also of a slim built but.... These jeans were extremely tight, she was barely able to breathe after she put them on which was surprising because we've never had issues with Gap or Old navy clothes. The jeans are very well made and attractive but they are too skinny.

Not so super skinny
My daughter is too tall for toddler and normally wears a 5 slim or XS ... pant. She wears a 6 in leggings. We got 5 reg ( no 5 slim offered ) and the bottom/ hip is huge. Legs are fine, length is good, but I have elastic on smallest setting and it just bags off of my daughter. 6 slim would be too long. I can't believe how big these are.

Great jeans, great fit!
It's so difficult to find jeans for my daughter. She's very petite in size and height. I was pleasantly surprised to FINALLY find skinny jeans that come in slim & regular sizes (going from a slim 7 to regular 8). Because my daughter is transitioning from one size to another, it was diffucult finding the right fit & still be somewhat fashionable. These jeans come with a hidden elsatic on the waist, making it even easier to find her a pair that was just right. THANK YOU Old Navy!!!

Great, Stylish Skinny Jeans for ...
My daughter loves clothes. And, well, so do I! We were looking for a great pair of skinny jeans, and these are perfect! They fit well, wash well, and look adorable. My daughter says they are very comfortable and she wants to wear them often. I am very impressed with the quality and style. I just purchased the dark washed and the distressed washed jeans in size 10 slim for my 10-year old daughter. It fits her 23 inch waist perfectly, and the length fits down to the top of her foot.

Perfect Skinny Jean
Perfect fir for my slim 6 yr old daughter. These are so cute on her and we love the adjustable waist. The have some give to allow her to play, jump and run around with out feeling too confined. Thank God for the "skinny" sizes! My daughter is only 9 years old but is 4' 9" and slim. She needs a size 12 in length but she is really more of a size 8 in the waist, so it's hard to find jeans that fit her well. These are PERFECT! They are slim, fit her nicely and look great. Thanks Old Navy!

They are jeans, alright...
My daughter is on the cusp of fitting into ... sizes, she waivers and usually would be better off with a 5T. Unfortunately, she is almost seven and hates the idea of wearing TODDLER CLOTHES! These jeans are cute and durable and I like the wash, as it doesn't have those striations or lines or whisker (ugh), like so many dark washes do. I wish they made a 5 slim, but, overall, I couldn't be happier!

My daughter is very slim, so I bought her these in a 10 slim size. They are still big around the waist after adjusting the waist on the inside. The jeans are beautiful> I wish you had a size between 8 and 10.

My daughter is very picky about jeans and these didn't really wow her. Wish they came in a 16 slim. Also around the bottom legs r way tight to tight.

Perfect for under dresses and skirts!
My 6 year old hasn't worn anything but dresses (and leggings all winter) in about 3 years. Now that she's in school, it's mandatory that she wear something underneath to cover up. These are absolutely perfect for that. These are shorter in length than the "bike shorts" from other retailers, but this means they don't peak out from underneath some of her dresses. I ordered her usual size and they are just fine, but my daughter is on the slim side. I only wish I had ordered more colors when they were all available. I definitely will next year!

Perfect shorts for my little ... wear under a skirt or dress - they are thin so they don't leave bulk under her clothes. I bought a couple pairs because she wears them every time she wears a dress.

I have a six year-old granddaughter who loves skirts and dresses and recess equally well. She hangs on the monkey bars upside down and/or kicks soccer balls until the bell rings to go back inside. I had been hunting for modesty shorts online for quite awhile, but they run anywhere from $10- $16. Since they would be worn nearly everyday, she needed several pairs to get through the school week. Then I found these. They are perfect under skirts and dresses. She doesn't mind them so I know they are comfortable. They don't make her clothes look lumpy, either. And what a GREAT price! She is very slender but they do run small, so I sized up as other viewers recommended. These are not shorts that can be worn alone. They are a very close fitting garment (which is why they are perfect for my purpose) and some of them are see through. But Wow, what a bargain!!!

Just right for dresses!
I was looking for a pair for my kid to wear under dresses. This fit the bill on 2 counts for me -- the waist fit on a very slim ... short unlike the typical bermuda length bike shorts from other stores, so it doesn't peek out below the dress. I would say they are not modest enough to wear on their own, though. Ordered more in other colours!

Great fit for a tall, slim girl
My daughter is 5 1/2 and wearing size 7. She is both tall and thin for her age, and we purchased these jeans in a slim. Super skinny slim sounds a little ridiculous, but the fit is perfect. Several reviewers complained about how large the waist and seat is in the regular fit, so I suggest trying the slims, which you can buy on line or in the store. They are not slimmer in the leg, just around the seat and waist. My daughter is also autistic, so how things feel is very important to her, and she loves these - not too tight or scratchy.

Good value, fit not as good as GAP super skinny
My daughter loves the softness of these jeans and overall the look and the wash is very cute. However, the fit is a little off for her. Even with the "slim" size I still had to tighten the waist and then the rear kind of bags and puffs a little. Seems to be cut to allow for thighs but got them for a 7 yr old...However, with discounts I ended up getting them for under $7 and you can't beat that.

Perfect for J.Lo--Huge in waist and seat
I was really disappointed in these jeans. My daughter is very slender and tall so we ordered the slim fit (7s). The legs were indeed slim and fit well and the length was great, but apparently Old Navy thinks super skinny jeans are meant for ... potbellies and J.Lo bottoms. I could not believe how big they were in the waist and seat. Needless to say, they promptly were returned. I often buy jeans & pants from The Gap and figured being sister stores the cuts would be the same, but needless to say they are not. Too bad because they are really cute.

Store not well stocked
I bought these on line for my granddaughter. My daughter was going to exchange them for a slim, but said the store did not have any. I did not notice a slim on line either. I don't know what she has done with them. I will not buy on line from Old Navy again.

The best fitting jeans for my daughter.
My 9 year old is skinny and long legged. We have yet to find jeans that fit her as well as ON's jeans. I buy the slim fit ones and along with the adjustable elastic on the inside it is the perfect fit for her. These jeans were the color and style that they appeared to be online.

Boot Cut Jeans Great Buy!
What a great buy on these jeans. My daughter rides horses and its hard to find jeans that are boot cut and Not low waisted. These are perfect. Very true to size. We love them and don't have to worry about a plumber's crack!! They sit right at the hip, the tabs are perfect for growing girls. We don't wear anything else.

Tight pair of jeans
These are REALLY slim & my daughter's pretty skinny. She complained about how tight they felt in the thigh area. They fit everywhere else, so it wasn't a matter of them being too small in size. If your child likes really tight jeans, these ARE cute. But we ended up opting for regular fit instead of slim.

Terrible fit this year
I always buy my daughter's jeans from ON. Last year she was in a 6 but by spring they were starting to get a little too short. This year I bought six pairs of 7 slim. I bought slim because she is really skinny. Brought them home and washed them and put them away. This week it is starting to turn cold so I got them down out of the closet and handed her a pair to put on. The waist fits AWESOME! Don't even need to adjust it. That's where the awesome ends though. They are about 4 inches too long. I came back to look at the size chart and see where I went wrong and that's when I noticed that every size cover 2 inches of height. Except size 7. It covers 4 inches. Why?? So I guess we will be going elsewhere for her jeans this year since according to what I have found she will need a size 6X.

Great pants
I bought these pants for my daughters, who are both in a youth orchestra. They fit well and the price was great on sale. The black does show quite a bit of lint, so we have to use a lint brush fairly often, but I guess that's how black pants are. The regular sizing is a bit big, but ON pants are usually large on my ... because they're very thin. I just buy the size smaller in slim and they fit perfectly. Great purchase!

best uniform pants around
I love that Old Navy has these in slim, so they fit my ... nicely without looking all shapeless or baggy. They find them comfortable, and I think they last better than most other slacks in their price range (I always buy when they are [$] on sale). Perfect colors too. I love Old Navy uniform!

Great color
We orderd the grey color online as I couldn't ever find it in the stores. We love this color! It’s hard to find nice & reasonably priced school uniform pants that aren't khaki, navy or black. We were thrilled with the color option as well as the durability of the pants. We always order slim and still have to cinch it in quite a bit. I wish a slim would actually be slim.

Wow! I'm pleased. My daughter is tall and slim and has a very small waist. These slim pants fit her perfectly and the adjustable waistband made it easy to fit her waist. It is very difficult to find slim pants in a size 10 and up. My daughter wears them to school and stated that they are very comfortable, not to mention fashionable. I bought ... pants, shorts, skorts, Boy's shorts all in SLIM size and they fit my kids perfectly. ... pants are slightly flare and not too formal for a uniform which I like and the adjustable belt goes a long way! I like all 3 colers; Navy Blue, Khaki, Oats.

great for tall, thin ...
Was not expecting to love these pants as much as we do! In the past have only bought 2 pairs of Gap's pants that would last throughout the year (lots of skirts were worn;), this year however, my ... (6 years-7 slim and 8 years-8 slim but about to outgrow length) wanted to wear pants more and halfway through the year wore holes throughout them! Couldn't bring myself to spend $30+ on uniform pants, so thought we'd try these. So glad I did! They fit my tall and skinny ... wonderfully! Still have to cinch the waist on the slims alot, but we have to with most pants anyhow. They have a slimmer profile than Gap's that we all love and look great on. The material is soft, feels nice and has washed wonderfully. And the price is great. Will be buying these next year for sure.

great alternative
My daughter should be a size 9, but they don't exist. Our official uniform supplier for school stopped carrying ... Other 10s we tried were absolutely enormous. These pants are truly slim in the thighs. The waist is cinched as tight as it can go and the legs are a little long. In the absence of a size 9, the slim 10 is a great alternative.

Why No 14 or 16 Slims Available Online???
These are our go to pants for both my daughters' school uniform needs. They are not perfect but with limited choices out there for slim ... they fit the bill for a very reasonable price. However, for 2 years running I have had to search high and low in stores and call all over the place to have items shipped from around the country in order to get 14 slims!! Why does Old Navy sell regular and plus size 14 and 16 online but not slims??? This makes no sense whatsoever and makes it twice as hard to find the pants we need each school year. Please make 14 & 16 slims available online as well as in the stores!!

Just so so
I am a huge Old Navy shopper and love most everything I've ever gotten from the store. This is the first time I've shopped on line for any items. I ordered these pants because of all the reviews stating that they were longer in length and would be great for ... were long and lean, as my daughter is. I was disappointed that I had to stretch the elastic to the point, it bunched up and made the waist line very uncomfortable all day long for my daughter. The length just fit to the bottom of her ankle, I guess good enough, and I can roll them up as capris in the spring. I guess, lesson learned would be to go to the store and physically try clothes on. I wish stores would make clothes for ... tall and thin, or that just have long legs. I will continue to shop at Old Navy, I love the store!

Perfect Super Skinny Jeans
My slim 9 year old daughter loves these. She is a size slim and Old Navy is one of few places that carries slim. These jeans are, as the name suggests, SUPER skinny in the legs. Other review mentioned too much fabric in the crotch but I do not agree. There is enought fabric so she can sit down comfortably. I would rather have that than have them be tight in that area. There is just the right amount of stretch in them so she can move. They also look great tucked into boots. If your ... slim these are for you.

They will not work for all ... have another daughter that is an average size/build and they were too tight in legs for her. But if you have a skinny daughter to begin with, you will love them!

My daughter absolutely loves these jeans! She has at least 5 pairs. They last a long time and are very flattering on her slim figure.

these jeans very well made and Great Quality beware these jeans are incredible tight all way down to legs i love these jeans have little stretch on thighs part but none on legs or caves they are very comfortable jeans only thing beware if like wear your jeans 3 times a week these jeans need wash more offten then all of my other jeans also colors rub on too your knees way took one star off because it is pain so in all these jeans comfortable are made for only people with skinny legs i have incredble skinny legs muscle calves but still fit them over just beware these jeans made for skinny ... waist is petty big too ! i wear size 12 and im 4 feet and 3 inches tall just incredble skinny and tiny ! hope i help ! if wear slim would go with reg sizes !

Super skinny jeans for skinny ... only!
My daughter is tall and slim and currently measures to fit in a 12 Slim. We went to the store to try these on and she could not get her feet into the 12 Slim. Granted, she probably has larger feet than some (size 5 1/2) but they were rediculously tight! She was able to get the 12 Regular on but we had to really tighten the waist and it bunches up. I had her try on the Skinny jeans in 12 Slim and they fit fine, but she really wanted the Super Skinny. She's happy with the waist being pulled in and I guess it gives some grow (or shrink) room. So, be warned that even slim ... may not fit in these!

Disappointed
Bought this jean for my daughter in "slim." The jean fit in the legs and butt areas but the waist was VERY large. The elastic adjustments only added bulk becasue they had to be pulled almost to the last hole. ON please make these jean smaller in the waist esp in the slim sizes

don't usually order on line, but found so many great deals @ Old Navy Store, I just had to give it a try. Ordered some school clothes for my niece and everything fit perfectly and best of all, she loved every single piece...especially these jeans! Thanks Old Navy for such great sales!

These jeans fit my daughter well. She has an average build, (not slim or husky). They are long, but she tucks them into her fashion boots anyway. Good quality.

Im at a loss
I've purchased several pairs of old navy jeans for my 5 year old both online and in the store and ill have to say the sizing is so inconsistant its ridiculous! She is a little tall and slender so I ordered her a 6 slim in the darling dark wash skinny jeans and they fit her perfectly, these jeans in the same size were so "slim" we couldnt button them. I returned them and got a 6reg and they are way too big in the waist and hips, even with the adjustable waist tightened. Size 5's are too short on her. There is a big difference in the lenths between sizes 5 and 6 which doesnt make sense because kids dont grow 3 inches at a time. They are great jeans as far as quality, price, and over all cuteness. My advice is to try them on in the store if possible.

My daughter has 2 other pairs of (older) Old Navy 12 slim jeans, but this pair of 12 slims was SUPER tight - way smaller than any others we've had. We had to return them.

Thank heaven for Old Navy jeans
Old Navy has the only jeans that fit my tall, slim daughter properly. There is a fine line between nicely cut jeans for a child who is slender, and skin tight jeans that are inappropriately mature for a grade schooler. Old Navy boot cut jeans in the slim sizes fall on the right side of that line, making my daughter look graceful, well dressed, and age appropriate.

I was impressed when I received these pants for my daughter. I was trying to decide between slim & regular as she's tall & skinny. I went with the slim & they'll fit her good for awhile--definitely long enough to get my money's worth as the price was great too.

Extra tall and super slender little lady
My 8 yr old little girlie whirl is so slender that elastic waisted leggings slide right down! We cinch the adjustable straps inside other "slim" jeans all the way tight and they are still too loose. Old Navy's slim sizes have been the only jeans that she can wear comfortably and without a belt. Hooray! They fit just right!

Perfection!
I simply LOVE that Old Navy has a 14 slim. It has the same measurements as the "00" in those other stores, but the adjustable waist makes it the perfect fit. The material is a good weight, they wash really well, and my daughter FINALLY has pants that fit! Now..if they would just carry them in the store....

PERFECT PANTS!
These jeans fit my daughter perfectly! She is slim, and Old Navy's slim fit truly fits without the discomfort of cinching the elastic that other pants rely so heavily upon. They are affordable enough to supply all her jeans needs!

My daughter usually wears size slim in all pants. I found these pants to be really tight in the slim size and seemed really worn. They didn't impress me with their quality.

Great Jeans
Now that my daughter has moved up from toddler sizes, I'm thrilled I can choose slim. Finally! I still have to use the adjustable waist but not SO much it gets bunchy. I also have to roll the bottoms, but with these boot cut jeans it still looks super cute. I'm so glad we have some jeans that I know will fit throughout the school year. We just have to undo the waist and unroll the bottoms, and voila! Also, the rise on these are perfect, no panties peeking out.

Sizing is inconsistent, but when it fits, great!
[*] The sizing is inconsistent. It seems that ... manufacturers expect customers to test the sizing for them these days. Are we supposed to have our favorite country of origin now as well as brand? I wish ON carried slims in their stores, so I could buy more deliberately and return fewer items, too. That said, the Indian pair looks wonderful on our tall, slim daughter and I like the adjustable waist feature! Great pricing, now if only you could be consistent in your sizing, it would be better value, too!

slim jeans
I have (2) thin daughters. My daughters wear slim jeans from Old Navy. They are a great value, hold up well. Even though the girsl are skinny, they still like their jeans to fit snug. Old Navy slim jeans do that. An added bonus, we like to cut them off as capris when they get too short. Gives more bang for the buck. Love Old Navy. We buy jeans 2x/year when school begins and then at Christmas. By spring, we are in capris/shorts here in the south!

Slim works best
My daughter is slender so I bought the regular and the slim to find the better fit. The slim is perfect! She has just enough room to grow but where the regular kind of looked sloppy because it was too big. Love the slim sizes for my slim soon to be kindergartener!

Perfect!
These were purchased for my twin daughters who are 6 years old. They are very slim for their age and also tall. This is the first pair of slim jeans that actually fit them in the hips and the waist! All the other adjustable waist jeans that we have tried (including the slim fitting ones) were way too big on the hips, and the waist was cinched to the point that is was just not pretty at all. These fit them perfectly! Great buy for a great price...in fact, I just ordered 2 more pair in black!

Perfect jeans for my tall, slim girl. I don't have to alter them at all and am so satisfied with how well they fit.

Great Fit
My daughter is 12 but small for her age and very skinny--the 10 slim fit perfectly at the waist and inseam. She loves them. I couldn't give 5 stars due to them appearing a bit inexpensive but I did get a good deal on them.

Why so long?
My daughter wore a 7 Slim in these jeans last year, so I decided to purchase several pairs in 8 Slim for this fall. She has grown a full 2 inches in the last year, so I figured that was appropriate. The thing is, the 8 Slim size are is least 4-5 inches longer in the inseam than the 7 Slim. Isn't that a little excessive? Now I'm stuck with either getting them hemmed or rolling them up.

These ran huge! Nice, but sizing was way off compared to last year!
I bought my very tall 11 year old a size 14 because 12's from last year are not going to fit much longer. A friend had given my daughter her old size 14 Old Navy jeans and they were a bit big, but not huge, they work & she is growing fast. I decided to order a 14 in the same cut and style and the ... size 14 literally fit me, the mom, buttoned and zippered with ease! My daughter was cracking up, they are huge, huge! The waste is inches bigger than last year and the length, I am 5'7" and they literally fit me perfect! I am not sure if they are trying to make the larger children feel better by adjusting sizing or if this was a mistake, but it makes it really hard to order clothes on line. Maybe sizing needs to just continue to go up to higher numbers instead of adjusting all sizing. Jeans should be a bit more consistent! Other than that, if we figure out what size will work we do like the jeans. This is more than just one size difference

BEWARE: sizes have changed!!
After placing 4 online orders, i thought i would share with u what i learned. the sizes have changed from last year severely! my daughters pair of 10 flares from last year were too short, so i ordered the 12. holy cow, they were so long she was walking on at least 8 inches of fabric. so i placed another order and got the 10's. same thing, still too long. this is ridiculous, standing on at least 4-5 inches of fabric. so i thought ordering an 8 would be crazy, but was determined to get my daughter some jeans for fall. got the 8's and they were just right, touching the ground with no shoes and 1/2 inch from the floor with shoes. so beware, all the sizes have changed this time, found this true for the flare and bootcut, but mostly flare styles!! slims aren't as slim as before either. sure wish they would help let us know that!!!
