I was surprised that the Medium size shirt did not fit like the ones I bought in the store -- but the Large replacements fit just fine. The customer support department are really good and easy to work with !! Thanks -- Roger Long
looks great! I bought this for my husband even though he was very much against ON dress ... (He feels the quality has really gone down since they opened) He was actually very impressed with the comfort and fit of the shirt and you can't beat the price!
Loved it for my boyfriend! Perfect shirt for work and play! Looks and fits great and the color is beautiful!
High Quality I was very impressed when I received this shirt. The quality of the weave of the fabric surpasses any purchase I have ever made at ON in both look and feel. The shirt appears like its a Banana Republic [*]. The only reason I gave five stars is because of the boxy cut, one trip up the tailor and a [$] shirt has the look and feel of a $100 shirt.
A Basic Essential This is THE shirt. No man should be without an Oxford shirt, and I applaud ON on this one. Its material is soft and sturdy, so you'll get lots of comfortable use. It's also incredibly versatile- throw it on over jeans and a tee for a laid back weekend look, or wear it with a tie and sweater/ jacket for a nice work (or after hours) style. The only thing I noticed was that the shirt was a tad long to wear untucked. This doesn't really bother me, because I usually tuck my shirt in when I wear a tie. Anyhow, like I said before, an Oxford is a solid investment, and it's well worth your money.
A little chunky This shirt would have been great. Who couldn't use a white oxford? The quality is ok and it seems durable enough. The fit is pretty bad though. I'm 6'7 and slim, and this shirt just has too much extra fabric. I know that ON shoots for a different demographic than GAP, but their button up shirts have always fit me really well. I ordered a medium tall and all the lengths were fine, but there is definitely extra room for some chub. Not cool, ON.
You get what you pay for Once upon a time I bought two of these shirts - years ago. They wore like iron, felt great to wear, just like the premium Hyde Park ... sold at [@] - those are $50 now. As time has past the OldNavy price is the same, but the weight of the fabric is a lot lighter. The shirt is still a good quality value, especially when on sale, but certainly not what it used to be.
not bad i bought this shirt for my son, who wanted a casual white button down shirt to wear with jeans. this one was a decent price, and it is not bad -- the material feels nice, and it fits pretty well. my objections are that it has a lot more "detailing" -- seams and buttons and such -- than i had expected or like, and that it is not at all fitted to the body -- very square cut.
This one is worse... I have to say that I bought an oxford shirt "identical" to this one when it was on stock a year ago, then it went out of stock and later they brought this one which is supposed to be the same shirt but it is not. The quality is really bad compared to the older one and too soft to be an oxford shirt. The former one was PERFECT. Sometimes it seems that ON takes advantage of selling clothes online, there are just too much "hit and miss" with the quality here.
Returned it Sleeves were a little short, and so big around in the bicep area I could have attached a high dive and gone swimming. If you've got fat arms, this is probably a nice fitting shirt for you.
bummer Once again "I am disappointed. Not the button down shirt it said it is. The collar has no buttons and the cloth was thin. The quality just keeps getting worse
