Fun shorts
I am generally difficult to fit, but for some reason the Old Navy petite ... pants seem to fit my body type well. I am 5'3" and 112 lbs. I ordered the size 4 petites in three different colors, and they fit perfectly. They don't gap at the waist, which is usually my biggest problem with pants and ... They're long enough that I feel comfortable wearing them out in public, and they go great with the Perfect and Vintage Old Navy tees.

Great shorts
I purchased these shorts in White 12 Petite. The inseam for petites is actually 6.5" The rise is approx. 9" I am almost 5'1" and these shorts are a perfect length for my ... legs. They make great walking shorts for someone like me! They also look cute rolled up. The leg is not real big or loose -- I can't stand wide legs that flare out. I think they're perfect I only wish Old Navy carried petite sizes in their stores. I hate having to take a chance online, but at least this purchase worked out well!

Perfect color!!
I have looked for these shorts for two years now!! Perfect color, size and fit! I also bought them in hot pink and love them as well. The length of the shorts is perfect, not too ... not too long. I'm petite, so length is always an issue. These are perfect!

I absolutely LOVE thest shorts! They're the perfect length for mature women who are mothers and don't want to look like teenagers in tiny ... shorts. Although others said that these shorts ran big, they were actually too tight on me (I'm 5'00", 110 lbs and always wear size 0 petite). I reordered them in both the regular size 0 and the petite 2 to see which size works best. Either way, the return was easy (able to go to store) and now I'm just waiting on the reorder to finally wear them. (For the record, the 0 petite seemed too tight in the thigh area for my taste...prefer a looser fit.)

Perfect for Petite
It is very hard to find good petite shorts these shorts are perfect bought the tan and white. Very good quality happy with my purchase.

Great Shorts
These shorts are wonderful. I love "the Perfect Khakis" collection. Everything fits so well. I'm petite as well as plus size so it's very hard to find pants that fit. I buy the womens (not plus) in ... They fit amazing. I have the pants, capris and now shorts. Love em.

great fit!
I'm exploring the petite sizes and so far have had great luck! I'm 5'2" - 115lbs- mid 30's and I ordered these in both 2 reg. and 2P. They both fit but the petite size fit better overall. Everything always seems to long in the crotch or too baggy in the back or too long overall, or too low in the back. I reordered another color and will probably be back for more. I wanted a pair of shorts that I could still bend down and take care of my kids but still look very stylish. I'm ... length was perfect. It hit about 1-2 inches above my knee. Overall Length was perfect, didn't gap in the back, and nice soft material.

Order at least 1 size down
I am a 5'1" petite with waist 26" and hips 39", so while I love my curves, they are a pain to work around when it comes to shorts. If it fits my hips, there is generally a huge gap in the waist area, so I generally only buy things that I can try on in person. I wear a size 6 pants (but I own one pair of skinny jeans in size 8 from ON), so I bought a size 6 and a size 4 in the petite so that I knew I was getting the right size. After trying them both on, the size 4 fit the best. It was surprisingly well trimmed in the waist for me, and it is just a tad snug in the hips and legs (I have thick legs). They do have a fair bit of stretch, so I was able to squat and sit without the shorts binding me. Overall, I am pretty pleased and plan on ordering a few more colors in the same size.

Nice shorts but a little baggy......
I orderd an extra small or 0 petite in these shorts. It is very hard for me to find shorts that fit correctly because I am only 4ft 9in. tall and about 92lbs. Although these shorts were a little baggy in the rear they were not all that bad. I am going to go ahead and keep them I just wish that they ran a little smaller.

I like the shorts, but they don't fit me perfectly. They provide just a little too much room in the rear for my butt, so they are just a little baggy on me. But otherwise I really like the shorts. I am a petite frame, 5'3" 115 lbs.

Almost perfect
I guess no one else is bothered by this, but the rise is very low on these shorts. I'm 5' so It never would occur to me not to buy petite in a ... shorts in 12P (I usually take a 14 but ON consistently runs big) fit well but are nearly hip huggers. I'm a middle aged woman with enough of a belly that I like it to be contained in my pants. I just bought the 12 regulars and find the rise perfect for me (just under the belly button - not old lady high.) I know that low rise is the stye today, which does make it easier for ... people like me to find pants that fit, but it seems an odd cut for shorts that seem to me to be designed for soccer moms. In the right size I truly love these shorts, but people should know they're low rise.
