mens boot cut jeans - reviews

Seven year fan of these jeans! My hubby has been wearing ON Boot Cut jeans for seven or eight years now. He wears 38x32, and these are very flattering on him. ON re did the fit a few years ago - nice improvement while not drastic change. I purchase about 3-4 pairs of them for him per year, since he wears them almost every day and his active job (computer and AV installs) is very hard on his clothes. Eventually the knees of these ... tears, and he converts them to knee length cut off shorts for working around the garage. I get him a dark wash, so they can be dressy or casual. As a pair ages (and after tons of repeat washes), they do eventually get a bit baggier, and the color fades just a tad, so he tends to keep one "newer" pair for going out a bit dressier (so they are still dark and more fitted), and a couple older pairs for everything else. HIghly recommend.

Great price for good ... I use to spend $200 on ... which I no longer wear because they were great back in the days but now no one cares for them. For some reason I can only wear boot cut ... snatched these up for less than thirty dollars. These are great ... ordered four in long because I prefer to have them hemmed.

Really nice jeansI always order my jeans from oldnavy.com I am always satisfied with delivery, fit, and quality. The only issue/complaint that i have is that when oldnavy has promotional sales, they often exclude their mens jeans. Other than that I'm satisfied.

Good jeans, but don''t quite fit like I''d hopedI went w/ the low rise boot cut in 34x36 from ON.com. I probably should have looked at the regular rise boot cut.... I like the length, but the butt and thigh seem a little tight when sitting. I've tried on the other styles, but am not a big fan of them. I still think I like the overall fit on these better than the other ON jeans.

boot cut jeans need looser thighsI admit to having large thighs, but the boot cut jeans made them seem larger as they were VERY TIGHT until the fabric stretched out several hours later. Other than that, I really like the boot cut jeans.

You get what you pay for.The jeans are worth the price, but not by much. The denim is thin and the zipper just feels flimsy. They fit well, but the boot cut on the bottom of the leg is too big in my opinion. I always wear boot cut jeans and I compared these to all my others. OldNavy boot cut jeans were 1" wider at the bottom of the leg then my largest boot cut jean. I think I will have to bring them in and have them taken in about an inch and a half. They look more like bell bottom jeans than a boot cut jean.

They Have Changed Something!!!!First time I have purchased a pair of jeans in 3 years, and old navy has always been my brand of choice. I own two extra loose cut pair of Old Navy jeans which the style has been discontinued, and two pair of boot cut jeans. These new boot cut jeans I have just purchased are a bit tight in the thigh area. My older boot cut jeans from Old Navy have a little more room/relax feel to their boot cut jean, than this new boot cut style. Not sure why Old Navy has changed the way they make their style jeans but I am very disappointed. Thier present loose cut should be called their boot cut jean, and they need to bring back their extra loose cut jean because in my opinion they presently do not have a true loose cut jean. Until they figure it out, I will be looking for a different brand of jean to meet all of my needs.

boot cut, almost notThese were more loose at the bottome than we thought that they would be. I bought boot cut but these are a little more wide than expected, maybe more like work boot cut.

These run bigIt has been a while since I purchased any Old Navy ... but decided to try again recently. I'm 6'3, 245 lbs. and have really just had to try and shop at every store possible to find a pair of pants that fit without looking huge or looking like capri pants. My waist is usually a 38 or 40 depending on the ... I'm usually a 34L or 36R in length, again depending on the manufacturer and cut. I tried on a pair of 40X34 in the store and they were tight through the seat and waist and short in length. So I asked to go up a size in waist and length, which they did not have in store. They ordered me a pair in a boot cut to the size I asked and when I recieved them, they were too big in the waist and seat and very long. So overall, there seem to be big jumps in their sizes. Good quality, poor sizing for a big guy.
Bad FitThe distance between groin and belt on these ... too short. If I let them sit as they want to, the cuffs hang below my heels and my boxer briefs' waistband goes completely uncovered. If I pull them up high enough to avoid tripping on the cuffs and cover my underwear, they become rather ...uncomfortable... in the groin. The waist is also too loose for the size I ordered, though that is less of a problem if you wear a belt. Overall, a bad fit for ... bit surprising, because the Old Navy boot cut ... few years ago fit quite well.)
