But, the price was right for a kid who stains everything the second time he wears it!!

my son loves theseI purchased these shirts for my son's school ... shirts have worn well over the course of the school year, with very hard wear from a 5 year old ... expected the shirts to fade substantially over the course of the year from repeated washing - I have not experienced any fade and minimal, if any, shrinkage. The collars have also not curled. My only criticism would be that I prefer a longer length, because he has to tuck his shirts in, but he needs a long, narrow shirt, so this might not be a problem for everyone. I keep buying these shirts because they are a great combination of value and durability, and my son prefers these over any others. I also wish ON offered more of a discount on the multi pack, as there is no real price advantage to buying the multi pack over individual shirts.
My Thoughts[...] I think I would keep shopping at Old Navy because of the prices, promotions, and representatives. I have a family of 5 little ... husband and myself and Im the only one working right now, so any little discount works because all 5 of my children go to school. Their ages are 10yrs, 8yrs, 7yrs, 6yrs, and 4 yrs. I need promotions like old navy's. I would make old navy my #1 ... store to shop at instead of [...]or any other retail store. I want to thank Old Navy for everything. I dont know how else to express how thankful Iam. I never thought I could afford to shop at Old Navy's. This actually my first time shopping there. Trust me I will be back. Thank you all soooo much.
Love Old Navy!My kids school requires school uniforms and I absolutely love the Old Navy uniforms. They are better quality than the [...] uniforms, yet they are less expensive. I bought Old Navy last year and they lasted all year long...and I have two ... they tend to be a little harder on clothes. Very impressed and I will continue to use Old Navy for back to school shopping and will definitely recommend to all my friends and co workers.

Great value but according to size chart the medium was the right size for my ... 6/7. The medium in person is HUGE! But I guess better to be big than too little and I'm sure after a couple washings it'll be right to size.
Very disappointed in the quality...I have four children and have purchased just about every brand of school uniform polo on the market. This one is the most cheaply made I've encountered. In our second week of school, they've worn each color twice. The collar edges are starting to curl up and will not lay down and one of the shirts already has a hole because of an unraveling seam.

Great, simple shirtThis is a nice fitting long sleeved golf shirt. Perfect for those occasions where you want to be a little dressed up, but not in a button down. It is comfortable enough that my son will actually wear it to school as well. Good value when you need a shirt with no logos or writing on it.

Most long sleeved polos I find are either too short and boxy, or very long and slim. Reliable Work Shirt Very Satisfied!I just recently got a job as a server and needed some oxford shirts for ... I'm a petite girl (5'2") and I was swamped in all the men's shirts I was trying on. I asked some girls at work who were similar to ... size how ... found shirts to fit, and ... suggested getting ... sized shirts in XXL husky, for a little extra room in the chest. To be honest, when I received them, ... were just as big as the men's small shirts I had tried before. I forgot that Old Navy usually runs a little bigger (I usually wear a medium in most brands, but can easily fit into a women's extra small in Old Navy stuff). The chest said 34 inches, but ... bra size is 36B and I had lots of room to spare. I went ahead and re ordered XL husky because I was still worried about room in the chest, and these fit much better (so I returned the others). The length was much shorter and the sleeves/chest were slightly more fitting. I probably could have gotten away with the regular XL, but ... were out of stock. Overall I realized that these shirts are for ... so ... aren't going to be a slimmer women's style fit that I kind of wanted. Either way, ... extremely comfortable and durable for work; the extra room is nice to have when I'm moving around. ... wash nicely (stains come out easily!) but yes, ... MUST be ironed. For the price as well, you can't beat it!

Hard To FindMy son wears husky sizes and it's always hard to find a size to fit him neatly. I was skeptical about ordering my sons' school uniforms online but it was the best decision I've ever made. Great for dress up or ... My son has a dress code for ... these shorts are the best for warm weather ... days. We live in Northeast Pennsylvania so we only get to wear them to ... during September, May and June, but they are still wonderful! They always look great no matter how many times they are washed and stains are easy to get out. They do not get picky or dull looking. The adjustable waistband is great. They are perfect for ... dress up. They need very little ironing and the price is great. Not sure about putting them in dryer. I always hang dry so I'm not familiar with their shrinkage if any.
My son needed some shorts for his ... They are a little big and long but they have an adjustable waist so it's ok. He also wears a belt with them. He should be able to wear them for two ... years. They don't look cheaply made like some of the other ... shorts.
Good ... shorts I bought these ... shorts for my son who is almost 6 for Kindergarten (purchased a Size 6). So far the shorts have worked out well although ... little longer than I expected (although it doesn't bother him). The adjustable waist is nice, as is the fastener at the waist. It seems easier for my son to close by himsself than a snap or button would be. I've washed them several times and they've seemed to wash up nicely.

Thumbs up from my boysI had 2 pairs of shorts out - one of these and a different kind. Both of my boys wanted to wear the one from Old Navy. They don't know anything about labels - they just liked the way they looked and felt. The waist was a little large but that gives them more room to grow into.

two packThese are great shorts - longer than Gap, which my boys like. But it's unfortunate that they are sold as uniform shorts in two packs of khaki and navy. Most uniforms that I know of don't include multicolored bottoms. They are either khaki, or navy. Not both. So I had to buy the navy that they will never wear because I was up against the wall with size availability. Love the length though so it was worth it I guess.
ok shortsI bought this shorts for my 6 years old son. He is starting to wear clothes size 6, but these ones on size 6 are way too big. Good thing they have the elastic waist! Fabric is ok, not too thick which I would prefer for durability. At this time of year (February) was hard to find shorts for school uniforms though, so it was nice to find them online.

Be aware - Navy AND KhakiThe stores were sold out of my son's size. We were in a jam and needed extra uniform shorts. In my haste, I ordered a 2-pack (it was a little cheaper than ordering them individually), picked the navy color box and placed the order. Much to my surprise I recieved one Khaki and one Navy pair of shorts. Before calling customer service I went back and reviewed the item online and in the "overview" section it does state one navy and one khaki. Most school uniform/dress code policies that I'm aware of are for EITHER navy or khaki. This was very disappointing. My son now has one one extra pair for school and a "dress" pair of khaki shorts for church. Why would I have to select a "color" if they are sold together? I find that odd. [...] two packs are always the same color and style so it is my fault for believing the same would be true with Old Navy's 2-pack. With that said, we do like the shorts and I am especially happy that they are offered with an adjustable waist band. This is a MAJOR asset.

I would never buy another pair and will stick with the Gap pants. ... little bit more expensive but not really since I won't be buying a new pair every three weeks!

I''ve come back to these time and again for ... The Old Navy ... pants are tops in my book. I bought these for my older child when he needed ... first place I went to now that my younger child needed them. I love the adjustable waistbands. The length is just a tad longer than other brands. I like this because I know it will last the year. On the smaller sizes (up to size 6) they have the hook instead of the button; making it easier for little people to get their "business" taken care of when nature calls. I would say the only way Old Navy could improve on these is to reinforce the knees. I'll still keep buying them!
Perfect pants for ... Well made and durable. Has an adjustable waistband, which I love. Also doesn't have any buttons to button, the waistband is actually a metal slide clasp, which is easy for little ... put on.

I like the fact that the pants are 100 percent cotton next to my kids' skin. Also, they wear well and look nice right out of the dryer. They wash well and don't need to be ironed but seem to really pick up a lot of lint throughout the day at ... Overall they are nice and my son is comfortable in them. Best feature is they have the sliding closure not a button which is hard for the little ones to deal with sometimes.

The size 7 was huge on the little one. Last year the younger son was a size 6 but somehow the size 7 this year was just really oversized. The size 10 was way too big for the 9 year old but even the size 8 was sort of big. I kept the 8 and hoped they would shrink. No dice, they actually did not shrink! So I'll have them for the mid year when he most likely will move up a size but I ended up having to order more pants.
Soft, sturdy twill and a pleated front make these versatile pants easy to dress up or down. Great for school uniforms, too!

I''ve come back to these time and again for ... The Old Navy ... pants are tops in my book. I bought these for my older child when he needed ... first place I went to now that my younger child needed them. I love the adjustable waistbands. The length is just a tad longer than other brands. I like this because I know it will last the year. On the smaller sizes (up to size 6) they have the hook instead of the button; making it easier for little people to get their "business" taken care of when nature calls. I would say the only way Old Navy could improve on these is to reinforce the knees. I'll still keep buying them!
Perfect pants for ... Well made and durable. Has an adjustable waistband, which I love. Also doesn't have any buttons to button, the waistband is actually a metal slide clasp, which is easy for little ... put on.
finally!!!!!These pants are excellent as ... holiday use. They were a little long but as all kids grow so fast, I won't even bother to have them hemmed. My son loves the fit and comfort ...which for me...is tough to get him in 'dress' pants and not sweats !! As always , Old Navy came through for me in a size that is difficult to find. I only wish I could but them in store.
Hoping for durability,but the fit is great!!!My son is 12 yrs. old,about 5 ft. tall , thin,but not skinny, and fills out the "rear" of his pants.. We bought sz. 16 & w/ the adjustable waistband these pants fit him wonderfully,(just enough growing room in the length too).!!! Worried about the knee area as the fabric seems a little flimsy, but am hoping for the best. My son says they are very comfi and they look great on him!
Love Old Navy!My kids ... requires ... absolutely love the Old Navy ... They are better quality than the Walmart ... yet they are less expensive. I bought Old Navy last year and they lasted all year long...and I have two ... they tend to be a little harder on clothes. Very impressed and I will continue to use Old Navy for back to ... shopping and will definitely recommend to all my friends and co workers.
Nice Pants!Bought these pants for my son for ... they have to wear kahki pants and a collared shirt. The quality is great and they look very nice on him and he says they are very comfortable. He usually wears a size 12 in other brands...but he wears a size 10 in these...so I would say they run a little big. Great buy!
Love the ON ... Pants We have been buying our ... few years now but this is the first time we have bought these pants. I bought a size 8 for my 8 year old. I like the fact that the pants are 100 percent cotton next to my kids' skin. Also, they wear well and look nice right out of the dryer. Son Lives in them!My 14 year old son has never liked jeans or sweats, these pleated front pants are his preferred style. He wears them every day to school, and they look brand new after coming out of the laundry. The price is great, he must have 7 or 8 pairs now!

Very nice pants for school at a good priceWe have had these pants for about three weeks and so far are very happy with them. They wash well and only shrunk a little bit. This was fine for me because my son is very slim!! As far as durability, time will tell. He is not very rough on his clothes and only wears them to school. They look nice, they are very soft, and he says they are comfortable!! I would definitely purchase these pants again.
Great school uniform pantsMy son attends a charter school where he is required to wear a uniform. I have bought pants from many different places, but these ON pants are the most durable I have found and my son's favorite as far as comfort and fit. I love the adjustable waistband and the hook and eye closure. The fabric is soft and wears well even in the knees with an active ... am glad I found these and will continue to buy them for uniform bottoms.
Love the adjustable waist!!!I bought these for my 7 yr old, for school. These are great because of the adjustable waist, we have a hard time finding him pants that are long enough and that fit around the waist (usually the waist is WAY too big). The adjustable waist makes life alot easier for us!! Plus, the pants are easy to get the stains off of!!

Decent valueI bought these for my son's school uniform. They seem like a decent value and look nice enough for other uses.
lower qualityI bought these pants last year and this year. The quality is getting worse. My 7 yr old had holes in the knees within a month of school. They are thin and do seem to fade slightly. I am purchasing again to get through the rest of the school year (hopefully) but I wish the fabric was more durable.
Lacking in durabilityI buy these pants for my 7yr old son every year for school. Last year, the quality seemed to have lessened to some extent. I had to replace two pair before the end of the winter. This year, I bought three pair. Before midterm, the knees ripped in two pair. I know he plays rough (he's a seven year old, its expected) but they should last longer than that. I recommend the Gap pants at this point. They are thicker and just better quality. Sad they come from the same company. But, I guess you get what you pay for.
Not durableI would not recommend this pants for uniforms. They may be okay for the occasional wear ( a couple times out of the year) but not for repetitive wear. I bought three pair at the beginning of the school year and one pair already has holes and the others could have holes any day now. They didn't even last until Christmas. This is our first year buying uniforms. I have been recommended to try another local store whose uniform pants are very thick and durable.
Not drableWe usually buy Old Navy products so when my 5 year old started kindergarten we thought surely these would be good pants. In fact, they are not. The knees on these pants started fading almost immediately. Within two months the knee has ripped on 2 out of 5 pair we bought. What a waste of money. I realize boys will be ... but 2 months is pitiful. I absolutely will not be buying these again.

Great price for a basic shirtThis is a good everyday shirt for a kid. The subtle green heather print on the fabric makes it look like the fabric was cut on the bias. I had to look closely to see that the knit fabric was actually cut correctly, but it looks a little weird. Maybe only people who sew would notice this, but it makes the shirt look like it was cheaply made. Perhaps the other colors don't look this way. However, the price was fantastic and I don't regret the purchase.
A yearly must haveI need to write about this t shirt I bought for my oldest son. I love the color, he loves the color and yet it is not a dark boring color. Dark enough were it hides a stain or two, but not like the ugly black or navy blue clothes out there. I wish there were more items like this, it's a standard tee every year for him. I think it's mice for ... have some classics! Since when do ... have to dress with all the junk all over their shirts. I think less is more, it can be an every day shirt or put on with cute plaid shorts and dressed up. It looks like a big ... teenager shirt but without making them look old. I only wish you would always carry this and a few other shirts every year. It does pill a little, but for $5-7 I can not complain. Please keep this and the white ringer with navy collar/ arm bands forever!!! I have 3 of these blue ones this year xs,s,med. I will keep buying one size up as my son grows just incase!!

Alternate UsersI'm of girl of small build and stature. I find these shirts are great mid way through my pregnancy. At a third of the price of regular pregnancy shirts (that would still be too big for me at 5 months) this is a good alternative when you're too big for your regular clothes, and you're not yet ready for maternity clothes.
PLEASE REMOVE THE POLYESTERPlease go back to 100% cotton for these. They wore so nicely and lasted forever. Now they are hotter, get a little scratchy and pill a little.

again, these seemed a little on the small end for XS ... shirts. I was hoping they would be a bit bigger to last through the entire winter and I'm not sure they will. maybe my expectation for XS is off, but they were boarder line fitting my 6 year old son, avg. height and skinny.
Great price for basic shirts.I bought these mainly for under shirts. They are perfect. I usually don't have complaints about Old Navy clothes. I know the sizes for my kids.
I was so happy to find these shirts in a bundle! I purchased them for back to school for my son, and set them aside to wash when it was closer to the first day. When I opened the package, two of the shirts were the correct size, one was way too small. Of course this was after the 45 day mark. All I can do now is pass it down. Disappointing, and will not be bundling any future purchases.

Crew Sock ReviewI ordered my 5-year old grandson two packages of the small crew socks. There wasn't a size chart to compare the size of sock to shoe size. Since he had just turned 5 and was just beginning to wear "boys" sizes, I ordered the small. They looked fine in the package but after washing, they shrunk and he can't wear them. If there had been a size chart, I would have purchased the proper size. Also, there should be BOLD PRINT warning of the major amount of shrinkage.
