LOVE THIS SHIRT
usually wear small petite & it fits just how i wanted; it's a bit loose, flowy but not baggy. was afraid it may be tight on the waist where the smocking is - but it's not at all, just perfect. love the v neck, slightly deep but not so much you need to wear a tank. would love to buy it in more colors. also, the fabric is not so cheap as many old navy tees, it's a much better weight. CUTE!!
Neckline is wider than expected
I ordered the white one and it's soft and comfy but for my usual Petite XS size, I find the neckline wider than expected. I would need to wear a cami or tank under it.
Smocked waist is too loose
The neckline detail is cute and I really wanted to like this since I needed a basic white top, but it was not flattering on me and I ended up returning it. I ordered a Petite S, and the shoulders fit me well, but the waist was way too loose. I do not have a small waist (still trying to lose my post baby tummy), but the waist band was so loose that it just fell down over my hips instead of creating the blouson look. Also, this top has flutter sleeves, and made my upper arms look bigger. On the plus side, the fabric is soft and comfortable, and the neckline is pretty.
Hit and miss...
I purchased four of the five colors in Petite Medium -- I'm 5'3" (all except white). The lilac was true to form - it was the perfect length, the elastic hitting at the hip just as described. The other three colors, however, were NOT true to size; they were very long! The yellow and orange colors are bright, perfect for the summer. The tea time beige color was more gray than beige. The fabric is soft and flowy. It's perfect for my use - work casual day or a way to dress up a casual look. So, I'll have to return three of the four I purchased. If ON had a petite section, I would have tried these on in the store first. I'll have to repurchase the one I wanted to keep in the hopes that it will be true to size like the lilac!
So sad.
I really love this top. Unfortunately, after less than 10 times of normal wash/wear, the banding at the bottom is coming unseamed. There is a 3-4 inch gap after washing/drying as directed for maybe the 7th time. I'm going to attempt to sew it shut, but after such infrequent wearing, I should not have to do this. Shame on you, Old Navy. The quality of your clothing seems to be deteriorating with each season. Being that this is the 4th or 5th top that has started falling apart (and let's not mention the ones that came already ruined in the mail), I'm strongly considering canceling my charge account with you.

i usually wear a size 10 in old navy jeans and they are a little loose. i don't like my clothing skin tight. however, after reading the many reviews here that the shorts were really tight i decided to follow and order up to a size 12. unfortunately, the shorts were too large. i could pull them down with the buttons still on. i'm not sure what happened or if there are different batches of these shorts, but i ordered two different colors and they were the same loose size. i really am pleased with the style and colors, but disappointed that i now have to return them. what a hassle. the sizing is not even close. i find that if jeans are a little loose i can throw them in the dryer after a wash and shrink them a little to fit, but not these. i am hoping that i will be able to find my size at some of the stores in town because i don't want to have to pay for shipping again to order these.

Comfortable casual skirt
I am 5'2 and purchased this skirt in a petite. It is a great length. I really like this skirt. I also purchased the slimmer looking Old Navy skirt. It showed a little too much so I returned that one.
Favorite piece of clothing, ever!
All I can say is buy it. This is the best piece of clothing I have ever owned, even at this low of a price. It is comfortable enough to be jammies, but with a button up shirt and cute sandals, I can wear it to work. I'm a kindergarten teacher, so the length is fabulous. I can still get on the floor and play without worries!

Fits great
im am 5'3" so i ordered the petite size because i knew the regular length might be a little too long. I just had a baby so i am not wearing my regular jeans yet. This skirt is really comfortable and cute. I ordered the white version but it did not flatter my rear end so i sent it back.Overall, i was very pleased and would recommend this skirt as it is comfortable, breathable material, and is very cute. However, it clings to curves so if you dont want everything seen, order dark color.
read reviews on this skirt & have to disagree w others about this skirt being too thin. I live in FL where its AFRICA hot & thin clothing is tops in my book! Love this skirt. I can actually where it as a dress too! Just pull it up over the "girls"(my girls are petite) & viola a cute sleeveless summer dress. Love my purchase! eta: I purchased the purple one, prolly wouldn't recommend the white one though as the material IS thin & white would prove to be "peekaboo see through" unless you're into that kinda thing ;0)
Happy skirtbuyer
Ordered this skirt in Coffee grounds Petite L, was a flattering colour and fit! VPL (visible panty line) would appear though. Nice foldover band that does not runch up and attract attention to the waist/hip area. Wish it came in a thicker material, would certainly pay more for it. If it were in a thicker material, would give it 5stars. Would foresee myself wearing it often, paired with t shirt or a tank top, with sandals. Very comfortable!
In <3 with this skirt!
I have purchased this skirt for the last few years. And have many colors. This year I can definitely agree with the others when saying that it is thinner. I still think its the perfect skirt though for my summer needs. I have yet to purchase the white skirt and probably will not for fear of it being too see through. I wear this skirt all over town, on dates, to work, but my favorite use of this skirt is as a dress. Its a bit short, but its PERFECT for a swimsuit coverup. And I get compliments on it all the time. I am petite (5'4), so it is actually long enough as a dress. Not sure how it would work for someone taller. I ended up with navy last year being my favorite, and I still wear that one the most right now, but I am thinking about getting the new printed one.
Not for me
I ordered this skirt in purple with the hopes of wearing it at the beach this summer. I am 5'4" with short legs and a full figure. The petite large was too long and a bit loose. I know this material stretches after wear so the large would ultimately be too big, but the medium would still be too tight for me. The material is thin but soft and comfortable. The purple color is vibrant and fun. Maybe this skirt will flatter you, but it's definitely not for me!
Cute skirt
I orderd the white floral and the colors are vibrant in contrast to someone else's review. Maybe I got lucky. I will agree with a lot of people that the material is wayyy too thin. I can see right trough it so much that i can see the stripes on the trim of my underwear. Maybe the other colors are not as bad, but i would only buy another in the store. I wear petite, but still found it to be too long. I unrolled and pulled it up and think i'll wear it as a swim cover up instead. Its shorter and very form fitting that way.
Poor Quality/Poor Manufacturing
I ordered two Petite Medium skirts...both were marked Petite Medium. One fit perfectly...thanks old navy. The other (also marked petite medium) fell off my waist and hips. Fits like a 2XX. I will be calling Customer Service and demanding a replacement [...] Great prices but obviously quality control is nil.
Disappointing drop in fabric quality
This review is actually in regards to the fold over skirt purchase I made around Christmas last year (2009), although it sounds like quality is still an issue. I first discovered the ON fold over skirt early last spring (2009) at an ON outlet. I treated myself to three different colors and I'm so glad I did. The skirts became my favorites in summer and also with tights and boots in winter. At Christmas I decided to purchase the purple and a "back up" black and brown, this time in petite. The petite XS fit about the same as my older XSs so a bit bigger than expected. But by far the biggest disappointment is the MAJOR drop in fabric quality. Thin and flimsy and they all look pilled right out of the bag. The browns were two totally different colors. Extremely disappointed in this turn of events. I wish ON would check quality on these. I'd be hesitant to purchase online again without seeing in store first.

Cute Hoodie
Love this hoodie. All other reviewers ARE RIGHT. This runs big. I'm 5'2" 115 lbs and small chested and usually get petites, but opted for the regular XS just in case. It was HUGE on me long and baggy. I am returning for the petite extra small because it is SUPER CUTE. I got a white one for my Wedding Day and having "Bride" embroidered at a local store. So much cheaper to buy it on here than on a bridal website. Love this so much, that I'm buying in other colors. Get the matching fleece pants. They are cute too!
Very comfortable. Good for running errands or the gym. It is big in the shoulders, so if you have a petite frame you might want to go a size smaller.
Not for me
I actually don't like the puffy sleeve at all. I'm not a little girl and it's definitely a bit juvenile. I thought it was kinda cute in the picture but not on the body. The quality is good though. Also, I'm a petite and even the petite size was longer than I expected. I love the matching capris and those fit great and are definitely worth it but not this jacket. I kept the capris and can wear something else with them instead of the matching jacket.
Not true to photo
It does not look like it does in the picture. I was extremely excited about finding a short sleeved hoodie. But this one dissappoints! If there were no ruching/pintucking at the shoulder of the sleeve, it would be perfect, besides running a little large. I am not a five year old girl... I don't want huge puffy sleeves on ANY of my clothing, unless imdressing up for an 80's nite lol I have a few cap sleeved shirts that have a little of a puffed sleeve. Old navy went overboard on this one. The PUFF was ridiculously large...like I had puffy shoulder pads on. I thought if I washed it in hot water and dried it on high heat, it would shrink the hoodie, AND the sleeves.... it didn't happen that way unfortunately. I would recommend against purchasing this above a Large, or if you just don't like puffy sleeves

Flattering
I ordered these in a small petite after reading these reviews and getting the impression that these could run long and I'm only 5'2. The size I ordered fit me great and looks so flattering. They accentuate the rear and minimize the belly.
Where have you been all my life?
I have searched and searched for a soft fitting pair of fold over yoga pants. I could only find them at very expensive prices. Thank you Old Navy for creating this line of affordable and GREAT fold over yoga pants. They're great for lounging around, cute enough to go out in public, and they are just perfect for yoga and stretching days. I'm an avid runner and the only thing these pants aren't good for is that - running. They fit so soft on the hips that they tend to slide down as you run. So stick with walking/stretching/yoga in these. They fit true to size for me except I'm 5'1 and the length on the regular was a bit long. I would have gone with the petite had I known there was a difference.
comfy, but...
They are everything I expected minus the length. I even ordered a petite pair so they would be shorter (I am tall but I have short legs) and they still hit me mid calf. I know they are very stylish, but they don't do anything for my too short legs. I will stick with the long pant version in the future. I still wear them, they are great for weight lifitng becuse they give you a great range of motion. Overall, I am still pleased with them.

I relly like these pants. This is the type of clothing I live in. I'm not a big fan of jeans. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the length. I'm average height between 4"4 and 4'5 and found them to be a little longer than I would like for a capri pant especially because of the length shown on the model. Overall I really like them.
Great to work out in!
I just recently started going back to the gym and wanted a pair of cropped pants to work out in that weren't nylon. These yoga pants are perfect. They're very comfortable, fit extremely well, and breathe/wick pretty nicely, making them great for intense workouts at the gym. The fold over portion is nice for hiding any imperfections in your tummy area. My only complaint is that they seem a bit big. I bought an XL for a little extra wiggle room (I would normally wear a L), and the waist is pretty gappy. The fold over portion tends to unfold and ride up as I'm running or on the elliptical. I typically wear a regular length pant (I'm 5'6"), so I opted for the regular in these - probably should have gotten a petite because the rise seems like it's really high as well. Despite these few imperfections, I'd easily buy another pair. They're definitely better than anything else I've tried on lately.
Could be shorter for capris, but I''m short so...
These were very similar to a pair of fold over yoga pants I got in the fall, and I like them but like many active wear pants from ON, they are too long for someone in the 5'1-5'4 range. But since ON doesn't have petite lengths, I have to cope with pulling up my yoga pants into my crotch or dealing with Capris that are a bit too long and almost come too low on the calf to truly be capris. However, I do like them and if it's the right kind of capri, I can roll up the bottoms once because they do flare a bit. Other than the length though, very comfortable for many situations.
Comfy with one problem...
The pants are really comfortable and great in the petite length. What I did NOT like about them was the sewing in the crotch area. It?s a strange seam and it not flattering while working out. Unless you wear a long shirt to cover this area, I wouldn't recommend them for actually working out but a great lounge pant.
Too Big and Too Small
I ended up returning these pants to the store after they came. I am 5'3 and I should of ordered them in petite. However, while being too long they were not flattering on the top; they were too tight.
Dissapointed with the length
I went to Old Navy today just to buy these pants but I'm glad I decided to try them on first. The fit is great and they were very comfortable but the length of these was awful! I'm 5'5" and these pants came down to my ankle not mid calf like OldNavy.com states. I would suggest to anyone who is below 5'9" to order these in the Petite size. I really wish Old Navy would get on the ball and size their clothing correctly or offer Petite and Tall sizes in Active Wear in the stores.
