maternity yoga pants - reviews

Ahhhh! So comfy :)I had to retire my normal yoga capris and get these ... yoga capris and I'm ever so happy I did. They're the perfect length (I'm 5'5") and not too tight or too loose. Jut right. The fold over panels usually bother me because they move around too much, but not this one. I think every pregnant woman should have at least one pair of these.

Awesome, wish I would have purchased soonerI wear a med in ON yoga pants and a med in ... worked perfectly! It is so nice to have something that fits appropriately for the gym or for casual outings! very comfortable and the material is the same as the regular yoga pants! I wish I would have purchased 2 pairs when I purchased these.

So comfy! These are seriously the most comfortable yoga/exercise pants I have ever put on in my life, ... otherwise. I wore a size 6 pre preg. and ordered a small, which was perfect. I will definitely be ordering another pair!

just what i neededSo I am in third trimester and this is probably going to be my last baby so I was rather reluctant to purchase any new ... clothing. I really wish I had utilized ON's ... early on and during my first pregnancy they really have a nice selection at great prices. And stuff is well made. These pants are so comfy and yes they do run big normally - normally I would have ordered a medium but after reading the reviews I ordered a small and thatis perfect. I know i am already wearing them out. VERY HAPPY

Very comfortable!Pre pregnancy 5'9" 150 lbs, I wore an ON size 6 or Med. I ordered a size up, large, in these pants so that I would have room to grow. I'm currently 21 weeks and 163 lbs. The pants are definitely loose, but I know I have plenty of belly left to grow and wanted something that would last until the end. The material is very soft and stretchy. I wear these pants to run errands without feeling like they are too tight. I can also wear them on walks or to do a workout DVD. I also ordered the ... fold over waistband yoga shorts in a size large and love them! I could certainly wear a medium in both at this point, but welcome the soft, loose feel of these pants. I highly recommend them and look forward to putting them on each day after work!

I'm 5'1 and only about 120 lbs in my third trimester, I have a hard time purchasing ... pants because nothing ever fits me right. When i opened the pants I was very nervous because they looked HUGE! After trying them on I was shocked to find they fit! a little longer on me and a little looser than I would like them to be but i was suprised how much they did fit. I would say def true to size as I ordered XS. excited to find a pair of pants I can actually wear and very comfortable!

long for my likingThe best thing about old navy: if you are a medium pre pregnancy, the ... medium will fit you great. I got a pair of the ... pants early on in my pregnancy and they were a little loose... but not too long into my second trimester I've done some expanding in places other than my belly and they fit perfectly :)) The only drawback to these is for my shorter frame (5'5") they fall right between my knee and the top of my shoe. They would be more flattering hitting just below the knee but that can always be fixed. Otherwise for the price... totally worth it!

Ok, but bigThese are ok, but not great. The fit is a little off in the front area, if you know what I mean. But, that might be because they are a little big. They also aren't as comfortable as my Gap gbalance ... yoga pants, because of the fit issues. I went a size down, based on other reviews. They were still too big. I put them in the dryer, which helped, but then they stretched back out as I wore them. I think I'd say go one size down if you want them to last the entire pregnancy. If you won't be wearing them the whole time or are in the early stages of pregnancy, you could probably go two sizes down and not put them in the dryer. To give you an idea, I'm 21 weeks and 135 pounds now. Pre pregnancy, I wore a medium in most workout bottoms, a 4 or 6 in Gap jeans and shorts, and a 29 in designer denim. I ordered the small. I will say they are thick, so hide imperfections better than some other pants. Also, a friend of mine has these and they have lasted her the entire pregnancy. No pilling or fading. That says a lot, so hopefully they grow on me. It's also why I'm giving them 4 stars, instead of 3.

Got the regular yoga capris insteadI ordered these because I have the regular yoga capris from last year and I really liked them, but when I received the ... style they were longer in the leg and the material was thinner. They were not very flattering on the rear and clung in all the wrong places. I ended up sending these back and ordered the regular ladies yoga capris in a size up from my normal and they are much better. They have thicker fabric which looks much more flattering and they are cut in a way that just looks better in general.

Want to wear Yoga Mom Jeans? Buy these. :(These fit horribly. I don't usually write reviews, but when prompted my the e mail from Old Navy, I wanted to note that these pants are not flattering and not that comfortable. They are bulky, the seams are tight and they fit oddly. I feel like I am wearing mom jeans in yoga pants. I don't recommend them - they don't really fit like the picture depicts. I like something clean and comfortable, without feeling like I have layers. The fold over is too thick. I wish they could offer the GOGA pants in ... - those I do like.

Absolutely huge22 weeks with baby #2 and desperate for some high waisted (read: roll top) ... capris for the gym. Having spent way too much time pouring over reviews and scouring the web for the perfect preggie workout ... finally pulled the trigger, but I guess I should have known better than to order these bad boys as big as I did. I'm a medium in my non pregnant state but tend to get HUGE, especially in the 3rd trimester, and I wanted something that would allow me to hit the treadmill and elliptical without fear of a pregnant muffin top, so I held my breath and ordered a large. Big mistake. No muffin tops in sight, but what remains is a gaping, baggy mess of fabric which, while lovely quality and perfectly stretchy, is just not going to cling tight enough to wear while active until, oh, I'm thinking 37 weeks or so. They don't even stay up while I'm in motion! Big fat disappointment. Especially considering the inconsistency of this item's sizing compared to their other ... pants, and the hassle of mailing back an exchange and paying yet more shipping fees. Guess I'll save them for labor day...

the PERFECT lounge around/workout shortsThese pants, like the rest of the reviews say, are WONDERFUL. They fit perfectly, are super comfortable. I have nothing negative to say about them at all! I'll be wearing the the entire summer, I can already tell. (I bought them in gray and black). They are one of my best ... purchases!

Love these for lounging after work.I wear scrubs all day at work, and don't like to go straight to pj's when I get home since it's only 8pm. These shorts or super comfy, and will definitely work post pregnancy as well since they are like yoga pants on the top and aren't overtly ... Nice lounge y addition to my ... wardrobe.

Great shorts but...These yoga shorts are the best I have found for a pregnant woman. They fit me very well in my sixth month but I am not totally sure they will work through until the end. I feel they could of been made a little bigger. The fold over waist is great and fits perfect now but it could have even a half inch more room and that would be better. Also, I have literally no hips or butt. Very narrow build. I would say if you are curvy you may want to go a size up from the start. I ordered a small and these are definitely smaller than other ... smalls that old navy makes. I am currently about 135 pounds and normally about 120. So far I've really only gained in the belly. I will consider ordering these in medium too for the end.. they are just barely ever in stock!!

finally - affordable yoga shortsEverywhere I looked I could only find yoga capris or full length pants. Finally, I found yoga shorts that work for my frame. At 5'2", 134 lbs. and 8 1/2 months pregnant, I am still able to wear these in an XS. (I think Old Navy sizes tend to run large overall. I had ordered these in a S but they were huge in the rear and leg.) They're comfy and fit just right so there's no pulling, tugging, gaping, or cutting in when I work through my various poses. And since I purchased them on sale, they were a steal!

Good work out shortsThese are great, comfortable shorts. I had read reviews and am glad I got a large -- the mediums might feel a little tight. (Before pregnancy I was roughly a size 6, 5' 8'', and 140 pounds. Now I'm typically in medium ... gear -- not too huge for this far in the game). I like these for light running and lifting and will be glad to have them to wear on weekends for the spring. Might feel uncomfortable doing yoga in them with others around because of width of the legs but they are great for active wear in general.

Confortable, great for exercise.I ordered these shorts to wear to my yoga class. I was looking for a tighter fitting short that was still comfortable in the waist and these work great. Based on previous reviews I ordered a size up (from a M to a L) and they are somewhat baggy... probably could have gotten away with my regular size for a yoga class, but definitely order up if you'd prefer them to be less form fitting. I am at the start of my 3rd trimester and will be able to wear these through the end of my pregnancy. My only complaint is they are a couple inches shorter than I would like them to be in the legs. But, that is personal preference.

So comfy!I really like these yoga shorts! They are super comfy and will be great to wear around the house or to work out. I have been getting a size M in all other ... clothes, but I had to get a size L in these so I agree with other reviews that say order a size up. I am 25 weeks, 5'9" and 152 lbs. The size L has a little room and I can see being able to wear these for many more weeks and likely the rest of my pregnancy.

Good quality but smaller fitAs some of the other reveiwers have mentioned - these shorts definitely run small. I am currently in my late 3rd trimester and bought these shorts to wear around the house now and for after the baby comes when I am still trying to get back to my pre baby shape. The quality of construction and the fabric are both great but they are definitly on the tight side. For reference, before I got pregnant I wore a size M in any kind of Old Navy shorts/yoga pants etc. I ordered the ... roll down capri yoga pants in a size L and while they were big in my 2nd trimester, they now fit well - comfortable but not tight. I ordered these shorts in a L due to other reviews and am glad I did. They are very fitted right now - and I can't really attribute this to my being so far along in the pregnancy since they do not fit the same way my other Old Navy yoga ... pants do. They are very comfortable although fitted - I plan on wearing them a lot but I would not wear them outside the house (at least not yet). Recommend them for the price and quality and comfort.

Order size up!These shorts were much smaller than I expected. Almost all of my other ON ... bottoms are size M and fit well, including the yoga capris. But these shorts were too tight in size M. Otherwise, they are as expected, I will be exchanging them for size L.

Comfortable, but not soft enoughThese are basic yoga shorts. They're pretty comfortable, although the fabric is a lot stiffer and tougher then I expect from yoga shorts. I'm only in the early second trimester, so these shorts fit perfectly, and I like to sleep in them!

unlike most Old Navy clothes...Most of the time I need to buy clothes from ON that are a size smaller than I would typically buy at the Gap or other stores. In this case, I needed to exchange the shorts for my regular size. I have the full yoga pants that I love and so I was hoping the yoga shorts would be made the same way. Just makes sure to buy your regular size instead of a size down. I exchanged these.

maternity yoga pants - reviews

PerfectI read the other reviews and sure am glad that I did. Normally I would wear a M in ... pants, but I sized down to a S and these were perfect. I'm 20 weeks pregnant, 5'4", and 140lbs, and these are the perfect length, so they may be a little short on taller women. These are my go to leggings to wear with any dress, tunic, or longer shirt. They are a little thicker than your normal leggings which is a plus as they are not see through (as many inexpensive leggings can be), but they may be a little much for the hot AZ summer in a month or two.

Great for post delivery belly flab and C section scarsI'm not sure how these pants would work during pregnancy since there really is no belly panel and because I ordered them a few weeks after I gave birth. But they are GREAT for after delivery when you still have belly flab and can't fit into your old pants. They're also great because they don't rub against the "cut" from my C section. I wear a size 12 or 14 and am about 5' 7" and the Large fits perfectly.

The Perfect LeggingThese are wonderful leggings!! Some leggings I have are some what transparent (I always worry people can see my underwear!), but these are thick and provide full coverage. I LOVE them! I am 5'2" and found the length in the Small to be perfect. The panel is low so I do have to pull them up every once in a while, but that is expected with most ... pants. Would recommend for entire pregnancy.

Get what you pay forAnytime you buy things in a "pack of 2" be prepared that the quality isn't going to be great. They are a little thin, so I would be afraid to wear them in bright sunlight for fear someone could see thru them. My old navy ... pants are made from better material. But, with a long top and boots, I will wear them anyway for the next few months.

A little shortThese fit fine, but are just about an inch or two higher on my ankle than I like. I like leggings to be below the ankle, and maybe even scrunch just a tiny bit at the bottom. I wear all of my pants low, especially ... pants, and although these sit low on the hips, the crotch seems to hang a little low as well (almost like panty hose when you don't quite get them on right, or if they are too small...) I kept them because they are fine, just not my fav.

Not what I was expecting. I was looking for something to wear legging wise because I am between sizes. I'm too big for my regular pants and too small for traditional ... jeans. So someone suggested the Old Navy ... Leggings and to order my normal size. But these were way too big -loose in the hips and the top of the leggings fell over on me. The fit was awful. I would not recommend these to anyone. The fit and style is just not flattering, nor does it fit like the size chart states.

Overall I like these. I'm 37+ weeks and the waist is wonderful! However, I am 5'8" and these are capri length on me. They are fine for wearing with tall boots or in the spring/summer. I really wish ON would expand their selection of Tall or Long Length on pants.
Poor qualityThese have no elasticity (legs) whatsoever. By the time I reached the train what was there of elasticity had gone away and I was holding up my pants. The waist is fine since I'd rather not have anything hugging my stomach right now but these pants need more on the legs to keep them up!
