Very pleasedI bought this style in two different colors for my 19yr old son. He's a very tall, athletic guy so he can't buy pants in the regular ... department any more. He must look for big and tall and it is not easy to find a 36 x 36. That size seems to be too short for the usual ... departments and the waist is too small for the "big" departments. We are so happy that Old Navy has pants that fit a ... physically fit guy. They look great, fit very well and it is super easy to just go online, order and have them a few days later. Previously we would search all over for pants in his size with no luck. We also ordered the cargo shorts from the ... section so they are a couple inches longer. Very pleased.
Great ... Bought these for my husband. He really liked a pair I got him a couple years ago...and continues to like them. Even over more expensive brands I've purchased. They fit great and it's nice to be able to find long for our ... guys out there. Big and ... stores tend to have a little more mature cuts. Good buy overall!

WonderfulMy husband is 6'5 and has larger calves....wears a size 40 with a 34 length which is incredibly difficult to find in a lot of stores. I feel like local retailers are carrying ... shorter ... force ... have to look elsewhere. Additionally, many loose fitting ... not really "loose" fit. These are and my husband absolutely loves them. Way to go Old Navy. You've got this one exactly right, great ... terrific fit and great price!
Very Nice ... These ... great! I love that Old Navy has them priced like their regular ... - my husband has to order ... every other store raises the prices so much. Granted the ... just a little too long a 35 length would be perfect but we won't complain b/c especially on the after Thanksgiving sale - great price for the product! Thank you Old Navy!
Great ... I purchased these ... 2 colors for my 15 Year old son, who is pretty ... (6' 2") and slim. He sometimes has difficulty in finding ... his waist size/length. He is really a size 30 waist, but I got these ... size 32 X 34 since he would be wearing them casually and wanted them a bit loose (but not baggy). The fit is great. The waist is a bit big (as expected) but once he puts on his belt, its fine. The length is great for him and he absolutely loves the feel of the fabric - very smooth and well constructed ... Colors are rich and quality is very good.
Nice ... slightly tight I bought these ... my very ... long legged husband (he's 6'6" and is mostly legs). I have to say, I am impressed with the length of these ... Normally he can't wear anything that isn't made by Cinch or 20X. But these ... LONG! They fit very nicely, too. I had debated between these and the boot cut and I'm glad I got these. We knew that Loose fit has a better chance of fitting him in 36" inseam (he normally wears a 38"), but these are just on the verge of being too tight. They're not exactly Loose fit as we're used to it. However, we are overall very happy with these ... would recommend them to any ... guy who has trouble finding long enough ...
Decent ... great price These ... look great and feel great. The only thing I don't like about the ... Big & ... sizes feel like they are cut for the skinny. I've always had large thighs since my baseball playing days and I must say that the thigh area do not feel like loose fitting ... Overall, I think that I can break them in and they will feel better, but I've owned Old Navy loose fitting ... past and they have never felt like I'm wearing ... too tight. The waist is great and maybe a little big due to them slightly falling down but that is not a big deal to me.
Better selection of sizes of ... boys changing to men''s The Old Navy ... great, but I have a hard time finding the right sizes for my son. He is only 14 but he is ... thin. If I find them ... enough, then the waist is way too big. Someone needs to make a better sizing method for boys when they go from boys sizes to ... There are no good sizes in between. I work at Old Navy and we get that complaint from customers a lot.
I have worn these ... long time. However, this order of 3 pairs has been nothing but problems. We have had to send several pairs back for replacements. One pair was too short, one pair split on the front, one pair had a broken zipper. They also don't fit the same. Each pair fits differently. They didn't used to be like this. Have you changed manufacturer's? I had to take all 3 pairs back. Now you are out of stock on these for at least 30 days so I am without any new ... have 2 of my old pairs that I am still wearing. These have to be ordered online because of the size. I wish you would carry big & ... sizes in the stores. It would be much easier. Then I could try the ... before I bought them instead of ordering them & having to return them when the sizing isn't correct. This has been a very frustrating experience.

Nice fitting ... Purchased for my ... skinny son and he loves the ... hoping that ... were longer though as some reviews had mentioned but ... were as described. Would love it if ON would carry ... 30W or 31W in a 36L inseam though. Very difficult to cloth such a ... skinny kid that just keeps getting taller and skinnier! Liked the fact that ... slim, but not skin tight ... do ... close to the body and the denim is lighter and softer than some premium denims that take some breaking in. Have purchased 3 more pair in the other colors and hoping that the ... consistent. Will have to get back to you on that.

Just as expectedI bought ... skinny son. ... really needed a 29 X 34 but ... don't make them so I had to buy the 30 X34. I had read other reviews that said the length was extra long and I was disappointed because the length was just as advertised. ... him as well as any jean can.

rock onmy husband is a thrift store guy. but finding ... challenge for him as a ... slim person. we're both glad we ordered ... slim cut ... look great and feel comfy. ... really rocks them with a t shirt and blazer when he's teaching.
I like the idea, wish ... made boot cut slim fits. I ordered ... my ... thin husband. He always has a problem with ... being too loose in the rear and thighs since he is 6'5 but only 195 lbs. We both loved how ... top, but ... were too much like skinny ... bottom. When you are that ... also have very large feet, and it made them look even bigger with the tapered bottom. He isn't into the "trendy" look of skinny ... so ... just weren't going to work for us. I'm going to try the Slim straight ... but I would really love to see slim ... boot cut- I know the Gap sells them, but we can't afford $70 ... Overall I liked the idea of ... tapered bottom just didn't work for us.
NOT Extra ... advertised As most slim, ... know, it's difficult to find pants that ... pleased to see ... pants being sold at ... Navy, since I've special order most of my pants for a 36" + inseams are hard to find. Sad to say when ... arrived ... were short. When I measured them ... fact measured at 35", not the advertised 36". Luckily, I was able to return them at my local ... Navy store. Wishing the local stores carried ... size so I could at least try them on. I don't plan on reordering ... since I've read several other reviewers found the inseam to also be 35" too. ... Navy needs better quality control.

A pair of jeans that fit!I feel great in these ... They aren't too snug, they aren't too loose, and they rise high enough that I can sit in them comfortably. Plus they come in "tall", which is exactly what I need. With the weather cooling down, I've already worn them tons of times. Throw them on with a jacket or a sweater, or a nice flannel button down. It's a classic look that's casual but still stylish.
My son is very tall and very thin. These ... fit perfectly and he loves them. We will be ordering more!

Comfy and sexy!!I purchased these as a gift for my boyfriend and he just loves them! He is not very tall and always has a problem finding ... just the right length..until now! So not only is he very happy, but so am I..he looks HOT in them 8-)

UnhappyVery unhappy that the jeans were what we wanted. Great color, great fit BUT WITH DEFECTIVE ZIPPER!!! What's worse is you are out of stock in that item. And your company can't tell me when you will receive more. I love your clothes, I shop with you all the time but its frustratring when you are limited in tall sizes.
Odd sizingOrdered these in a 44/36 for my son since ON carries that as their largest waist in tall... You can be big... or tall but not both. Go figure. Anyway, the other items we ordered, the bootcut heans and the khakis were great, these were small in the waist, butt and hip... weird cut on these... if you are a big and tall... stick with the bootcuts.
Bring back the looseAs one previous reviewer mentioned, you can't be big AND tall, you have to be one or the other to shop here much of the time. I say this because the loose fit jeans are no longer, and a couple years ago the extra loose jeans were also discontinued. Both of those sizes really fit nicely for those of us who are big, tall and thick (ha!). Regular fit jeans are too tight in the thighs, butt and waist when you are big and tall, and good luck finding your size, and again, with regular, don't even bother. We are big and tall for a reason, we need pants, often times that are a little looser in the leg. Looks like I will be shopping elsewhere for jeans!

Perfecto!The ... perfect on my husband who is a little over 6'4. He actually bought the tallest size that was in the store which was a regular 34L and it just did not ... him right at all. I decided to treat him and buy him the ... size and in a 36L from the website since he really wanted and liked the cut of the ... Well ... him perfect. I am so glad ... Navy has ... sizes on the website I just wish ... had it in the store also. Also I would not mind petite sizes for women in the store for myself lol :-)

very niceI ordered ... my boyfriend who is big and ... nervous ordering them because I usually only have luck with one specific brand of ... him well. I was worried that ... may run small. I got 44x34 and ... great! He's 6'4" and the length is very nice with his boots, tennis shoes, or flip flops. He's worn them a few times so far and ... wash very well.....will definitely order from again!
Bootcut ... Seems the flair at the bottom of ... lighter color ... aren't as large as the darkest color. Could be an optical allusion but ... don't seem to ... around the boot the same, still good though. I wish ... caried this size in the store ( 30 x 34 ) . I'm thin and ... so I have no choice but to order them online. I also wish the waist was a little lower but overall ... great ... especially for the price.

Excellent ... These ... perfect for any man who likes a loose ... some extra pockets. My husband does not like tight fitting ... looseness of these is perfect for him. He also likes the painter pockets on the leg for carrying his pen and cellphone. These ... come in great sizes also, and ... just as described. My husband is 6'5" and weighs 190, so he's ... skinny and it is hard to find ... him well. These are them though! Like them so much, I bought a pair for my brother in law for Christmas, since he's also 6'3" and weights about 170. Most of his ... too short, and since his true size is a 32x36, ... almost impossible for find for him. Until now. I bought him a 33x36, and they were perfect leaving a little room for him to grow. Great ... last!

Sizing off from a few years agoI've been purchasing Old Navy ... exclusively for about 5 years now. In the last 2 years the well fitting jean I had enjoyed has not fit so well. Specifically the ... Mens 48" isn't available and the "Big" 48" waist is cut for someone with a _much_ shorter hip and rear. I hope they being offering larger waist sizes in the ... cut.
Definitely Not Like Older Painters!!!Purchased four of these painter ... online for a very good price. I had to go online because my local Old Navy stores (3 within driving distance) do not carry Big & ... sizes. Only 1 out of 4 actually ... lower rise prevented the feel of being loose and caused the ... bunch up around the hips when worn with a belt. Two were too short. The legs are cut to more of a bell bottom, rather than being a wide straight leg loose ... through the thighs. Had to return ... refund. I'm sure this slimmer cut will please some, but if you are looking for an actual Big Guy loose ... jean that is comfortable for work and play, you'll need to look elsewhere--
New painter ... awful If you loved the old painter ... old navy then you are gonna hate the new ones. I am ... always ... 36 length painter ... perfectly. Just received the new style and they are not even wearable, unless we have some flash floods. They are waaay shorter than the old ones and also much tighter around the waist and seat. Since they don't make ... longer than a 36 at old navy, I will never order another pair of ... them until they bring back the old style. And since the ... only reason I ever shopped at old navy, I won't be purchasing anything else, either. BRING BACK THE OLD STYLE PAINTER JEAN!!!!
Bring back the old cut.I agree with the last bunch of reviews... These ... used to ... so much better. They were the only pair of ... wore until they wore out near the back pockets. The regular loose ... little better than these new painters, but even they are nothing like the old loose ... painters. It has been so difficult to find a good pair of ... since I'm ... but now it will be nearly impossible. Please bring the old style back!!!
DisappointedOrdered 4 pairs of these ... my husband. We have always bought him loose Old Navy ... He is ... thin and I always have to order his ... online. These ... were too tight in the thigh and had a very short rise and were very uncomfortable for him. Unfortunately these have to be returned.
I wish I would have read the reviewsWe were so dissapointed in these ... having a big and ... husband it is so hard to find ... him correctly. I found the painters ... have been one of the few ... he likes to wear. They have definately changed the shape of the ... without changing the name. Just to fool us I guess. With so many complaints you would think they would go back to the old style or at least change the name so they don't get unhappy customers. My husband tried them on and thought I bought him girls ... Why a man would want a waist so low I don't understand. I will never buy anything from old navy again unless they change these ... back.

Because he is ... new lower rise made them entirely too tight in the crotch and the legs are no longer loose fitting. Perfect ... In all the years that I have been with my husband (18yrs), this is the first pair of ... can honestly say fits him perfectly. He happens to be a big and ... guy, and it is difficult find ... his length. He has obviously been wearing ... all along, but they usually ... pretty baggy, and the hem ususally sat right near the top of his shoe (over time some would start to look like floods). These ... Navy Straight ... length), ... him perfectly in the rise, waist, hips, thighs and length. Form fitting without being tight. They ... him so well, I immediately ordered 3 more pairs.
Great lengthsMy 14-year ... son is growing like crazy (6 inches this year--already over 6 feet ... we've needed to get new pants and shoes for him every few months for the past year because he keeps growing out of his things. I ordered two pairs of 36-length ... give him a little room to grow and they are great. He has two different colors and both ... well (and we are hopeful that they will ... while). Prices were very reasonable too. It looks like we've found our place for boy's ... Now if only we could find some reasonably priced boys sneakers in a size 14 :-)

36" inseam doesn''t always mean 36" inseamIt's hard to find ... long enough (I'm 6"6") and just because it says it's a 36" inseam isn't necessarily the case. I will try on many pairs of ... same length and hopefully get lucky with a pair that is long enough. This was the case with my last purchase which I had to do online since they do not carry the 36" inseams in the local store. Of the 4 ... ordered, I found 2 that ... other 2 were returned to the local store for a refund. So, if you're ... like me, don't give up. It may take a little patience and a little luck, but it's worth it.

InconsistantI love the way ... Navy ... my butt--tight, not loose. I'm a ... thin guy (30" x 34") who has trouble finding great fitting ... however, each time I purchase ON ... legs are a different length. I have some 34"s touching the ground but the last pairs I purchased, after washing, are almost 2" from the ground. I'll be returning them and wish ON offered 30"x36", but no they don't. Perhaps it would help if I loaned ON my tape measure.
Rise too shortI understand the point of having ... sit below the waist, but there is way too little room in the crotch on ... especially for a ... size. ... quite uncomfortable to sit down in. On the plus side, it is nice to have ... come in slim waists and long lengths (32/36). Too few manufactures make ...

They fit perfect! SKATERS, PLEASE READ.I bought two different colors of these ... so far, they fit just fine! I am a 32W 34L and the best part about these ... can order them to your exact size! I washed, and dryed these ... [[One time, I dryed on cold, and the other, on warm]] They never shrunk. Now, these ... aren't SUPER tight. Not like the tight skater ... But, they are like Levis. So, if you are looking for a decent NOT SUPER EXPENSIVE, skinny jean, Buy these!

Old Navy and I wanted to try tighter ... amazed. Skinny ... my sons hard to fit to skinny and too tall. Thanks so much never seem him so happy with a pair of pants, never seem to be able to get them to fit both in the waist and in the length!!!! If they could come as long as a 36 length that would be the bomb
First Pair of Skinny ... I''ve Purchased This was the first pair of skinny ... I've ever worn. I usually go for straight/slim ... but I wanted to try out the skinny jean style, and I am more than impressed. The ... hug my legs and give them a flattering silhouette. They aren't too tight, and the ... go well with pretty much anything. I've only worn them three or four times so far, but they are definitely the best pair of ... I've ever worn.
Very pleased with skinny ... I've been looking for some ... don't look so baggy (I have a 40 waist) and have been looking for several years now. The largest skinny jean I could find was in a 38 waist (a lttle too snug) and when I found out Old Navy online carried skinny ... waist 40, I jumped right on it. Got them today (in just three days)and they fit really well and I don't look like an 'ice skater.' I will be ordring two more pairs and I should be set on ... awhile. Definitely, very pleased to find some ... want (and at an affordable price.)
Eh, 50/50.I bought a pair of the skinny ... black (I'm tall, so the 36L was what convinced me!) and they fit AWESOME! The black are amazing, but I ordered the exact same size in the dark blue and they felt about three sizes too small. I'm gonna have to return them. In the mean time, the Old Navy slim fit ... fit amazingly as well, though a bit baggier than the skinny fit, so I'll probably stick strictly to them.
Love that they have 34L for my very long legged sonMy 16 year old son is very tall and extremely thin and can only wear Levis' Super Skinny and Skinny ... long as we can find the skinny's in 29 waist, as the 30 is a little big) because even skinny ... bit loose on him. But unless you go onto [...] and pay 70 bucks a pair for 29W or 30W and 34L, they are next to impossible to find. 32L's are barely long enough. Although I couldn't get these in 29W, the 30W's work when he wears a belt and he likes having ... go past his ankles. They are very basic and plain, but not so bad that he won't wear them. Decent ... money.
Alas Old Navy Skinny ... So Old Navy finally jumped the bandwagon with their own brand of skinny ... Before this as a guy always liked his clothes more form fitting I wouldn't touch their ... 10 foot pole but now they've sucked me in. These ... like a step between Levis 511 and 510's in respect to tightness and fit, the rise also falls into the same middle range category. In my regular size they're tight but never overtight and very comfortable. The only downside is that they tend to run a little short, I'm 5'9 and I can usually wear a 30 inseam except with these I needed a 32 length because I wear them over boots. Like most of today's skinny ... rise could be a little higher but overall these skinny ... bang for what they cost. And please, make these in black.

Ordering NightmareOrdered these ... 38x36, had a child's sweatshirt delivered. Returned sweatshirt, reordered ... had a children's pair of skinny ... delivered. Returned childrens ... did not place another order again. REALLY unhappy about this. Not the first time old navy messed up an order either. I'm sure the ... great, never got an opportunity to try them...
