The best skinnies
I have never even thought of owning a pair of skinny ... am a size 16 on the bottom. I carry my weight in my waist. So ... pants are a problem for me. I have a bootie too, but my biggest issue is buttoning ... over my belly. ... skinny ... incredible. I bought my usual size 16 (tall) as I am 5'10". They are a dream come true. First I ordered the ruby, then the black. So comfy, my belly can breath, my bootie make Kim K jealous and my legs go on for miles. They are fantasic. I am buying 2 pair of back ups each. Seriously the best ... have ever owned in my 40 years on this planet. And from ON? For less than a dinner out with friends? You need ... If you are an apple shape you can't go wrong. If you are post baby, hop on the wagon.

Wow! These are awesome!
I just got these in the mail today, so I am writing my review based on my first impressions of these ... First off, I am 5'10 and between a 10/12 in regular Old Navy ... Also, I would never ever have thought I would be wearing skinny ... ordered the Dark Wash in 12 Tall, and they fit perfectly. They are definitely not as long as the typical "Tall" ... Old Navy though. If you are 5'9 or above, I'd recommend ordering the Tall over the Long (which is what I typically order). These ... very comfortable and definitely accentuate curves. One thing I noticed though (and this could be due to the length) is that there is a little gathering around my knees. I am hoping this won't become an issue. The one annoying thing about these ... if you ae tall, you have to order them online and take a chance they will fit properly. It would be awesome if the stores could carry at least the Long version in these styles. Overall though, these are awesome ... buying more!

Awesome pants!...If you heed my advice
Okay, this review is for the taller girls trying to decide on whether they should buy these ... not. I often read the reviews myself, hoping that someone my height will leave me with clarity and confidence when purchasing ... So, here I go! These ... different sizes, depending on the color. The colored ... like the watermelon or spring a-leek, will most likely require you go 2 sizes up, even though they have a little stretch. I think this is true for whatever length - tall, regular, or petite - but I do not want to say that it will definitely require a size up because everyone's body type is different. I am 5'11, 145 pounds (not super skinny, but average), and these pants go to the end of my ankle and the beginning of my foot. So I can where these with flats, heels, combat boots, Converse..you name it! All of the colored ... required me to go from my normal size of 10 (i'm a 9 in other brand ... size 12. The 12 in COLORED ... ONLY fit perfectly. Going up 2 sizes is ideal. However, the black pants are stretchier than the colored pants, so a size 10 fit perfectly too. The ... like Stone Blue, are also true to size because they are regular blue ... Whatever your size is in ... would probably be the best size for you to get. However, these ... do not reach my ankles. Yes, they are super cute, but the length is off by 2 to 3 inches for tall size. If I were to buy a size 12, the waist would be too big. I would recommend you try on the pants in the store, if possible, before you buy them. If you don't feel like returning these ... could always cuff them up for a more casual look or pair them up with some riding boots or combat boots (No one has to know haha).

Perfect for Spring/Summer!
I orginially bought ... Stone Blue 14 Tall and they were a bit small so I decided to repurchase them in my normal 16 ... same color (this is completely my fault, I didn't compare my measurements to the size chart before I ordered them and was over confident about my recent weightloss, ha). I got the 16's today and I love them! The color is true to the image and they are really comfortable. They are a bit longer than I would like, but being 5'7" and having most my length in my legs I always opt for the longs, as regular tends to shrink and become high waters on me after the first wash. The waist and hips fit snug, in a good way, and the rise is perfect for someone who likes to wear their ... higher than your typical low rise (I like to cover my muffin top, not accentuate it). The material is a bit thinner than some ... which makes them perfect for Spring and Summer, though I probably wouldn't wear them during the Fall or Winter. The only downside I can see is the same one I have with ALL skinny ... leg opening at the ankle is too wide! It seems that this is a typical issue with the larger sizes off all skinny ... making them go from "Skinny" to an almost "Bootcut" ... want a pair of ... actually hug my ankle, but it seems my search will continue. Other than that, ... fit like a glove and I adore them!

Sad days at the ranch.....
I recently lost a significant amount of weight and have been experiencing ... stress" the past few months. I desperately need new ... have searched high and low. I saw a friend and she looked amazing in her ... She said they were Rockstar ... Old Navy. I about left skid marks I was so thrilled to go to my local Old Navy and end my quandry. I tried on Rockstar skinny ... size 4.....but sad days at the ranch there were no long or tall Rockstar ... store;( Good news tho, I could order them online. I ordered four pairs in different washes. The pictures online looked to be just what I wanted. I ordered them on a Monday and had them in my hot, grubby paws the next Monday---very fast shipping---Impressive! I opened up my package and feverishing torn open the plastic wrapping of the first pair. WHAT??? Three out of the four had "kitty scratches" on the front part of the ... up by the zipper. Theses kitty scratches seemed to be pointing at my crotch? Needless to say, not attractive at all. Also, the 4 regulars that I tried on in the store fit like a glove and all four pair were extremely low even on my short waist. Please Old Navy here my plea and make your Skinny Rockstar ... size 4 long or tall, with a mid rise or at waist and no kitty scratches for the over 16 years old group. I will buy them en mass. Thank you!!!!!!

Disappointed
I'm 5'11 and wear a size 10 or 12 in ON ... tall. I normally buy the rockstar ... because I love the way it fits my body. I have never tried the coloured ... though and decided to buy the watermelon and white in a size 12 tall. When my ... arrived I was very disappointed, the material is not what I expected and the ... were very very tight. The length was perfect though. I advise anyone buying this ... buy atleast a size up.

What The ___?!
Okay, so I was soooo excited to get these ... just had a baby and need o good one or two pairs of ... fit me until I get back to my normal size. I'm 5'11, so I tried on some ... store found my size and ordered them online in the tall section. I literally just tried these ... sooooo disappointed. First of all, I have no idea how ... could pass as "Tall" when they fit me SHORTER than the regular sizes fit me in the store! And second, I thought ... were supposed to flatter your shape. ... seriously have no type of support and just make everything "Flop" so not attractive. ... far the WORST ... have ever bought in my life and I am so sad about it. I loved the light blue color and I really had high expectations for ... Looks like Ill be returning ... cancelling the order of my other pair. No wonder they are on sale now, ... piece of ____ ... aren't even worth the sale price. Never again will I trust the "Tall" sizes of Old Navy. I would give it 0 stars but that isn't an option.

Diva''s fit guys great also
I'm a guy and I bought a pair of these to see if they would fit me better than all the ugly baggy ... made for guys. These fit great! I'm 6', 160 lbs, around 36" hips and I bought these in a size 6 tall and they fit perfect. These aren't your typical skinny ... make your calves look tiny and just dumb on guys. These ... more of a tapered straight leg, at least that's how this pair fits me. And there is room in the front due to the stretch, it doesn't look obsene at all. Old Navy would sell a lot more of these ... guys if they had a different name. Just rename them to something like "rocker" and put them in the mens dept. and they would sell! I hope this helps the guys out there that are on the fence about ordering a pair.

If you get them in BlackJack, Size DOWN!
As I mentioned previously, I got these ... store in Dawn in a 20 reg and they fit, even though I am ALWAYS at least an 18 Long if not a Tall. (I am 5'10" and an 18-20) So I ordered them in Blackjack in the same size and got COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ... Huge and wayyyy too short. So I sent them back and ordered an 18 Long....Finally ... fit! Though they are a little short in the rise, but that's OK as I always wear my shirts nice and long so it's not an issue for me. Finally happy with my new black ...

Perfect Pair of ...
I absolutely LOVE these ... O.N. seems to miss the mark sometimes in their sizing...often I find my size may be a little tight in one thing, and a little loose in another. But these they got right on target....they fit me like a glove! They are cute and stylish and can be worn in a versatile amount of ways. I prefer dark wash ... which these are a nice dark tone. I am 5'3" tall, but I have found that in ... have better luck with my size in regular short vs. the petite size. The petite size is a little too short in length...especially in ... think if you are under 5'2" or under, then the petite length would work better for you.

I am six foot tall and it is a very happy day that I find a pair of ... actually come down to my ankles. I was very pleasently surprised how well these fit and the quality is also good! The ... do come up a bit higher then I was expecting, but Im not a fan of low rise so that was also a very pleasent surpise. I have been telling all of my friends about these ... because I normally pay $70 for a good pair of ... (being tall I always have to order online) and I'm really glad I decided to give these a try!

I have to admit, I usually don't like Old Navy ... They usually aren't long enough or fit in the waist but not in the hips or... or... or... There's always a reason they just don't fit right. That's been my experience with Old Navy ... But I wanted another pair of skinny ... these were on sale, so I thought, "What the heck! I'll try them!" But pretty much expected I'd be sending them back. But I'm keeping these! I'm tall (about 6') and a size 12 or 14 in ... depending on the brand. I ordered these in a 14, and I really, really like the fit. They're slimming and super comfortable. Also, being tall, I love how long they are!! (I got them in tall.) I feel great in them, and I'm pleasantly surprised to like a pair of Old Navy ... so much! The only criticism I have (and it's a small one) is that they're not that fitted to my legs and at the ankle. I still tucked them into a pair of boots, though, and liked the look a ton. Can't wait to wear them with some cute flats!

pretty nice ...
I am typically not a fan of skinny ... but since these were such a great price I decided to give them a try. I needed a pair of black ... so I got my usual size in the black, 2P. I have athletic legs and slim hips so skinny ... can be a real challenge. These actually fit quite well. The waist is a tiny bit big, but I prefer that over one that is too small. I like the low rise (not too low), and these fit close in the thighs and calves without being skin tight. I also like that they are not teeny at the ankle. When you have larger calves, skinny ankles just make your legs look bigger. My only complaint is that these are much too long. I'm 5' tall, so I would not be surprised if they were a little long, but we're talking several inches here. I'm not sure if these are a regular length with the wrong size in them (would not be the first time) or if they are just super long. I don't want them scrunched at the ankle so I will probably hem them. I may try another size (short length instead of petitie) just ot see if they work better. You never know - I bought two pairs of ... BR, one in petite and one in short, and the short was actually shorter. Anyway, for the price I think these are definitely worth a try, and are more flattering than true 'skinny' ... those of us who don't have skinny legs.

Pretty great ...
I am a tall curvy woman, and I had read the reviews, many of which said to size down. I usually wear a 12L in ... so I ordered the 10L. I have never ordered ... before but I was very pleased with the cut and quality of these ... They fit perfectly and are very flattering on my curvy body. I'm not sure if I would classify them as true skinny ... calf is a little loose, but I actually find that balances off my hips and thighs quite nicely. My only issue is that I think the rise was (for me) a little low but they were not available in the tall size. I may purchase another pair in the tall.

Pretty Awesome!
I love these ... most part! I'm 6' and wear a size 18 tall in most ON ... I've received a lot of compliments wearing these ... however, ON ... always a little big on top for me, but if I get a size down then the bottom half doesn't fit. For once in my entire life, these ... just a little too long, but I'm kind of hoping they'll shrink a little when I wash them. Buy them. They are a great deal!

Their ok, but have a few issues.
I went to Old Navy and purchased a pair of these ... am a tall and slender women so length and waist size is important in trying to find ... not too big in the waist or too short in length. I am usually a size 12. I purchased a size 12 of these, the length was good overall, but the waist was a little too big. I decided to try and buy a size smaller, so I got a size 10. The waist on those was perfect, but now the length was too short! I really wish there was in between sizes made, if there was an 11 I bet that would have fit me perfectly! I ended up returning the size 10, and with some of that money I bought a black Women's belt from Old Navy they luckily had some in store so I didn't have to buy online. The belt gave me a slight bump so if I wore any thin shirts it was noticeable. I can wear the ... now, but I must always wear a belt with them. It's funny but the Diva Bootcut ... size 10 fit me fine in both waist and length, so I think i'll stick to them if I want more ...

WHERE''S THE SKINNY!
These should not be classified as skinnuy ... far from it. These are boot cut ... aggree with all those who are frustrated with the sizing fluctuation with ON clothes. I wear a size 4, am 5 foot tall, about 102 LBs, and curvy. I bought a couple pair back in winter, and they fit fine, except even then I felt they were a bit too big in the bottom of the legs to be classifed as skinny, but dealt with it because they looked good. I recently purchased a couple more, and was very disppointed when I received these ... mail this morning. These fit nothing at all like the last ... purchased. They are simply huge, all over huge, they were not skinny anywhere. They were way big in the butt, way too long, and way wide in the botttom of the legs. Where is the skinny??

Perfect for manual labor work!!!
My fiance' now has 5 pairs of these painter ... work. He had 2 pair, and I just bought him 3 more pair. He is an electrician, and says they are perfect for his job!!!! Remember, they are work ... not going out on the town ... He is tall 36L and has always had a hard time finding ... long enough. They have held up to rigorous working conditions very well!

Purchased these ... my hubby to work in. He's an electrician so I figured the extra pockets and loop on the thigh would be great additions for him. He is 6'9" and 280lbs and we purchase all of his ... because the tall length (36") inseam fits him PERFECTLY. The ... fit perfectly and he loved them. Once again, THANKS ON!

I purchased these ... xmas present for my brother in-law who is 6'7 and they fit perfectly for him. Just what I was looking for to help bring his wardrobe into the new century. Would highly recommend these ... Old Navy for menswear for the big and tall man.

Great ... but they used to be better!
I got my husband a pair of these in 2010 and they are much heavier than the current ones which is disappointing because these ... fit great for a big tall guy who wears 36X36. I bought him a replacement pair in December and they've already split in the crotch however I was able to exhange them for the exact same pair in store.

Ordered 4 pairs of these ... my husband. We have always bought him loose Old Navy ... He is tall and thin and I always have to order his ... online. These ... were too tight in the thigh and had a very short rise and were very uncomfortable for him. Unfortunately these have to be returned.

Good value for the hard to-fit guy
Finding ... my tall, slim husband is tricky. These fit the bill. The wash is nice- dark, but not too dark. They are a very versatile ... Would recommend.

The best ...
Oh, my gosh - if you have a tall, slender teenager (or any guy for that matter) in your life, these are a lifesaver! We have spent hours looking for ... my slender yet gangly teen son, and these are a dream. Any place we've shopped we were told they do not make a 30x34. Old Navy has them, and at a great price. They look great on my son, and he says they are comfortable - and he is rather picky about how clothes feel. I cannot say enough good about these ... price. Thank you, Old Navy!!

Dark Wash ...

I purchased these ... my 16 year old son - he is 6' 4" tall and it's a bit difficult finding his size so we decided to give these ... shot and they fit great! He loves them and the length is perfect for his tall, slim build. Well made, great color, great fit overall and they wash well with very minimum shrinkage and very minimum fading.

I was very excited to find tall sizes on line. I ordered this pair of ... Unfortunately the waist was lacking a good inch. i don't know if it was the style or overall old navy fit. My son recently bought a pair of levis in the same size and they fit. Will try another pair at a different time in another style. I appreciated the free shipping over 50. Also my son returned them to the store with no hastle!

My son LOVEs these
We searched several stores trying to find ... fit my almost 12 year old. He is just in that stage where boys pants are too small and adult pants are too big. So we purchased a 29x30 as he is on the tall side. These are his favorite pants. We bought 2 pairs before Thanksgiving and he got another 2 pairs of Christmas. They keep getting softer with each wash. I always do my initial wash with ... dark clothing in vinegar alone as that sets the color. His dark wash are staying dark and not bleeding onto anything, and the colors are staying the color we purchased them. We have always been happy with ON ... continue to shop there for him.
