AmazingI was nervous to order these since I have a horrible time finding jeans that fit right and there are also a lot of contradicting reviews. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried these on. I am 5'4" and ordered the 20 Short and they fit perfectly. I think the mesh material is awesome and makes them really slimming and comfortable, ... have enough stretch that they are super comfy yet don't stretch out over the day and look baggy. These are my favorite ... I'm going to order another pair. I know everyone's body is different, but for me personally, these fit awesome!
Fun ... I originally bought these in average since I am 5'7'' but they were about 4 inches too short for me. I figured I would gamble and get the long, and they are perfect! these ... thicker than most ON ... do not stretch out way too big like usual. They don't slim the tummy because the slimming fabric only lies behind the pockets and not a panel across the entire front section. But i don't care if they slim the tummy, they are cute on and are modern colors. Get the medium wash and not the dark wash if you want an everyday jean. the dark color was almost black looking and doesn't look good with tennis shoes at all. Even though most ON ... not the same size in both average length and long length, these are, so don't order down a size just because you order long length. the rise didn't even change when I got the long length, so these are actually made correctly!
New Fav Jean!LOVE the color, style, fit, & price. Usually my ON ... loose & I wear a belt but these are perfect. I used to buy ... another place at 3X's the price & still had to take them in for hemming. The short's at ON are the perfect length for me. No more waiting on my ... hemmed. Would give these ... more than 5 stars!
Comfy but flatteringI bought these just in case the pair that I thought would work didn't. Well, the pair that I thought would work didn't, but these really, really did. I have a relatively small butt but a thick waist and belly, and these were great for my body type. They have a true at your-waist rise, which I actually think is more flattering, at least for me, as a ... size--no muffintop. Despite the high rise, they're not unfashionable per se (probably best to avoid tucking in your shirt with these tho). I don't think they are any more slimming than another pair of flare/ bootcut ... despite the inner lining, but they did fit me beautifully. I would say that these are more of a flare than a bootcut--they cover most of my shoe. The inseam is stated as 34", but I'm 5'10" and they seem quite a bit longer than that. The fabric isn't quite as weathered as I would've liked, but it is a good slightly crosshatched stretch with mild give. I was just so grateful to find a pair that fit so well--to summarize: a great pair for someone with more in the front than the back.
LOVEEEEE!!!!!Over a year ago, I stopped buying ON Jeans because I couldn't seem to find a size that really fit "me." I found these jeans online and decided to give ON Jeans another chance. [On a side note, I think it is completely ABSURD that ON ... ONLY found online! I would much rather be trying these jeans on in the store before I buy them!! Even if they just carried Customer Favorites...UGH...how RUDE!! Anyway, that is another issue] When I got the jeans, I wasn't sure about the color because they are darker than what I would normally wear...however, when I put them on....I fell in love!!! They pull your tummy in, pull your butt up (seemingly to me anyway!), the bootcut style gives you a nice silhouette, and the dark color is VERY slimming! I read other reviews that said the Tummy Trimmer style makes them very loose after a little wearing. I have been wearing mine all day and they still feel like they did when I put them on this morning...I don't think I have ever worn a pair of jeans that felt like that!!!! Needless, to say, I am VERY PLEASED. ON definitely got this one RIGHT! :D
Good jean but tummies don''t apply!These ... good quality ... but if any of you have a tummy more than the average these ... not work. The tummy control is just that. Everything pushes up and over not pretty. If you are a women with a little waist and a bigger rump and thighs these ... would work great! Tummies please don't waste your time.
Color NOT what was shown.The fit of these ... overall was ok, though I'm glad I ordered a ... up, as they fit perfectly. I don't think that would have been the case in my ... notorious for having sizing issues, so I'm never sure what to expect. Overall, I love the fit of these ... although I ordered them in a regular and find them to be much longer than I'd prefer. Also, I WISH I could find a BOOTCUT JEAN. I'm so tired of ordering bootcut, only to find that they're HUGE flares. There's a difference! ON needs to figure that out. I hate the look of the flare on these, but love the way they fit in the hips and waist. Very comfortable, and they do look nice on, but I was very disappointed in the color. I was expecting a washed out, light blue denim with a little wearing, and what I got was a HEAVY, dark blue denim with absolutely no wearing at all. I hate the color with a passion, as I'm not a fan of dark denim. I'll be keeping them because of the fit, but overall, I'm not a huge fan of these ...
Not the same as last year :(Last year I bought these ... since they fit so well, I wear them every other day. The material and fit of last year's pair are amazing. The quality is excellent. Not so for this year's version. It is lower rise, too tight in the tummy, the cut is not as slimming and the fabric quality is not as good. BOO!! Please remake the ... sold last year, ON, I'll pay double!!!!
Well.........Wish I HADN''T listened to the reviews.Stick with your true ... IF you DO decide to purchase these ... normally wear a 26 and am 5'4", but after reading the reviews, I decided to go up a size.(ordered Short length). Well that's where I made a HUGE mistake. Not only were these ... too too big, they were extremely flared for bootcut ... They practically swallowed my feet. Not to mention, they don't really trim your tummy like they say they do. Since I ordered a 28 they were falling off and weren't clinging to any part of my lower body. The wash was nice and they are cute in the picture, but looks can always be deceiving. Long story short, order you true ... expect flared, not bootcut. ON, you should rethink these ... maybe come out with a slim bootcut.
So Inconsistent!!!I'm normally a size 24 in ON ... but after reading many of these reviews, I chose to order a size up (26) as many other commenters had advised. I received the ... size 26 and could not even get them past my hips!! The ... have a great look to them so I called customer service to return the size 26 and exchange them for a size 28. They really are great looking ... otherwise I wouldn't have exchanged them. Well, I received the ... 28 ... yesterday and upon removing them from the package, I'm certain they mistakenly sent me a hippo's ... Holy cow. You would not believe the HUGE ... difference in going up only one ... would need suspenders to keep these pants up, so needless to say, they're going back! It should be noted that I reviewed the ... 28 ... Does It Fit?" section for this review. If I were commenting on the ... 26 ... my responses would basically have been the polar opposite. I love the look of ON ... but I doubt I'll be ordering any more because the sizing is EXTREMELY INCONSISTENT. :(

For [$], I would have expected better quality denim. Instead, I paid for a cheap pair of ... claim to be slimming. Wish I had NEVER wasted my money.
