petite skirts - reviews

VERY NICE
I love wearing these skirts. I ordered two in a 4 petite and they fit me perfectly. I like that they pair well with the ON cap sleeve button down shirts and/or camis and sweaters. Also a big plus is the pockets......I just like skirts with the trouser pockets.

Definitely Essential
Essential defines the ... perfectly. If you work in a professional setting this is an inexpensive must for the workplace. It is definitely true to size. I am slim petite reaching a height of 5'0 and the ... fit perfectly.

Fits perfectly
I think the other reviewers who say it runs a size large or sits too high above the knee don't know what their size really is or how to measure inseams. I ordered it in a petite because I am only 5' tall and the fit is wonderful! It sits about an inch above my knee. I wouldn't call it a pencil shirt by any means since it does not have the fitted look that a traditional pencil ... has.

Love it!
I love these skirts - as an over 45 yr old, 5'0", size 12, apple shaped middle school teacher, I found these to be perfect for work. This ... cami , a cardigan and heels and I am professionally dressed for school. I purchased the ... all three colors! (wish there was a navy one) The petite length is wonderful - about 2 inches above my knee, and the waist hits just as mid rise jeans do. They wash and dry beautifully, at home - no dry cleaners! I also love the pockets! Hopefully the style will stick around.

Perfect fit
i LOVE this ... They don't sell petite near me and it makes a huge difference at 5'1... Nice fit and nicely made!!

LOVE the pencil skirts
The pockets were my necessity!!! Keep the pockets coming. I love wearing skirts to work. I was wearing black pants, but Im short and would constantly have to have them shortened to fit .:( ... so fun and even gives the sexy look and feel. I am still getting used to dress pants and ... being sized differently than jeans. So I ordered my jean size a size 10 and had to go up to a 12. The customer service rep I was talking with via the phone was amazing and very helpful and suggested to just send me two more ... 12 to compare. Anyways, the 12s work perfectly. Thanks! :)

Great basic piece for work
I got the petite length and it falls just above my knee. I'm 4'11" for reference. It's so hard to find skirts that are not an odd length on me, so this was a great find. The ... very nice basic piece, and I wear it for work. It is a flattering cut and is comfortable.

Could''ve been a great ...
I'm 5' 1 so I purchased both the petite and regular ... check which would fit, the regular just didn't fit properly so I got over that quickly. The petite could've worked, but the front, where the zipper is looks like a pouch. I like that the ... stretchy and soft, great length, but that pouch makes me look fat, so it has to go back too...ON make a better ... I'm all over it!

Not 18.5 inches long
I love everything about this ... except the length. The fabric feels amazing, the color is great, and it's really comfortable. But the size 20 in regular is not anywhere close to 18.5 inches long. I would say more like 21 or 22 inches long which is a huge difference for a short girl like me. I just ordered the size 18 in petite and I hope the petite really is 18.5 inches long. I wish the size 20 came in petite but sadly that is not offered. I don't want to pay to have the size 20 shortened but if that's my only option I guess I'll do it because I really do like this ... Indeed if it was offered in more colors I'm sure I'd buy them. Either way one of these is getting returned. Old Navy: please measure your items more accurately -- it's in your own best interest since I bought both of these skirts on separate orders[...]

WAY to BIG
I ordered this ... all the colors and was very disappointed that nothing fit when they arrived. Now first let me say that I am 5'4 143lbs I normally wear a womens regular size 8 so thats what I ordered and whan I received but they were To BIG in every way! I would have to re order in a size 6 petite probably to get one that fits me. Now I wouldnt mind being a size six if it were really true but Im not, so this sizing on this ... off by a mile. Im waiting on a refund to my credit card.

what the!!!
ordered a 12 petite and in the bag was a 16 petite!!!! hhhmmmmm... what's going on over there folks!!!
