ILove it! I can see where some would think this top was so thin it would not last, but honestly I have washed mine several times and it has kept its shape. The top is very thin and could tear easily but handled with care, it should last a long time. I took the advice of others and bought the top in a size smaller. I also bought it in a regular length instead of the Tall which I ushally buy, it was perfect in every way. If you don't like tops with thin material then this is not your top. For myself "I just love it!!!!
ANOTHER TALL REVIEW... I agree with the other tal reviewer.im 6'2" and these fit great! i ordered large tall.. long enough for skinnies dressed up or down....and yes the 5'8" to 5'9" grils that order talls and then say are too long etc...its cause you ARENT tall..no offense but seeing those reviews always worries me that old navy will see taht and shorten their talls! ooh the HORROR!! for true tall women 5'11" and aboe these are great..size up or down depending your needs or comfort
I have a few of these shirts in different colors. They are super comfortable and breezy while I'm out playing with my kids or running errands. They are longer, but I'm tall, so I appreciate that. The v neck is a little lower than I'd like, but I often wear a colorful sports bra underneath to make it cute but not revealing too much. I'd definetely recommend!
I love these t's. I am only 5'2 so not tall but I buy the xl talls b/c the added length helps hide the extra tummy I still have from the babies. This sounds wierd, but certain colors fit differently eventhough they are the same size. But all in all they shrink up a tiny bit when washing so for me they become the perfect length for lounge wear that will cover past my hips! Great colors--they have a great casual feel to them--looking good comfortable!
Love these! I bought one of these in stores a while back along with one of the classic v neck shirts, not realizing that they were different besides the color and I ended up loving it; however, this shirt runs a lot larger than the classic v necks do, so order down a size! As for the length, I am 5'10" and the first one I bought was almost too long, but when I bought two more in a size down, they were just barely long enough...I wish I'd ordered in tall. They are a thinner material, but it is super comfortable and not so thin that it is see through, though it might be a little after a lot of washings. I wear a C cup and I thought that the v neck was perfect...it showed some, but not too much. I think it would look great on smaller chests as well, though I'm not sure about how it would look on really busty girls. Definitely recommend! Four stars because the fit wasn't quite what I was expecting as far as length goes.
So glad for tall sizes! The only thing I found wrong with this shirt was after wearing it for one day it "pilled" at the underarm site. The tee fit great & I am so happy for tall sizes with great prices.
Perfect cotton tshirt! I am a 6 foot size 6 mother of two small children who is always on the hunt for great cotton tshirts, and I have fallen in LOVE with this shirt - I now own 8 of them (solids and stripes). The fabric is lightweight but not too sheer, perfect for wearing alone or layering. The fit is comfortable - not too loose or tight. And most importantly, the length is great for a tall woman with a long torso, even after washing.
Awesome basic I ordered this in white, M tall, and it fits awesome. I'm 5'10", 135 pounds with a long torso and this shirt is perfect in the tall length. Shape is flattering as well. I love the vintage look, but the white is see through, so it got 4 stars instead of 5.
Nice plain t shirt I often find myself between small and medium with Old Navy tops but I only ordered this in a medium tall. The fit is a little loose but I shrunk it in the dryer a sufficient amount (I think). The length in the torso is great (I am 6' tall and often find shirts to be waaay to short in the torso. Overall, a nice, basic t shirt.
great colors, runs big I ordered several of these, and they are cute colors but run a full size larger than expected. I ordered them in the tall sizes , they are a great length. I'll keep them because of the hassle of exchanging talls, and hopefully drying them will help a little with the size issue.
Cheap and baggy I wanted a plain v neck t shirt, but these are just too cheap. You have to wear a cami under them because the v neck is deep, and the material is so thin you could see my nude bra under it even in gray and the orange colors. I'm slim and tall with a smaller bust, and it fit me funny. While the length is long enough for once, it hangs funny on me and is too loose in the chest, although it kind of tugs at the shoulders. This makes me think it would be more flattering on those with a medium or larger bust- but beware of the deep v! Even for the cheap price, I'm returning them. I don't want a see through tshirt!
Get ready to rock! These denim leggings have just the right amount of stretch to keep you jamming in the style spotlight.
tall women clothes - reviews
Ordered Tall, love it! I ordered the tall because I had previously bought the regulars and as everyone on here notes they run VERY short. So I had the brilliant idea that since I loved the pants but didn't want to buy anything that was going to be so short why not prder the Tall version. Problem solved! The tall are much longer and fully cover my ankle and bunch up a little bit at the bottom which I prefer. So, as 5'5" lady I'm very happy with the Tall version and would highly recommend them to anyone who is bothered by short pants.
girls, girls, girls ok now girls... just so you all know... DO NOT BUY THE "LONG" ONES! if you are over 5'8.... you need to click the tab that says "TALL" and buy those... the long ones are not long. the regulars are floods, and the shorts are capris... there is a HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LONG & TALL HERE LADIES. if you are looking for ones that reach down past your ankles... tall is the way to go! i am 5'8 175lbs and very curvy... the 12 tall is WONDERFUL! they are actually a little longer than most of my jeans... but i LOVE THEM! the "12 LONG" was way too short! but "12 TALL" is fantastic! by far my favorite pair of jeans!!!
Small but just what I needed... Yes, these jeans did run a bit small. I was reading so many reviews saying to size up when you order and that they ran really small, but for wearing these jeans with a long top and tall boots, I wanted them snug. So I decided to order my regular size. I normally wear an ON 8 or 10 in jeans. I'm 5'10" and usually order tall sizes but since I was going to be wearing these down inside riding boots, I opted for the 10 Long. I also ordered a pair of 10 "Tall" too, just for comparison. When they arrived, the 10 Long fit just as I had hoped. When I compared them to the 10 "Tall", the Talls were not just longer in length, but bigger everywhere else too...bigger back pockets and just cut larger in the waist and all the way down. They would never do for what I wanted to use them for. I just wanted to note that for anyone who ever wondered (like myself) exactly how big of a difference there is in "Long" and "Tall" sizes.
4th time is a charm I usually wear a 14 Tall. I ordered the 14s and could not breathe so I tried a 16 Tall and also though my circulation was going to be cut off. They were too tight EVERYWHERE. So, I ordered a 18 tall and they sent me an 18 long, which was really short. FINALLY a very nice ON salesperson felt my pain, gave me a small discount and sent me an 18 Tall. LOVE the color and I can breathe in them. They are cute......just hate that I am wearing an 18 anything....kind of hurts my pride. They are also lower than I thought so I have to be careful what I wear with them so I don't get a muffin top. All and All I would buy them again and feel it was work the wait. But, unless you are rail them SIZE UP!!!!!!
Wow! These are awesome! I just got these in the mail today, so I am writing my review based on my first impressions of these jeans. First off, I am 5'10 and between a 10/12 in regular Old Navy jeans. Also, I would never ever have thought I would be wearing skinny jeans!! I ordered the Dark Wash in 12 Tall, and they fit perfectly. They are definitely not as long as the typical "Tall" jean for Old Navy though. If you are 5'9 or above, I'd recommend ordering the Tall over the Long (which is what I typically order). These jeans are very comfortable and definitely accentuate curves. One thing I noticed though (and this could be due to the length) is that there is a little gathering around my knees. I am hoping this won't become an issue. The one annoying thing about these jeans is that if you ae tall, you have to order them online and take a chance they will fit properly. It would be awesome if the stores could carry at least the Long version in these styles. Overall though, these are awesome jeans and I will be buying more!
Only 1 Thing Would Make These Jeans Better... I'm 5'11" 175 Lbs, I ordered these jeans in 14 tall and also a pair of the Gap jeans in a similar style and color a few months ago. The ON brand was true to size and fit way better. Super stretchy and has great shape retention. The Gap jeans fit like "Mom Jeans" So I came back for more of the ON brand. Unfortunately, the Baby Blue color was sold out in 14 tall. So I decided to try the 14 long. Be advised, even with the 14 tall, they hit 2 inches above my ankle bone which is fine when I wear them with ballet flats or tucked into my knee high boots. If you are over 5'7", don't even bother with the "long length". Too long to be worn as capris, too short to wear as full length. I will return. Please restock the baby blue in 14 tall and consider making "ultra tall".
Too Small I am 5'9 and usually wear a size 8. I purchased 2 pair of the jeans in a 10 Tall because I know Old Navy's clothes are not made for people with curves. I received one pair in a 10 Tall and the other in a 12 Long. The 10 Tall was a bit snug, and while the 12 Long fit better overall they were too short. Turns out, Long is the inseam for the regular length pants. They aren't long at all though! I returned both pair to get them in 12 Tall, and I'm finally satisfied.
Here''s the deal... I'm 5'8, 145 pounds, athletic build, and typically wear an 8 long in ON jeans. In the light denim and black Rockstar jeans, I wear a 10 tall. But in the colored ones? I ordered up to a 12 tall in the purple and could barely button them. Also, the dark denim ones in a 10 tall were such a low rise, even in the tall, that they pulled at my crotch and were totally unflattering. You are basically taking a gamble if you order the tall sizes, because every single color fits differently. In the black and light denim, size up one size from your normal ON size (flirt, diva, whatever). In the colored denim, you want to go up at least 2 sizes, if not 3. And even the tall sizes won't guarantee a rise that will actually work. When you can find your right size, these jeans are awesome. But good luck getting to that point!
Not for tall, curvy woman I have ordered these jeans 4 times, once in my regular size and they were WAYYYYYYYYY too tight and looked like I was on my way to the street corner. Then, I ordered them 1 size up and they were still too tight to breathe in. So, I ordered again, asking for an 18 Tall and they sent me an 18 long! Even though I said several times to make sure it was a tall and not a long! They were wayyyyyyyyyy toooo short, but at least I could breathe in them. I am 5'10" and curvy and I usually wear a 14 tall. Now, I am going to try one more time with an 18 tall, which will not arrive until next week. If not for the price, I would have given up a long time ago. My suggestion is, if you are tall, curvy and can afford better, look elsewhere.
wow do they run small I have tried the rockstart jeans on several times both in store and from online purchases, trying to find a pair that worked for me since they come in so many colors and patterns but I have finally given up. They consistently are either too thin, too low, too tight and always too short. I am normally a 4 tall but I couldn't even get them past my thighs. I tried the 6 tall and could get them up but there was no way they were going to button and were a good 4 inches too short. I sucked it up and tried on the 8 tall hoping they would at least close but while they would zip up, the rise was so low you could see my butt and they while a little bit longer than the sixes, they were still too short! A tall size jean should have at least a 34 inch inseam! I don't know who these were designed for but what woman wants to have to buy jeans at least 2 sizes bigger and still not have them fit?!
Very annoyed, wrong size shipped I ordered a 12 Tall and drove all the way across the border (after waiting in a 45 minute border lineup) to Washington State to pick them up because you won't stock Tall on your Canadian site. And you shipped me Long instead of Tall, so of course they don't fit. Not impressed. This is the very last straw and I am not ordering from you anymore. American Eagle ships their tall jeans to Canada. Old Navy and Gap are not worth the hassel anymore.
