Great fit!
At a local Old Navy store this weekend, I bought two pairs of the "SuperFlare Khakis" in gray and also in chocolate brown. They were on sale for [$], and when I got to the checkout, I found out the gray pair was discounted even more to [$]! I am 24 years old, 5'5", a curvy figure, and 135 pounds, and the size 6 regular fits me perfectly. I usually have problems with ... feeling too tight in the thighs, but these are perfect. I didn't have any issues with them shrinking while washing/drying. Specifically, I turned them inside out, and washed in cold water and also dried them on the delicate setting. I wore them to work today, and they are as comfortable as pajama ... back pockets will get creased and stick out after washing, but they lay flat nicely after using a clothes steamer. I am so happy with these ... ordered two more pairs online today!

Really are GREAT ...
Sounds to me like too many reviewers are buying them too small a ... These ... fit best more on the loose side and ... super comfortable and look great for all types of occations! I own them in the dark blue/navy color and ... very slendizing with the pocket styles both in front and the flaps in the back. I do agree that the rise should be listed as "Low" instead of midrise, but I feel that it adds to the slenderizing look. I am 5'8" and a ... 8 to 10 and the ... 10 regular length works great on me. I am also fuller through the hips and thighs and these slenderized. I wash them on cold and hang to dry and then throw them in the dryer for a few minutes before putting them away or on. I can't wait until ... go on sale to buy them in more colors!

Cute, Get ''em!
I bought these for my transition ... move back down to my pre pregnancy size. I think in general they run big and stretch out some as you wear them although the material isn't stretchy. The fit is cute fitted and are just as cute baggy and loose which is how I prefer my khakis. I bought a size 2 short and they were definitely too long for me at 5'2" b/c I like to wear flats. So when I re ordered two more pairs (b/c I love them so much) I ordered ... 2 and at only a 1/2" shorter they are still too long so I cut them and they are still cute. (It was silly to spend as much or more as I did on the ... having them hemmed!) I bought all three pairs at sale prices but even at only $25-$30 they are a great value I may even buy a few more pairs in my pre pregnancy size so I can continue to wear them. P.S. someone complained about the back flap pockets getting wrinkled in the wash. I iron my ... anyway so this wasn't a big deal for me and they do not always come out of the dryer flipped out either....

Favorite ...
I think out of everything I've purchased from ON over the years, the ultra flair perfect khaki is my favorite item. It is difficult to rate the fit of these ... general scale. They fit me perfectly - but not in my normal size. I wear a size 4 in the regular perfect khaki, but for some reason have always had to order down to a size 2 in the ultra flair. So although the ... seem to be made much larger than a "true" size, they are a fantastic fit when ordered down a ... They're made well and seem to last forever. I just ordered a new pair after having the same ones for at least 8 years. While the color faded a bit, all seams were still intact and there were not any worn spots in the fabric. I love the new ones just as much as the old ones. Excellent for work or casual wear, and the wider leg makes them easier to wear with more types of shoes than the straight leg of the perfect khaki. This is the kind of item you want to stock up on one of every color when there's a good sale! I do wish there was more color variety.

Size 6 is more like size 8
The length of these ... great..I was really excited to find ... long enough for me...plus a nice hem if they do happen to shrink a little in length when washed....however. the flare is HUGE...which I could probably have lived with had I been able to keep the ... up. I wear a 6 normally, and these fit like an 8. Very baggy in the hips and thigh width wise...but afraid to try any smaller as the fit seems that they would then be too short in the crotch...have to send them back...now debating on whether I want to take a chance and order a 4 or not. Sure wish the store here carried talls so I could just get the correct fit from the start...having to wait on delivery just to have to return them and wait again is so very frustrating....ON, you'd increase your sales greatly if you carried Talls in all stores...

Khakis
Had to buy 7 pairs of these ... new dress code at work. I work as a Physical Therapist in a sub acute setting and was thrilled to find them on sale for [$]. Usually wear an 8 regular, but had to get 10 regular b/c of the tighter hips (and I'm definitely not hippy). The 'Ultra Flare' were definitely more flattering than the 'Boot Cut' which were to narrow at the bottom and cut short. These ... would be great for running errands around town with flip flops in the spring. Just wish ... came in more colors.

Great everyday ...
I really do like these ... but they upon arrival they were very tight in the thighs (another review commented on this), and loose on the waist, while very respectable tightness on the rear (work appropriate). However, during the course of the day they loosened up Quite a bit, the thighs fit perfectly where now the butt and waist are kinda huge. I do love the color (dark grey), and would probably get the Wise Owl if it were still in stock. Also, for the Tall 36", this pair is definitely shorter than other 36" ... I've purchased at Old Navy. Overall, worth keeping, especially since I got these on the Khaki Sale.

Didn''t fit like ON normal ... all
ON ... seem to be a hit or miss constantly. This was a miss. I do love that ... have clothes for us tall gals (I'm 5'10" and 140 lbs) but I ordered my regular ... 6L (and sometimes 6L is too big for me) and it didn't fit well at all. It was way too tight in the butt and the waist was very loose. With that being said the ultra flare made the look even worse.Had to return them (and I thought I was getting a great deal- I see why it was on sale). I think it would be best to try on at the store beforehand next time.

HORRIBLE SIZING and QUALITY CONTROL
I bought these ... blue and grey at the store both were a size 18 and fit perfect! I wanted them in both browns but the sizing is so off I can't find 2 pairs that fit! Sizing is so different between colors and even just individual pairs it is ridiculous! I have tried 18 and 20 in both browns, the 20 is to big and the 18 is to small! And these ... sale in the store for [$] but of course the store almost never has any ... size 18 or 20! About 10 years ago I used to buy almost all my ... Old Navy but not anymore! I wanted to exchange the sizes I bought but the only way old navy does exchanges is by phone and you have to pay for the exchange and wait for them to receive and refund the first order! Some people don't have the money to spare to pay for 2 orders while waiting for a refund!!! I will not shop at Old Navy ever again! What ever happened to quality control and customer service?!

Good pair of ... if you like super flare
These ... not made for thin, ... girls. They are a bit too baggy and the super flare looks a bit ridiculous if you are 5'2" and 100 lbs. They are a good deal, if you can get them on sale. The khaki is a good color. I returned them though because they are just not flattering for my figure.

Great staple for work
I'm 5' and originally ordered these pants in ... but found they the inseam was too small and fit too tight in the crotch area. I'm confused about the review that complained ... sizes weren't available... must have been a review for different pants??? The regular size fits perfect. These pants are flattering and I'll be ordering other colors.

Love Them
I was very skeptical when I ordered these ... because the reviews seemed to be all over the place. They are great! I've paid much more for other work ... don't look as good. I'm a ... so happy that ON offers their styles in petites. The fit is perfect and the material drapes nicely. The flap pockets in the back give the ... more updated look and are very flattering. You really can't find better for the price. Highly recommend!

way better than expected
I seriously bought these ... purely because they were on sale for cheap and I just desperately needed ... any ... work. Instead, they have turned into my favorite all around ... pretty much everything. They're slightly high waisted, which is good for those of us who don't have perfect abs (read: pretty much everyone), and the ... length is PERFECT even for me (I'm 5 feet tall and like my ... bit on the long side). They're a bit loose in the waist, but that doesn't bother me; I'm extremely curvy and have this problem with pretty much everything except, like, tights. The bonus of the slightly longer rise is that it fits under tops very well, so you don't get that dreaded "flash your underpants at everyone" gap that can happen when ... too loose in the waist. The wide waistband is a huge bonus because it actually fits a real belt (I usually wear men's belts for whatever reason, and for a lot of women's ... beltloops are too narrow to fit). I was concerned about the material at first because it seemed a bit scratchy, but after washing them once or twice, they feel perfectly comfortable and the weight of the fabric lets them drape really well, so I actually appreciate it, and the material doesn't seem to pill at ALL, which is awesome.

SO nice, I bought all three colors!
I first got these in black and they fit so nicely that I ordered the other two colors. The length is just a little long for me, in petites, but with high heeled boots this fall and winter should be ok. I am 5ft 1, 128lbs and got a 10 ... waist is a little big but I need the 10 since my bum is bigger and I don't want them to fit super tight. Nice fabric and I am glad for a couple of color options.

.I'm 5'4, ... 120lb. with soccer thighs and I got a Size 4P. It's PERFECT and hits just above my heels. I wouldn't wash and dry them though then they'd be too tight. The material is kind of thin so they are more for summer and spring. Not the highest quality but hey, it's worth it for the sale price!

Pants are keepers, but are a little different from the old version
I purchased one of each of the colors in a 10P. They are all very close to same fit and leg length, differences are miniscule. Normally ON size 10 fits ok, these are a little tight, but still wearable. I carry all my weight in my rear, hips and thighs and while they aren't a true "wide leg" more of a "wider flare" they do accomodate women who have thicker thighs. They do run long, the ... length is about 1.25" - 1.5" longer than the normal ... inseam length of 29"-30". This is what I wanted though. I need a 30.5" - 31" inseem for flats and kitten heals, which these are. So I'm very happy with these pants for that reason and why this is my second time ordering them, hoping the lengths hadn't changed, even though the style has slightly. I have the oatmeal heather (10S) and the black jack (8S) from the previous version of these pants (they don't have the "v" shaped back pocket flap that the current ones have). I have to say I like the old ones better. I liked the softer fabric, the colors and the slightly more forgiving fit of the old ones, plus I don't like the "v" flap so much. I can't speak to the washability of the new ones yet, but the older version, which are probably 3+ years old now, still look brand new and I wear them multiple times a week. They are my "go to" pants for work.

Petite means we have short legs!
I ordered these in a ... 8 for work and everything would of worked out wonderfully if they weren't too long. Reading that, you probably think I'm a gnome of some sort. I'm not, I'm 5'0 and whenever I order anything ... short length, it usually works out. I guess not this time, nothing a little bit of a small heels can't fix but I work retail.. there's no way I'm going to walk around the store all day in any heels just to fit in my ... pants that were supposed to be made for people my size!

Not the same...
These pants definitely aren't the same as the previous style. I stock up on these every year or so, and kept hoping ON would release something similar to the older style. That didn't happen, so I gave these a try. The pants aren't awful, but the cut in the hips and through the thighs is very different. I prefer a straight cut as that is a better match for my figure, but these have those awful 'wings' of extra fabric on either side. The side pockets are different, too. I used to be able to keep my cell phones in the pockets without an issue, but now with these pants it looks completely awkward and bulgy to keep my phones in the pockets, and adds a ton of width (and the illusion of weight!) to my hips. I bought the ... size, since ON no longer offers a short option, as I have learned that their pants run long. The ... size is perfect with heels, but a bit long for flats (I am 5' 7"). The rear is way too loose for me -- again, a straighter cut is more flattering because that can accommodate a wider variety of figures. These pants are wearable, but not the greatest version of the ON basic work ...

Too Baggy in waist/rear for ... sizes
I ordered a size 8 ... Perfect Khakis and they fit great. So I ordered these essential wide leg trousers in size 8, too. First, I ordered 8 regular by mistake and they were too big -- obviously too long, but too big in the waist/seat as well. I really like these pants -- they look very classy and able to dress up or down, and flattering in the right size -- so I exchanged them for the ... 8, assuming all the bagginess would disappear along with the length. I was disappointed that they were STILL too big in the waist and seat/thigh area (and I never thought I would say that at my current weight! I am 5'1" 130 lbs and curvy). My "norm" is 110, so obviously I have some weight to lose to get back to normal. But, rather than exchange these AGAIN in a 6, I'm going to get the perfect khakis in black 8. I would order a size smaller than usual if you are a ... my characteristics.

Still too big -- order one size down in petites
I really liked the look and feel of of these ... but even after returning the 8 regular for the 8 ... they were still just too big -- even though I'm 5'1", 130 lbs. -- so I just ordered a size 8 ... perfect khakis in black (which fit perfectly). Nothing against the cut or look of these Essential wide legs, mind you: they are dressier than the khakis and probably more versatile. I just didn't want the hassle of reordering AGAIN. My guess is order one full size smaller than your regular size and you should be all set.

Pants error
I ordered two pairs of these pants, one black, one grey, in ... black pair is fine - it's really a ... grey pair has to be a tall pair because when I hold it up to my waist, there is 4 or 5 (or 6) inches of pants leg lying on the floor. I'm going to give the grey ones to a relative . . . but this makes me very hesitant about ordering these, or any other, pants from ON.
