Great ... I ordered these in a 32 x 36" for my son who is very tall and very slim. Finding ... long enough with that small a waist size is impossible in stores. These ... fit him perfectly. He wears them to work and for other occasions where his cargo ... shorts are not appropriate. I just wish they were available in more colors in this size, but he doesn't care about that!
LOVE these ... my husband is 6'4" tall and it's hard to find khaki ... fit him for work. He needs a 36 x 36. He doesn't need to wear "dress" ... but he doesn't wear jeans either. He looks really good in these ... He says they are comfortable and not too stiff. I haven't noticed if they shrink any in the wash because he does the laundry, but he can afford for them to shrink a LITTLE bit in the length. They aren't too long where we have to get them hemmed. If we would've gotten the 34 in length they would've been too short. So, I'd have to say this is where we will be getting his work ... now on. :)
Nice ... I bought this ... my son who is very tall and very hard to buy ... He had to have them for work and he loves them. I would recommend this ... He says they are very comfortable and not binding.
Very Classy & Great for Anything I'm very skinny and tall, so it is difficult for me to find ... look good on me. These look great! They're not super baggy and they're not skin tight, they're normal. I suggest ordering the 34 length if you're anywhere around 6'2, and that length is almost never found in the actual stores. Nothing beats the price and I love the freedom of being able to save money and buy good fitting/looking ... Better than expensive brands.
Great ... Finding ... fit my husband is always a challenge. He is tall and slender and most stores simply do not carry his size. These ... fit him perfectly (size 32x36) and hold up well. He is a little hard on ... his job and these fit the bill! I love that they wash and dry well without having to iron them!
My son needed black ... work. It's hard to find black ... not "dress" ... These are perfect to match up with the polo shirt he has to wear. He's a tall guy so ON online is the place to get long ... get all his stuff there.
Rise is Too Short I bought two pair of these ... (30x34) for my dad and the rise in both pair was too high. It would be nice if these ... came in a longer rise since they do come in longer lengths with the smaller waist. Not all men that are tall are big. There are a lot of tall slender men out there. Unfortunately had to send them back.
Good enough These pants are nice... nothing special though. The material seems a little thin, but comparable to similarly priced pants. The size is a little smaller than labeled. and the back end pulls down a lot when sitting. I do like that they are flat fronted pants without pleats, but the quality is just mid range. Like much of Old Navy's newer clothing, these pants are made in Sri Lanka- I would prefer they were American made of course, but this seems to be more and more a rarity in clothing. Also, Old Navy's shipping is a little misleading... I ordered these pants for a breakfast meeting over a week away from when I ordered- I chose the more expensive 3-5 business day shipping option, and did not receive my pants unitl nearly 2 weeks later. Apparently it is 3-5 business day shipping, after 2-3 business days to "process" the order. Then after my order "processed", it had to wait until the following Monday to ship, then it took the full 5 business days to arrive to me the following Monday.
Recieved the wrong pants I received the wrong pants, Not sure how this happened. But I did see why it happened.... I have been looking on ON web site for some time looking for 36x36 broken in khakis. Then out of no wear... There they were... so I ordered 3 pairs. Upon check out. I received an error message which indicated the quantity of pants I were not available. So instead of 3 pairs of pants showing in my online shopping cart, it showed 2. I figured, 2 is better than 3 and place my order. When I received my pants in the mail a few days later, i tried them on to realize they did not fit. I currently have broken in khakis and they fit fine... So what happened.... I looked at the pants closer and they were the regular khakis, so I looked at my order again and my shopping cart said regular khakis. so from my stand point, I really don’t have a leg to stand on other than I just ordered the wrong pants, right???? Well not exactly, Thinking something wasn’t right, I went back on line and tried to reorder more pants, when I did... I had the same error message from the ON web site and once again, it changed the order I had made which was for broken in khakis to regular. So as far as i am concerned... I feel i was screwed by ON and if anyone else is reading this, i would strongly suggest not ordering online ever. I made that mistake because my local store said they did not carry 36x36 and the only way I could get them was on line. Sounds like i need to shop somewhere else. Hell... I basically now have paid [$] for each pair of pants... That being the cost of each pair of pants that was shipped wrong and the ones I had to go buy at the store. For a grand total of [$] for 2 pairs of pants... Thanks ON... You have lost another customer and I hope anyone who reads this, rethinks ordering anything from ON in the future... But if i had to guess... ON will not post something like this for their potential customers to read, so I will post it in several adds on line, just so I can tell people what to be aware of....
sizing has changed allways loved old navy khakis. until now. size of pants has changed this year. wear the same size i allways have but now the size of the pants around the ankles has shrunk an inch or more causing the pants to go inside of shoes instead of out. ok if you like the tight pants girly boy look but i will have to go elsewhere. sucks but its just my own preference not to buy buy tight around the ankle ...
The thighs and rear are too tight. Poorly designed. The ... tight. I am a tall slender guy, and these were too tight. It is frustrating trying to buy ... because they all seem to be geared for stick figures.
When it comes to pants, comfort is king. That's why these easygoing cargos feature a loose fit, soft but strong twill and pockets with plenty of room so you can travel light.

Well done! I am very pleased with the entire process of ordering thru the site and am thrilled with the quality and fit of the clothing. The issue I have being not only tall, but also large framed (fat) is finding tall ... adequate waist. These ... were perfect. Great job Old Navy.
Satisfied Customer I have found Old Navy to be one of the best stores to purchase Mens tall ... cargo style is my favorite and has always fit well I recommend this store to any man that has a hard time finding ... 36 inch lenght.
34x36 Cargo ... Tall I'm fairly tall at 6'4" and was surprised to find ... long enough to fit me at Old Navy via special order. I bought a pair of these 34x36 in a darker brown in 2010 and they quickly became a favorite pair. The length is exceptional and don't rise half way up my calf when sitting down like other shorter ... fabric is sturdy, but soft. They are cut well and wear equally well. I special ordered two more this year, but there have been slight design changes to the ... front hand ... bit shallow for someone with my hand size and height. At an inch more shallow cut, I can't fit as many things in those two ... older pair nor do materials stay in the ... securely. Also, the two front thigh ... seem to be a little lower or deeper cut and I have to lean a bit more to get to the bottom of them to get my phone out. Other than that, these ... come highly recommended. If it weren't for the shallow ... I'd rate 5 out of 5 stars.
... Old Navy has great painter/tall ... men online, but it would be a lot easier and a lot nicer if they sold Tall ... stores as well.
all different sizes My husband found a pair of these ... store and loved them. We since moved out of the country and saw them online at a discount. We ordered the cargo ... all the remaining colors. Every single pair of the cargo ... were different lengths, at about 2 inches in difference. Since my husband is very tall, this was an important factor; to get the length correct. We ended up exchanging 3 of the 4 ... we ordered. The resent ... were closer to the same sizes. He does love the ... but it was disappointing that they were all different sizes, something else to hassle with.
Favorite Cargos These are my son's favorite cargo ... He is very long legged and Old Navy is the only place to get these in tall sizes. They hold up well and are comfortable. The only negative is that the ... have gotten shallow compared to the older ... deep side ... my son's favorite feature.
So So The ... just ordered are not like the ones I bought in the past. Not quite the same quality, fabric thinner and tears more easily. Yes they already got a tear in the seam. They also were not as long as the ones I purchased before and that is my biggest complaint. I am tall, 6'8" to be precise. I need the ... longer.
A Few Issues I own five pairs of these ... like them for the most part, but for them to be labeled "loose fit" they should fit looser through the thigh and seat. I'm 6'3" and weigh about 235. The tall length is excellent. Another problem with the ... they are inconsistent in the fit. One pair fits perfectly and comfortably and another pair fits a bit constrictive. Another issue is the strength of some of the sewing. I had to sew one of the cargo ... less than a month after I got them because it was unraveling. Overall, the ... fit and look nice, but I just wish they were truly "loose fit" for those of us who are not bean poles.
[*] O.N. Contractors Skimping on Materials I had purchsed 2 pairs of O.N. cargos a few years ago. Wore them till the ... cuffs frayed. Loved'em. So, I went to the local Old Navy store to find my size again (32 x 36). Either they weren't stocking these sizes anymore on store shelves, or they'd been sold out. So I just ordered the ... wanted off their website. When they arrived I tried them on. The ... cuffs fell just above my shoes when standing and when I crossed my legs they went half way up my calf. Suspecting they weren't like the ones I was trying to replace, I layed them down on my bed over my old pair. Indeed, they were just over an inch shorter than my old pair, even though they were both labeled 32 x 36. I called customer support and told them they had a problem on there hands. The [*] contractor they had chosen to build these ... them was skimping on materials to cut corners and save money. I told them, "When will corporate America learn that 'you get what you pay for!' this applies to manufacturing as well." They are mailing me a replacement pair. I told them I'll see if they fit, but if they both come from the same factory [*], they'll also be short again. Old Navy is risking losing their tall customers by not watching their product standards more carefully. If I get another pair of short 36" ... I'll have no problem paying more for a pair of cargo ... actually measure what it says on the label at [@].
Old Navy is inconsistent with their sizing I ordered 3 pairs of casual ... each 34W x 36L. Two of them fit well, though one is probably not a full 36" inseam. THIS pair however was too snug in the waist AND too short. Definitely not 36". Plus, the fact that these were snug in the waist ("34W"), and another pair of cargo ... bought in the store, labeled as a 33W actually feel looser than these, means that there is a huge variability in sizing. In this respect, Old Navy should get its act together. Furthermore, these "loose fitting cargos" were roomy in the seat, but tight in the legs... EVEN MORE SO than ... were not advertised as "loose fit". I really wanted to like these cargos, since in the picture, I liked the style, they were available in tall, and they are advertised as "loose fitting". What's on the label is not necessarily what you get. Honestly, did someone in the factory misplace their tape measure?
Cargo ... run small I ordered cargo ... my tall college son- the same ones that Levi makes, they look identical, but run wayyy small! The length is great, but when ordering the exact same size as Levi, they come in rather tight in waist and seat- I think a 34 should always be a 34!They are a really good replica of the Levi cargo ...
