GREAT fora tall manI ordered these pants for my son who is 6"6' tall and they fit him nicely. They are not short on him and fit well all around and he is slim. He says they are very comfortable. They also wash well. Thank you. Keep up the good work with the tall man selections.

Great fitI bought these for my husband. Old Navy seems to be the best place to buy his ... he is so tall. He wears a 36 x 36, which are almost impossible to find in a decent price. Old Navy is the only place I ever buy his ... because they are reasonably priced, ship fast, and are true to their size. He loves them!

Painter ... Purchased these ... my hubby to work in. He's an electrician so I figured the extra pockets and loop on the thigh would be great additions for him. He is 6'9" and 280lbs and we purchase all of his ... because the tall length (36") inseam fits him PERFECTLY. The ... fit perfectly and he loved them. Once again, THANKS ON!

Perfect for manual labor work!!!My fiance' now has 5 pairs of these painter ... work. He had 2 pair, and I just bought him 3 more pair. He is an electrician, and says they are perfect for his job!!!! Remember, they are work ... not going out on the town ... He is tall 36L and has always had a hard time finding ... long enough. They have held up to rigorous working conditions very well!
lenght of pantsYou do realize that in the world that there are people who are tall and thin. Everyone carries clothes for big and tall , but not smnall and tall. Not everyone can have their clothes tailored made to look good on them. It is a sad world when you pay good money for items and they don't fit right but you have to wear them because there is nothing else out there for you. Yes world there are ... need pants that have a 32" waist and 38" inseam. Could someone make them some pants!

I bought him a replacement pair in December and they've already split in the crotch however I was able to exhange them for the exact same pair in store.
DisappointedOrdered 4 pairs of these ... my husband. We have always bought him loose Old Navy ... He is tall and thin and I always have to order his ... online. These ... were too tight in the thigh and had a very short rise and were very uncomfortable for him. Unfortunately these have to be returned.

Go to ... my husband I have ordered these ... multiple times for my husband. He doesn't want anything else. He loves the fit, the material, and the price. He's tall, but not overweight--this can make it quite difficult to find affordable ... actually fit. When the ... get a bit worn, my husband wears them to do yardwork and split firewood...these ... even stand up to that abuse.
Nice ... thigh portion is tighter than expected. These are some pretty good ... big and tall size for a good price. Compared to the Old Navy Loose fitting ... thigh portion on these ... smaller. It's not enough of an issue for me to send them back, but they are definitely tighter in that area. The rise is as to be expected (just below the waist), the rear is good as well (not too baggy, not too tight), and the length is just about spot on. I am 6'4", 240lbs, 38" waist, and a 37" inseam. I ordered the 40x36 as I like a bit of room in the waist and always wear a belt with my ... Quality wise, the ... seem to be well made. They are not made from as heavy a material as say Levi's, but do not feel cheap or like they are going to start wearing out prematurely. Good ... overall.

I would recommend these to any guy who has difficulties finding ... regular store. The price was excellent, often Big & Tall sizes run higher than needed, so finding these ... price was a great find for me.
Love these ... My husband is 6'4 and 180 lbs ... skinny). These ... look and fit great on him. He wears 32x36L. They are very durable, plus he gets compliments on how good they look all the time. He loves them and has been an Old Navy jean guy for several years now.
tall skinny guySo I'm a tall and skinny guy, 6'2" at 170 lbs and barely have a rear end to hold up my pants. I found a pair of these ... couple of years ago. These ones were 32X34 which are my normal pants size, but they were a tad too short for some reason. Anyway, I spoke with a lady at Old Navy who said that these ... shrink legth wise when put through the dryer, so I decided to buy some 32X36 and see how they fit. Before putting them through the dryer, they were way too long, but after a nice hot cycle, they are sweet! They are very comfortable ... really fit my body style well. The pockets in the back are close together, so it doesn't make my rear end look saggy. Also, the low rise gets rid of the sagginess in the rear and in the jock area. Hope this helps all you tall skinny dudes out there!

Really nice ... I always order my ... oldnavy.com I am always satisfied with delivery, fit, and quality. The only issue/complaint that i have is that when oldnavy has promotional sales, they often exclude their mens ... Other than that I'm satisfied.
They Have Changed Something!!!!First time I have purchased a pair of ... 3 years, and old navy has always been my brand of choice. I own two extra loose cut pair of Old Navy ... which the style has been discontinued, and two pair of boot cut ... These new boot cut ... have just purchased are a bit tight in the thigh area. My older boot cut ... Old Navy have a little more room/relax feel to their boot cut jean, than this new boot cut style. Not sure why Old Navy has changed the way they make their style ... but I am very disappointed. Thier present loose cut should be called their boot cut jean, and they need to bring back their extra loose cut jean because in my opinion they presently do not have a true loose cut jean. Until they figure it out, I will be looking for a different brand of jean to meet all of my needs.
You get what you pay for.The ... worth the price, but not by much. The denim is thin and the zipper just feels flimsy. They fit well, but the boot cut on the bottom of the leg is too big in my opinion. I always wear boot cut ... compared these to all my others. OldNavy boot cut ... were 1" wider at the bottom of the leg then my largest boot cut jean. I think I will have to bring them in and have them taken in about an inch and a half. They look more like bell bottom ... than a boot cut jean.
inconsistantI purchased (3) of the same style / size ... they all fit different. I have worn this same size and style Old Navy jean for a few years now and none of the 7 pair that I own fit the same. They wear well and I like the ... but I wish they were a bit more consistant with the fit.

WonderfulMy husband is 6'5 and has larger calves....wears a size 40 with a 34 length which is incredibly difficult to find in a lot of stores. I feel like local retailers are carrying ... shorter ... force tall ... have to look elsewhere. Additionally, many loose fitting ... not really "loose" fit. These are and my husband absolutely loves them. Way to go Old Navy. You've got this one exactly right, great ... terrific fit and great price!
Thank goodness!Thank goodness we found a place that sells ... tall, skinny young ... I've found that "Big and Tall" means big, tall ... My grandson is 6'6" and I have had a hard time fitting him. He was VERY pleased with the order. Exactly what he wanted!

He is really a size 30 waist, but I got these ... size 32 X 34 since he would be wearing them casually and wanted them a bit loose (but not baggy). The fit is great. The waist is a bit big (as expected) but once he puts on his belt, its fine. The length is great for him and he absolutely loves the feel of the fabric - very smooth and well constructed ... Colors are rich and quality is very good.
Love these ... I am a tall big guy so Old Navy Loose fit ... perfect for me. In a world where skinny ... all over the place, its comforting to know that we big people, who would never look good in skinny ... still have options. For me, most ... too tight in the thigh and butt area but loose fit ... giver me plenty of room. I am a IT analyst at a local hospital so I am constantly on the move. I definitely recommend these to everybody!!!!!!

Yes!I have been searching for ... my 6'2+" 15 year old thin son. Hard to find smaller waist and longer inseam. I tried Old Navy's straight fit and it fit more like skinny ... him, and some boys may like this, but not his style. I reordered loose fit and they fit him well. I ordered two pair of 30X34 and two pair 32X36 . . . he kept all of them! Thank you Old Navy for making tall sizes! Old Navy is my Go To store for my tall shirts and pants as well. I have had much success in ordering, and when I have had to return a few items it was simple. LOVE the carefree shopping with free return shipping.
big size loose ... These ... not the old style old navy but they are comfortable and were true to size, the butt was a little tight and the bottoms are a little to flanged but all in all I'm satisfied, I am a heavy guy but short so if your big or tall don't try to squeeze into the regular's or you will find they are skinny jean's with a low rise,big and tall sizes are are pretty much true to size.
Yes!I have a 15 year old teenage boy who is 6' 2"+ and not very big around the waist. Most ... only come in a 30 waist with 32 being the longest length. Thanks to Old Navy, I was able to purchase several pair of their loose fit 30 X 34 and 32 X 36 ... my son. The ... were very reasonably priced and shipped right to my door. Thank you Old Navy for having tall sizes, for my son as well as myself. Old Navy is the place I also get all of my tall shirts for myself.
Better selection of sizes of ... boys changing to men''s The Old Navy ... great, but I have a hard time finding the right sizes for my son. He is only 14 but he is tall and thin. If I find them tall enough, then the waist is way too big. Someone needs to make a better sizing method for boys when they go from boys sizes to ... There are no good sizes in between. I work at Old Navy and we get that complaint from customers a lot.
Too snug in hips and thighs.I bought these "loose fit" ... online for christmas for my husband. My husband is big and tall (6'3" and about 250 lbs. He is not obese, but has quite a bit of muscle). When the ... arrived, I noticed that the fabric is quite thin. It is not a thick denim. When my husband opened them and saw the length of 36", he thought they would be too long (he usually wears a 34") the length was not too long, but fine. The biggest problem is that the ... fit him similar to how a girl would wear her jeans...a bit snug. This is fine for some guys, but my husband likes BAGGY ... so we took them back to the store. Old Navy was very nice about returning them. No problems in doing so. Only buy these if the guy doesn't mind snug fitting ... if he is a really thin guy).

All around, the ... just fit weird (tight on the thighs, loose on the waist) and the color was a little off. Hope this helps!

When my husband opened them and saw the length of 36", he thought they would be too long (he usually wears a 34") the length was not too long, but fine. The biggest problem is that the ... fit him similar to how a girl would wear her jeans...a bit snug. This is fine for some guys, but my husband likes BAGGY ... so we took them back to the store. Old Navy was very nice about returning them. No problems in doing so. Only buy these if the guy doesn't mind snug fitting ... if he is a really thin guy).

Cheap materialI have worn Old Navy ... past 6 or 7 years. I recently purchased two pair of the regular fit. When I got them, I was highly disappointed at the color of the ... thickness of the denim. The denim color is very light indigo and then stained so they look like dirty ... right out of the wash. The material is thin and stretchy. Definitely not a traditional pair of denim ... Time to find another jean supplier.
Bring back the looseAs one previous reviewer mentioned, you can't be big AND tall, you have to be one or the other to shop here much of the time. I say this because the loose fit jeans are no longer, and a couple years ago the extra loose jeans were also discontinued. Both of those sizes really fit nicely for those of us who are big, tall and thick (ha!). Regular fit jeans are too tight in the thighs, butt and waist when you are big and tall, and good luck finding your size, and again, with regular, don't even bother. We are big and tall for a reason, we need pants, often times that are a little looser in the leg. Looks like I will be shopping elsewhere for jeans!

Surprisingly Great ... I am so glad that Old Navy finally gave in to the trends and came up with a slim fit jean. These ... looser than the skintight skinny ... but not nearly as loose looking as the regular straight ... sz 40X34, it's virtually impossible to find ... any store. And, when I am able to find ... usually end up having to go with a shorter length (32) than I prefer. I bought these along with the slim straight ... only difference is in the calf/ankle area. These fit more closely to that area while the slim straights fit almost the same in the hip and thigh but, more straight through the ankle. If they had some additional nice washes (maybe a light color like the one featured on the model of the homepage), I'd definitely come back. Thanks ON!
Soft but durable materialAfter a couple of wash and-wears, these ... still comfortable to wear; I knocked it down one notch because I think there may be some inconsistent sizing issues between what is occasionally received in stores versus the sizing on ... purchased online. However, the sizing was still within the range that I would consider it "true to size" -- just be aware that you may need a belt handy! Other than that, the color and quality are consistent with Old Navy's other jean offerings, which I've experienced to be very good.

great teenager jeanThese ... satisfy parents and teenage boy! The fit is modern with a slim leg but not "skinny" so sone can feel comfortable being active and stylish at the same time. My son LOVEs theseWe searched several stores trying to find ... fit my almost 12 year old. He is just in that stage where boys pants are too small and adult pants are too big. So we purchased a 29x30 as he is on the tall side. These are his favorite pants. We bought 2 pairs before Thanksgiving and he got another 2 pairs of Christmas. They keep getting softer with each wash. I always do my initial wash with ... dark clothing in vinegar alone as that sets the color. His dark wash are staying dark and not bleeding onto anything, and the colors are staying the color we purchased them. We have always been happy with ON ... continue to shop there for him.

The best ... Oh, my gosh - if you have a tall, slender teenager (or any guy for that matter) in your life, these are a lifesaver! We have spent hours looking for ... my slender yet gangly teen son, and these are a dream. Any place we've shopped we were told they do not make a 30x34. Old Navy has them, and at a great price. Nice fitI was a little hesitant to buy these for my husband because there were so many reviews saying that they fit tall skinny teenagers perfectly and my hubby is average height with an athletic build, but they fit him really well! He usually likes looser fitting ... not too fond of anything too fitted, but these are just fitted enough to look good without being too tight or restrictive. Plus I love the dark rinse, he can wear them for casual stuff, or put on a nice shirt to dress them up a little.

Great ... I purchased these ... my 16 year old son - he is 6' 4" tall and it's a bit difficult finding his size so we decided to give these ... shot and they fit great! He loves them and the length is perfect for his tall, slim build. Well made, great color, great fit overall and they wash well with very minimum shrinkage and very minimum fading.

good light weight pantMy husband loves these ... nice and light weight, don't know how long they'll last but he says they are so comfy...some were a little longer than others and he's a tall so just remember you may end up with different lengths but they were still fine for him..he's 6'6"
Cheap materialI have worn Old Navy ... past 6 or 7 years. I recently purchased two pair of the regular fit. When I got them, I was highly disappointed at the color of the ... thickness of the denim. The denim color is very light indigo and then stained so they look like dirty ... right out of the wash. The material is thin and stretchy. Definitely not a traditional pair of denim ... Time to find another jean supplier.
Bring back the looseAs one previous reviewer mentioned, you can't be big AND tall, you have to be one or the other to shop here much of the time. I say this because the loose fit jeans are no longer, and a couple years ago the extra loose jeans were also discontinued. Both of those sizes really fit nicely for those of us who are big, tall and thick (ha!). Regular fit jeans are too tight in the thighs, butt and waist when you are big and tall, and good luck finding your size, and again, with regular, don't even bother. We are big and tall for a reason, we need pants, often times that are a little looser in the leg. Looks like I will be shopping elsewhere for jeans!

He's tall, but not overweight--this can make it quite difficult to find affordable ... actually fit. It's not enough of an issue for me to send them back, but they are definitely tighter in that area. The rise is as to be expected (just below the waist), the rear is good as well (not too baggy, not too tight), and the length is just about spot on. I am 6'4", 240lbs, 38" waist, and a 37" inseam. I ordered the 40x36 as I like a bit of room in the waist and always wear a belt with my ... Quality wise, the ... seem to be well made. They are not made from as heavy a material as say Levi's, but do not feel cheap or like they are going to start wearing out prematurely. Good ... overall.

tall skinny guySo I'm a tall and skinny guy, 6'2" at 170 lbs and barely have a rear end to hold up my pants. I found a pair of these ... couple of years ago. These ones were 32X34 which are my normal pants size, but they were a tad too short for some reason. Anyway, I spoke with a lady at Old Navy who said that these ... shrink legth wise when put through the dryer, so I decided to buy some 32X36 and see how they fit. Before putting them through the dryer, they were way too long, but after a nice hot cycle, they are sweet! They are very comfortable ... really fit my body style well. The pockets in the back are close together, so it doesn't make my rear end look saggy. Also, the low rise gets rid of the sagginess in the rear and in the jock area. Hope this helps all you tall skinny dudes out there!

Not sure why Old Navy has changed the way they make their style ... but I am very disappointed. Thier present loose cut should be called their boot cut jean, and they need to bring back their extra loose cut jean because in my opinion they presently do not have a true loose cut jean. Until they figure it out, I will be looking for a different brand of jean to meet all of my needs.

The rise on these ... little low, particularly since they're supposed to be worn at or just below the waist. They are also a little slim through the leg, but this is not a disappointment because you can pay the extra for a straight through the leg cut. One really nice thing about these ... online photos do not give the design of the jean justice. So they look better in person. All in all, these are four star ... great for the price, but they are not exceptional.
Not True Slim ... Unlike Old Navy's skinny ... these fit more like a straight leg jean should than a pair of ... aim to be slim. The leg opening is to big, otherwise they're pretty good ... have a nice quality for what they cost.

My son LOVEs theseWe searched several stores trying to find ... fit my almost 12 year old. He is just in that stage where boys pants are too small and adult pants are too big. So we purchased a 29x30 as he is on the tall side. These are his favorite pants. We bought 2 pairs before Thanksgiving and he got another 2 pairs of Christmas. They keep getting softer with each wash. I always do my initial wash with ... dark clothing in vinegar alone as that sets the color. His dark wash are staying dark and not bleeding onto anything, and the colors are staying the color we purchased them. We have always been happy with ON ... continue to shop there for him.
