straight leg jeans for women - reviews

Diva''s fit guys great alsoI'm a guy and I bought a pair of these to see if they would fit me better than all the ugly baggy ... made for guys. These fit great! I'm 6', 160 lbs, around 36" hips and I bought these in a size 6 tall and they fit perfect. These aren't your typical skinny ... make your calves look tiny and just dumb on guys. These ... more of a tapered straight leg, at least that's how this pair fits me. And there is room in the front due to the stretch, it doesn't look obsene at all. Old Navy would sell a lot more of these ... guys if they had a different name. Just rename them to something like "rocker" and put them in the mens dept. and they would sell! I hope this helps the guys out there that are on the fence about ordering a pair.

Better than Rockstar ... I returned my Rockstar ... because they were so tight, they felt like leggings which I know is the way they are supposed to fit but being a plus size woman, I didn't want to accentuate all my curves. I looked up the Diva jean and it had everything I was looking for in a skinny jean but the lower leg was more of a straight leg and although still skin hugging, they stretched and had more room so that they didn't show every imperfection. I loved the Diva ... so much I bought them in a dark and regular wash.

Could be skinny erI ordered 5 pairs of ... 2 skinny diva 1 bootcut diva 1 dreamer bootcut and 1 rockstar. So the diva bootcut...could of been tighter in the hip/rear/leg. I'm 5'4 160lbs and got a size 10 reg. I found it to be more of a straight leg jean than a skinny jean. I will be buying more rockstar ... fact I'm expecting a pair today! On the real I love ON ...

Pretty good!I just bought my first pair of Diva Skinny ... like them quite a bit. I am 5'5", size 14 and the regulars fit well and are the perfect length. The waist is just a smidge higher than I'd like, but is still below waist and is okay. The leg opening is not really skinny - more like straight leg. Looks good though. Good ... money. WISH THEY CAME IN COLORS!!

Not a skinny jeanI love the Diva ... so I was excited about these. I love the Rinse color. The ... were at least a size too big and were more of a straight leg jean. I will be returning them for a smaller size. Not sure if they are skinny enough to tuck into boots, but I liked them enough to wear as a straight jean.

Decent for the priceI really like these ... bought them in the "Rinse" color and it is a good dark wash. Looks 4x more expensive than the [$] I paid for them. They have a good stiching as well, the back pockets look almost identical to my Banana Republic ... only downfall is the leg is not a true skinny. It's more of a straight leg. It doesn't bother me too much as I can just cuff them since I bought them to wear with my boots anyway. Also, I would advise going a size down. I'm usually a size 10 in ON pants and I bought the 8 in these. They are a bit snug in the waist when I first put them on but it does stretch out some during the day. All in all, a pretty good pair of ... price.

Not so skinny ... A petite, hourglass shape (smaller waist, fuller hips), I ordered these ... two sizes to see which fit best. I have been wearing the low cut Diva fit for years. These are fairly true to the Diva style although I believe the hips are cut narrower than they used to be. Anyway, I ordered a 14S and a 16P to compare. The 14S was a snug fit on the waist and the length of the leg was perfect. The 16P had a more comfortably loose waist, but the legs were wayyyy too long. Petite? Really? I like my ... looser, but I kept the 14S because the leg was right. Sometimes they still feel a bit snug at the waist. Having said that, I have worn them about 4 times now, and each time I wear them, I can feel them giving more and loosening a bit. I have noticed that this happens with ON ... also why I am giving them only 3 stars: the legs are not skinny. Although they started out feeling slim on the leg, the more I wear them, the pouchier they get on the thighs. I tried on some ON jeggings and they were too tight on the legs for my taste - not to mention beind unreliable in terms of size (every pair fits differently) - so I am not looking for skin tight, but these "skinny ... don't appear to keep their shape for long. They are more like a relaxed fit, straight leg. I docked one more star because they do that annoying "waistband gap" thing at the back (where it sticks out a few inches even though it fits fine on the rear). I tend not to wear a belt with these, so when I'm wearing a slimfit shirt, the waistband gap is kind of obvious and spoils any slimming effect from the silhouette. They do seem durable, though.

As much as I want to keep these, they''re going back!I am really bummed about these ... wanted to keep them because they are a really nice material, but there are too much things that aren't right about them. They are NOT SKINNY ... these need to be called straight legged because if I were to keep them, I would have to have the leg from the calf down taken in an inch or two. I do not like straight leg ... prefer true skinny ones. Also, I am an hourglass and the back of the wait had a big gap. I ordered a size 14 (same size of all my other ON ... they were super tight in the thighs and big in the waist. Also, they kept rising up on my calves making an awkward crease.

I like them!Good pair of skinny/straight ... like that they are not too tight on the lower leg, more of a straight leg than a super tight skinny jean. The back waistband gaps a bit, but I can live with that.

Can''t beat it for the priceThese ... overall ok. The denim in boardy (stiff)- but wilth a few washes w/ vinegar (to retain color & make softer) it will be better. I brought the dark wash. However, I don't understand the fit. The thigh is too tight but the waistband is loose (There is about a 1-2 inch gap in back). Their fit models must have thick wasits and skinny thighs. I always come accross this with Old Navy ... more of a straight leg than the expected tapered leg of skinny jean- I tried them on in the store but brought them anyway because they looked good- even though the fit wasn't perfect but the price was good so I got them.

Not what I expectedIf you're looking for "skinny" ... would not go with these. They were more like a "straight leg" fit, which made the legs really baggy and the bottoms were too big for my version of skinny ... waist and hip areas fit well, but going down from there they were too baggy to be called skinny ... They were comfortable, but again, not what skinny ... expected to be.

straight leg jeans for women - reviews

I bought these jeans for my 11 year old who is 5 ft 4 and less than 100 lbs. The saleslady was very helpful and recommended the Diva for my daughter's slim build. These jeans fit her perfectly and didn't cost me an arm and leg. Happy momma and daughter!

Awesome!I am 6' and ALL leg! I was so excited to get these and them be long enough to wear heels!!!

Great fit, but I needed the extra leg length...These Diva Cut jeans are fantastic for people like me, who have a very "straight", boyish figure (i.e. no hips!) They fit superior to many others I've tried, which are either cut too generously in the hips, or else are very gappy in the waist. I did have to order the "long" length online, however, if I wanted to wear them with heels....(and I am only 5'2", so I can't even imagine WHO wears the regular or "short" version!)

Great surprise!I've been described as having a hourglass figure, with a well developed butt. (No, I'm not Jessica Alba or anything; definitely got some softer curves.) So I was worried about the Diva being for "straight" figures; that is NOT what I've got. However, my butt has never looked better! I got these in a 10L, though I usually wear an 8-10R, so I could wear them with heels for going out or Dankso clogs for work (I teach). They're perfect for either scenario, and look great with a button up and a vest or a tee. The pictures don't do these jeans justice. My only problem with them is that the waist is a little wide, so I have to wear a belt or pull the pair up.

Diva is consistentWhile I wouldn't say these are my all time favorite jeans, for the price they are a solid pair of boot cuts! I got the lighter color this time in my standard size and they fit great. I'm 5'4" 128 and the 4 is perfect - I have a pretty straight body, minimal waist and not really any hips, so the slimness of this cut works pretty well for me. Length works with heels and the front rise is low while the back is a little higher so it prevents the pants from gaping & falling too much. I agree w/other reviewers, the material is a little thin but that's OK with me because they are comfortable & a little stretchy - given the rinse that I bought I'd say they will be one of my go to weekend jeans.

pretty good :)i have 2 pairs of these ... least 3 years ago and I still wear them. They fade REALLY fast so make sure you only wash them when needed and inside out. They form to your body the longer you have them which is wonderful! When I put them on I feel like they are a glove and made just for me. Fitted in the butt, hips, and thigh then a perfect "boot cut" leg from the knee down. This is the most flattering style for most body types, mine included. The rise hits me right below my belly button so I wouldnt say they are low rise, i guess mid rise? The only complaints I have are that they fade fast and the waist band stretches out fast so you have to wear a belt in order to keep them up.

Great ValueI bought these jeans in the store in regular length and felt I needed a little more length to wear them with heels. The longer length is just about perfect, a tad longer than I need but the length always shrinks over time so I prefer a little longer than shorter. The 0 long is a bit bigger in the waist, hips, etc. than the 0 regular but I think I can still live with them. I have odd proportions so I really struggle to find jeans that fit well. For the price, these are very good. I would love to see these with a flaired leg.

Flattering fitJust bought these in rinse. Like the bootcut because it's straight not as flared as the flirt bootcut. The flirt fit a tad better in waist but these will be fine with a belt. I'm petite, 5'1 120lb with large thighs but these fit and look great. Size 8 short is good with heels. Also bought diva skinny. They fit nicely in hips, thighs, calves and better in waist than these. The bootcut is more flattering but the skinnies are the best I've found if you're short and athletic built. I love both!

Good alternative for women who don''t like skinny jeansI can't wait until the skinny jean fashion phase ends. Unless you have a perfectly proportioned waist, butt and thigh, skinny ... not a good look. I'm a size 2, but thanks to my athletic thighs and non existent butt, I can't wear anything with a sharply tapered leg. I'm also quite short, so low rise is a must with any pant or skirt. These ... were the only ones out of dozens and dozens I've tried that actually fit me. They're still not perfect, though. The denim is kinda thin compared to other brands, and the waistband is too large and stretchy. That seems to be a common problem-- I wish manufactures would stabilize waistbands better. I sew a lot, so I'm planning on stitching a 1.5" grosgrain ribbon to the inside of the waistband to help it keep its shape.

Diva Jeans...I bought the Rockstar slim jeans from ON and I loved them. I need some bootcut jeans and thought the Diva would be a great fit for my 5' 180lb figure. I have a straight waist but carry my weight in the tummy. So I got the 18 short. Thye were 4 inches too long and the length of the rise should be for a 5'8 tall woman. I guess I felt good they were too big. But I took them back to store and tried the 16 and couldn't get them past my hips...hhmmm oh well. Returned.
Wanted to like, but....I ordered 3 different styles of the Old Navy jeans hoping to find the right one for me. Sadly, all of them have extra material at the top of the leg, base of the seat. That loose material hits exactly at the worst place. The widest part of your hips. I don't know ANY woman who wants to emphasize that area. A lot of women will think that these jeans give you some room in the seat which feels more comfortable but what they don't realize is that it makes them look dumpy.Unless you are well endowed on your backside or inner thigh don't bother.

A lot of women will think that these jeans give you some room in the seat which feels more comfortable but what they don't realize is that it makes them look dumpy.Unless you are well endowed on your backside or inner thigh don't bother.

straight leg jeans for women - reviews

The only complaints I have are that they fade fast and the waist band stretches out fast so you have to wear a belt in order to keep them up.

straight leg jeans for women - reviews
