Great for hourglass/pear shape
I am 5'8'' and between size 20 and 22 from most places (so, 18-20 from ON), and very curvy. This ... looked fantastic on me, flattered everything and smoothed out my hips. The material felt nice and hung gracefully, and was just thick enough that it wasn't uncomfortable in cooler spring air. The ONLY slight issue was that the bust, while big enough, came down VERY slightly too low, so my average strapless bra kept almost peeking out. Not really a problem with the ... so much as my bra, cut something to be aware of.

The halter hides the armpit fat, the tie under the breast accentuates the curves, the length stops at the knee to show killer calves, the crochet detail gets lots of "oohs and awws". The wooden embelshment at the neck sets the ... apart from other. Its easy and breezy....My problem, according to the size chart im like a 4-5x, ive never been that before, I was skeptical...I ordered a 3x out of pure denial. I got the ... put it on and its very large. The wooden loops at the neck dont sit in the right spot, they actually go behind my neck it was so big. The back sags and the tie in the middle looks weird with so much fabric gathering. Im trying to shrink it. I plan on ordering more in all of the colors available in a smaller size. I highly recommend this ...
I Love Halters
I fell in love with this ... soon as saw it!! I love halters and I love halter dresses. I loved the price even more (received a price reduction at checkout but I would have purchased it anyway). My only complaint is that the chest area was just a wee bit too tight for MY personal comfort. With an ample bustline (chesty some might say), I'm always careful with how things fit, especially halters, strapless, anything you can't wear a traditional "holster" with. So, when I tried on the 1x and I felt a little more room and coverage was needed, I returned them and ordered the 2x. Chest area fits great but now I'll need to make a slight but CAREFUL adjustment to the waist area. Overall, I would say this was a great purchase (bought both colors) and I can't wait for the weather to settle down so I can wear them with and without the cropped sweaters I bought to go with them (work purposes).
I loved this ... moment I saw it. Thought it would be a keeper. I had to return it. I am "top heavy" and the halter piece just didn't work for me. It was too small and did not cover properly. It's still a beautiful ... though. It's a little upsetting that plus size is not sold in stores and thus needs to be purchased on line & returned by mail thus unable to try on the clothes making the shopping experience inconvenient at times.

I love the cut of the ... - it covers my full chest but does so in a flattering way. The best part through is the arm hole shape. Usually I have a problem with the arm holes being too big which creates gaps where my bra and skin are visible but not this ... There are no gaps. The arm hole size is perfect! And the color I bought (green) is gorgeous.
Perfectly Pretty!
I love this ... wouldn't call it a maxi though. I'm 5'10" so it's hard to find long dresses, but this is waaay above my ankles. Still a very attractive length on me though. I am thicker in the tummy and I was pleasantly surprised at how flattering this ... my figure. And it fits my large bust VERY well! All in all, a very nice purchase, although I don't think II would have bought it at full price. But it was a good buy at the discount I received.

This is one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever owned. The straps are adjustable, which is fantastic, and the length is actually long enough for me (I'm 5'10"). The fabric is great, as well--breathable cotton. My only complaint is that the ... has to be dried on its own in the dryer, otherwise it comes out a wrinkly mess.

Looked Pregnant
So I went on here to find a ... my friends wedding, did the measurements according to the old navy size chart. Said I was a 30 in hips/waist so ok I ordered a 30. Now granted I have lost a bit of weight but seriously got it home and i floated in the thing. The material was pretty but not appropriate for a wedding, my husband who helped me pick this out told me I looked pregnant. So back it went, i am going with another ... smaller size.

Perfect!
I've been very happy with this dress--it's so versatile and flattering! Yes, the top is tight up around the armpit area but I like that because I don't have to constantly tug at the top or readjust it. The halter straps can be tied around your neck or simply tucked in if you want. I throw a shrug or a bolero jacket over it when it's cool out or if I'm wearing it to work. I'll be looking for similar dresses to add to my summer wardrobe!
Warm weather must have for a Godess
As noted, I sized up from a 3x to a 4x (5'6, 44F normally ... 26) and fit was perfect. The ... length came down to my ankles. I would recommend to anyone with large breast a very good strapless convertable bra (lane Bryant) and with the bust area fitted it help hold up the girl real well. I do agree the circle on the black looks poorly done but other than that it's fabulous. I truly feel like a godess. And the flow of the bottom doesn't cling but drapes over my curves (figure 8- a curvier hourglass figure). Get it before it's gone.

I LOVE this ... But my biggest piece of advice - if you are busty, order one ... up whenever buying Old Navy Dresses. I've learned this the hard way, and have a couple dresses that are no longer made that are too tight in my chest. So I order one ... larger for my check, and then take in the waist if I need to. It may be "Women's ... but apparently the ... doesn't translate to the chest. ;)
I love this ... - but to tight around the bust
I really love this ... went to purchase it it had sold out. So when it came available i ordered. It came in on yesterday and i tried it on but it squeezed the life out my bust. Im in the process of shedding some lbs so i will hold on to it and pray that i can getmy twins in it. Over all it is a very beautiful and soft ... my bust is a size 42DDD and the twins would not fit at all. I ordered the yellow strip ... also in an 1x and the bust fix perfectly. I really hope you put the ... size back in store or atleast let us make returns in store. [...]. also, i would love to have this ... other colors and a 3/4 sleeve cardigan that i can wear with it! i eneded up by an cardigan from the maternity section. they had an ... very, very simular to this ojne with matching cardigans. so ... size girls have strecth marks on are arms that we dont want theworld to see.

The bad: I don't like the stings around the neck and I really don't "get" the circle at the top of the ... Since I didn't care for the strings around the neck after I tried it, I decided to cut it off. MUCH better just look AND fit. The circle, I can't do anything about, so...what can I say...I'd just suggest to Oldnavy's designers to simply not do that circle thing again. (LOL). The REALLY REALLY good: The ... absolutely great. It flows with you and flatters you. For me, it is a bit snug on my bust, but that's because I am top heavy. The ... little clingly on my rear, but that's because I'm a curvy ... woman. However, in the middle area (stomach), it's really loose. Almost makes me look pregnant, but I think most empire waist dresses do that. Either way, I'd recommend this ... ANY woman. It's sooooo flattering and sexy. Snatch it up BEFORE it's GONE! I only gave this ... 4 stars because of the strings around the neck and the funny looking circle.
