mens loose fit jeans - reviews

Great FitMy husband is a very slim man and is very active. He wears a 30"W 32"L, but in most ... thighs are too tight on him. He has to buy "relaxed fit" or "loose fit" and sometimes the ... still too tight in the thigh. I ordered these Old Navy Loose Fit ... him when they were on sale, just thought I'd give it a try. He loves them! They look good on him and are still loose on his thighs. Thank you Old Navy! I think we just found the ... we'll be buying from now on!

Perfect!I don't lift weights a much, but I am into athletic activities. I am tall and skinny, 6'3" and 200 pounds and wear a 32x36. My thighs are slightly muscular. That said, with the weird "skinny" jean craze, every pair of loose jeans I have bought are SKIN TIGHT but two!!. The best I found, "before now" that I could breath in was Banana Republics loose jean. Even they are a bit to snug. I didn't really need anymore jeans but gave these a try during a sale. All I can say is WOW! They are loose but not baggy. When I sit down, they legs remain slightly loose in the thighs! 36" is spot on for my long legs to. Something else, is I have a flat butt LOL! These are low rise but NOT super low like some. There just low enough that it actually makes me look like I have a butt :) Sooo, a loose, comfortable jean that DOESN'T SAG in the butt!!!! Absolutely Perfect!!!

Not For The Atheltic Build! What Happened To The Extra Loose Cut?I purchased this loose fit cut jean because Old Navy ended the Extra Loose style jean they use to produce. This was my first time purchasing a pair of jeans in about 3 years and Old Navy has always been my jean maker of choice. However, I like the Extra Loose Cut style jean Old Navy used to make. I have a very athetic build. I am 6'5' small waist, very muscular thighs and a large rear end. I tried the Loose Cut jean because Old Navy did away with the Extra Loose cut. To me this is basically the same style as their boot cut jean. I really can't see a difference. They are okay for maybe work if you work in a dress down environment and can wear jeans, or going out if you want a more fitted feel jean with a little room, but if if you are looking for a true relaxed, loose feel jean, this will not be it. Well not for those of you that can relate to my body style. Where is my extra loose cut jean Old Navy, looks like I am going to search for a new brand of jean from a different store.

Not very ... rear I bought these ... my husband online because he is a tall guy. 36 inch inseam. He hates tight pants, so I thought these would be ideal since they are ... fit". They are ... everywhere except the butt and fly area. They are super snug there, he is not the biggest fan of them. He will wear them, but I definitely expected them to be looser in the rear! I got him the straight ... too and to my surprise he loves them, they are nice and ... rear/fly area.

ON Denim 5 years ago vs. nowI replaced an old pair of Old Navy ... 5 years ago... the old ones were the best ... have ever owned - heavy duty denim, loose comfortable fit, look great. I tried replacing with the same 'style' that i owned & loved, 'straight leg' (ordered online). The fit was completely different from the old ... too tight on legs & hips. I had to now purchase 'loose fit' style for the same fit. O.N. will NOT let you exchange a 'straight fit' for a 'loose fit' (even though they are the same price) - this proved to be a MAJOR hassle for me. The new denim is now WAY thinner than the old ones. They look ok. So my shopping experience was terrible, ... worth about half of the 5 year old style imo. They aren't very good anymore, I'm going back to Levis.

Black magicI used to be crazy about Old Navy ... I'm 6'4'' with some long legs so finding 32x36L for such a great price is awesome. Except for the fact that getting a pair that fit well is a game of chance and it never happens twice. Often I'll order 3 of the same size with differing washes and only one will fit well while the other 2 fit like emo kid skinny ... Recently I ordered 2 pair of the ... fit just to be sure they'll fit well and sure enough, one pair fits great and one pair fits terribly. Super ... halfway down thigh to the bottom but super tight up top.
NOT loose in the thigh area as previously were made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!VERY VERY dissappointed with the change in this loose fit style from old navy. We have purchased SEVERAL pairs for many years for our college athlete.. PLEASE contact your manufactuerer and let them know that these jeans are NO LONGER loose in the thigh /rise area !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These were the go to jeans always... I cannot purchase them any longer. My son loved the old loose fit (2-3 years ago that were made true to size so much that I spent$$$$$ to have them patched. PLEASE listen to your customers it has been 2 years like this now with no improvement! Rate them as regular thighs for anyone who works out in a gym on a regular basis. The waist and rear are fine. PLEASE FIX the thigh area or NO LONGER advertise them as loose fit. I would love to go back and purchase WHAT USED TO BE THE PERFECT JEAN BUT CAN'T UNTIL IT IS FIXED TIGHT THIGHS FOR MUSCULAR LEGS VERY DISSAPPOINTED CONSUMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
big NO!Last year I bought my husband two pairs of Old Navy ... fit ... he loves them!! I wanted to get him another pair but they majorly changed the cut!! He could not even put them on! ... fit should be ... all the way around, not just the legs.
New cut of Loose fit jeansI have been buying Old Navy loose jeans for 5+ years and have always had good luck with them up until recently (within last 6months or so) For a while the stores and online was out of stock on their loose fit jeans and after they got them back in the cut was way different. The new version of the old navy loose jeans are NOT LOOSE!!! The waist and length are fine but the legs of the pants are cut thinner and not actually loose and also the rise is much more like a low rise jean. One other thing is that the seat/crotch area is much tighter. You could say, hey, buy the next biggest size...Iv'e tried them on, they are WAY too big. Its a sad day that old navy has messed with their jeans to the point that I must buy my jeans somewhere else now. I agree with others that say the denim is a bit thinner than other brands but they do wear pretty good. They do wear out by the pockets in the back but for the price I would say that the length of time you wear them is still a good value. For others that say they don't look good, I am not sure they either bought the right size, cut or what but i've been asked where I got my jeans and gotten compliments on them....well, the older style of loose jeans anyway. The new ones could be called [*] NOT COOL! C'mon Old Navy, please go back to the old style.
only loose below the kneeIn recent years, loose fit has gotten gradually tighter. The upper legs are not as loose, and for those trying to buy ... fit their larger legs/thighs, this is definitely not a good pick. The rise is too low. Below the knee is roomy, but the bottoms are too wide and almost look flared. A big disappointment. Loose fit should be loose throughout, not at the bottom where it's least important.
NOT LOOSE FITI bought "loose fit" jeans expecting them to be loose fit compared to normal jeans. Well, unfoirtunately thats not the case. These are loose fit compared to the new tight jeans craze. If your expecting them to be loose fitting look else where these wont get it done for you. The crotch on these jeans rides so high it's painfully uncomfortable to bend over or sit down at times. Speaking of bending over just don't do it, you will give the world a view they did not want and had not nor will pay for. The thighs are also tight, the legs are however the correct length.
