I bought this for my husband even though he was very much against ON dress ... (He feels the quality has really gone down since they opened) He was actually very impressed with the comfort and fit of the shirt and you can't beat the price!

a true classic
it's so hard to find a good classic oxford shirt like which doesn't cost the proverbial arm and leg. i would favorably compare this to the ... polo horse for a third of the price.

Perfect
Button downs go for like 69.99. This is a good deal. Shirt is heavy. Good for winter. Not a summer shirt. Great shirt. Better quality than expected.

MORE COLOR CHOICE!!
I love this shirt but have 2 little gripes: 1. Is there away to add more color choices to the line, I already have a lot of these shirts in ALL colors (pink, blue, darker blue etc) that I have purchased over the years. Can your design team get a little more innovative w/color choice, whilst still maintaining the fit etc. I love this item and would buy it 2-3 times a year if there were more color updates. 2. I have these ... dry cleaned (I wear them to work) but the buttons always disintegrate especially the collar buttons. Is there a way to afford a higher quality button and maintain the price......actually, I would pay a little more if you increased that quality. Thanks!

You get what you pay for
Once upon a time I bought two of these ... - years ago. They wore like iron, felt great to wear, just like the premium Hyde Park ... sold at [@] - those are $50 now. As time has past the OldNavy price is the same, but the weight of the fabric is a lot lighter. The shirt is still a good quality value, especially when on sale, but certainly not what it used to be.

Quality and sizing has changed from good to poor.
I had to return a button down shirt that I got for my husband in the usual large. He was very uncomfortable in it, matter of fact he couldn't wear it. I came home with a new XL regular fit, so far so good. I'm heading back to ON again today to return another shirt I bought him, he finally tells me it too is uncomfortable and tight. I think that after I return this one it will be the last time I get my husband ON shirts. My husband is not a big man either. Medium build. I can pay the same price for better quality at many other stores. Sorry old navy, the quality has gone way down, and has shrunk. The plain tee shirts are paper thin as well, and run real small. What's going on Old Navy? I always loved ON stuff for my husband. Maybe the youngsters don't care as much about quality. I gave one star, because it forced me to. It's basically become throw away clothes.

Years ago we purchased your ... Oxford ... loved them. You changed the quality and sizing. Very disapointed! The other ... held up so well that my husband cut the sleeves off and uses them for yard work, (they were the same listed size but fit nicely) :(

From Great to Terrible
I rarely write a review but have to point out that I used to buy these ... all the time and loved them. The more recent quality has gone way down hill. Much smaller fit and thinner fabric.I'm really unhappy about it because the previous versions were great and I wish they would come back. Don't know who at Old Navy has an idea what is going on or if they even care. I hope so. Please listen to the customers. Thanks.

Prison Shirt is accurate
I thought from the picture that this would look like any other button up oxford type I had, but it actually looks like it's a denim shirt. One reviewer said prison shirt, and i think it's an accurate description as it looks like something out of a prison movie. I didn't try it on because i know i will be returning it. The shirt is not flat colored like the picture, it has a texture to it.

What happened to Old Navy Oxford?
Why so cheap and small? New Manangement? They outsourced to a cheaper place? The quality has gone way down hill The size is so skinny and the fabric is flimsy. I would pay more the for old versions. Old Navy must be ready for a close out because these oxford ... went from great to a joke.
