Great Look and Fit!My experience with these skinny ... they have a regular size waist, not a "slim" waist. The legs meanwhile are a slimmer cut than a regular jean. My older son is a slim to regular waist and he can wear his normal size in this skinny ... long as he adjusts the waist. My middle son is too slim for these regular waist skinny ... Even with the adjustable waist, they are still too big on him. If you're not sure on size, I would suggest a trip to the store to try them on first. If you normally purchase a regular waist and just want a skinny ... think you will be very happy with these. They are not too skinny. They are a great, modern look and my son likes the skinny ... better than any of his other ON ...
... Review I absolutely love Old Navy's ... I've purchased the regular ... which seem to be a tad bit baggy for my 7 year old, so I thought I would try the ... loved them. They do not seem too ... all like some of the other brands, and fit my son just right. They seemed more straight legged to me more than ... which was my whole purpose of purchasing this particular kind. Definitely a great buy!
Great ... My son loves Old Navy ... these were no exception. The only thing is that he wears a size 8 and these are not available in slim. The GAP size 8 ... fit him perfectly but the old navy ... he has to tighten the waist like 10 button holes in on *each* side- litterally it looks like his pants are elastic they are so bunched at the waist. I wish they came in a slim. I also don't understand the massive size difference since Old Navy and Gap are the same, but it is what it is- on all his size 8 ... Old Navy he needs to do this. Also, the black ... "fade" oddly as they wear, the spots that wear turn blue like (not lighter black, ie. grey) which I think is odd. But overall, he loves them, which is all that matters.
Cute, but not so ... I love that these ... have the adjustable waist. My son that I bought these for is average, not ... but not chunky. His older brother is super ... there's no way these would look nice on him. The cut is more of a straight than a true ... would buy the super ... if ur kid is really thin. The length was a tad long until I ran them through the dryer for a cycle. Don't worry about these being too short if ur son is on the taller side. Great value.

If he is on the healthy side then he might find these uncomfortable. My guy, for the moment, is on the ... side so he looks so grown up and cool in these pants. They have the waistband elastic for adjustable fit (yeah he's that ... they make him look so tall. As always I love the quality of the denim, very durable, and the quality of workmanship always well made garments.
... not slim I just returned these. I thought I was buying slim ... but ended up with regular ... could pull them off my son w/o unzipping, even when tightened as small as possible. I went to the store and the slim ... were wider in the waist than the regular ... experience matches my overall experience w/ Old Navy. You have to try on EVERY item of clothing because each one is different...even if it is marked the same size.
didnt get the fit.my son is a tad stocky but the ... he had last year fit him great. Now these wont even go up his legs. I get that they are ... but How ... do you have to be to wear them? I guess reg isnt it, You have to be ... get in them. THey went back.
Skinny ... not so skinny on a ... kid I buy skinny ... because my kids like the look, but also because my son is just plain long and ... bought a sz 8 because he's got the length in the legs but still needs the adjustable waist, and a lot of brands don't offer the adjustable waist past sz 7. The 8s are OK in the length but the legs are HUGE on him - the pant legs are not even close to ... compared to Levis ... super ... which is what we usually buy. If your kid has long, slim legs, these ... won't have the ... look you're hoping for.
NOT ... I loved Old Navy's ... my 11-year old son from last year, they fit great and were in fact ... These are NOT ... crotch is WAY too long (it's comical how long the crotch is), and they're huge in the waist. And the leg opening is wide. I'm guessing that if you truly want a ... have to go to the Super ... whatever the other style is called, these are awful. They're going back.
