tall womens slim flare jeans - reviews

Just as good as you''ve heardWith prices for premium ... hovering around $200, what's a mom on a budget to do? Look for something with great reviews, great fit and a low price, that's what. I am 6' and need a ... length, so that limits me even more. Luckily, ON has the jean I was looking for! I read that you should order a size down...so I got an 8 ... seriously, I could have even worn a 6 ... if it weren't for my thicker calves. Like everyone says, these tend to stretch out an hour after wear, but they still look great. I also purchased the Dreamer bootcut, which also has a higher waist and rise (thank God, no more muffin tops!) Let's make that low waisted pant thing go away for good, please!

Ohh so comfortable but stylishI'm 6 foot ... full figuered and these ... long and fit great. They make my legs look long and lean and my hip and thighs look slim (which are not slim). They do run a little big because of the spandex, but just go down a size, anyway that is what makes them so comfortable. I wear them tucked into ... boots. For you ... girls out there, there is about an inch differance between the ... size and the LONG size (the long is shorter).

nice fitting skinny ... not so-skinny ... Needed some skinny (slim leg) ... fit into ... leather boots and love these ... They are not too tight in the waist, hips and thighs and yet taper enough to fit into ... boots. Also, they are not low rise, so they are perfect for an older, more womanly figure. Thanks for making these affordable ... size.

Love these ... Finally a pair of ... girl with curves! These ... fit really well. They allow enough room for your derriere and still have a slim fit through the legs and thighs. If your a slim girl but have an ample rear end, these ...

Skinny ... Talls.... Purchased these in the rinse. Finally found a pair of skinny ... can actually wear! The ... size provides the length I need (long is too short). Had to order these on line as the store doesn't carry the ... size. My typical inseam size is 35".

LOVE THEM - didn''t think I would, but I do!When I described these ... friend, they sound horrible. I m 5-11 and I bought the size 14 ... (had to return for smaller size). These ... sit at my waist, are cut large, are very stretchy (one day of wear), and are surprisingly too long in Rinse color. So, they are Mom ... Skinny Leg -- BUT I LOVE THEM! Size down at least one size, and you get a muffin free, slim jean with a long long leg --- great for heels or tucking in boots. I got them for a 30% off promo, so I don't mind the one day of wear, I'm buying more!

I ventured and tried the Skinny Jean and LOVE THEM!These are a great pair of ... Love them. I have never owned skinny ... before and wanted to try them, so here I am. I got a 14L and they fit like a dream. The length is perfect and the waist too. The silhouette is great, it really does make you feel and look slimmer. How slimmer legged ... do that I don't know, but I love it. I was an avide wide leg, flared, or bootcut jean wearer, still am, but this skinny jean is a perfect fit with those too. I love wearing them with my ... wedge sandals and a fitted black tank, super sexy and fun. They are great paired with ... boots or cute ballet flats too!

nice basic slim jean runs largeThese are a nice slim jean. They have a good proportion between the thigh and calf slim calf, but pretty straight from calf to ankle, rather than tapered. They do run short and large, though. I ordered them in size 8 ... 10 regular. I am 5 ft 8, 145 lbs, my hips measure 41 inches around and I like a 32 inch inseam. Using the size chart, I should have ordered the size 12 regular, but this is old navy so I knew the pants would be short, and this whole family of companies runs large, so I ordered down in size. I didn't go low enough, though. Even the size 8 is loose on me. If they weren't out of stock, I would have tried the 6 ... my 41 inch hips, and I bet they would have fit. I kept the 8- they look okay, just kind of loose, and not really like a skinny jean because of it. The actual inseam measurements were 30 inches for the regular (size 10) and 36 inches for the ... (size 8). If you're looking for a long inseam, the Talls are substantially longer than the inseam on Longs.

Pleasantly surprisedI am 44 years old and 6 feet ... have never worn skinny ... before because it is very hard to find 36 inch inseams. I am moving to Europe and the ... talked to said that skinny ... boots are it. So, I went out on a limb to try some, knowing they would be too short in the waist and in length. I ordered a 16 ... since I do have a belly, but they were way too big, BUT the ... length was PERFECT! I reordered a 14 ... fits much better, but is still loose after wearing it for about 30 minutes. I am going to order a 12 just to see what happens. I am expecting the hip area to be too tight, since I know I am not that small! I do wear the 14 talls all the time and love them with the boots I also got for my move. I just need longer shirts now!

Not as good as the bootcut versionFor some reason, the Skinny version of the Sweetheart is a little lower riding and a little "gappier" in the back than the bootcut version. And they're really long--I know these are Talls, but they were quite a bit longer than the 36" inseam I was expecting--nearly 37.5. (Maybe this is an oddity--my other ... Sweetheart ... & trousers are all 35.5 or 36.) Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but hemming ... isn't as easy as hemming trousers. If I roll them up, they work okay, but there's just a little too much fabric for the "puddle" effect to be cute. I'm 6' ... so if you're my height or shorter, you may want to go with the Long. Or make friends with a tailor.

Wish waist would fit better and higher but legs and rear are fantasticI am not a fan of low rise or mid rise ... Plain and simple, I have nice shapely hips and butt AND a nice slim waist. I would strongly prefer to accentuate that I HAVE a slim waist with a jean that comes in appreciably AT my waist to show that. Instead the lower rise ... waistband hit me square across the wide hips and thus the top line accentuates how w i d e my hips are. And in the process allow for the lovely muffin top look after I eat. I am not 'fashion forward' and so seek out the 'natural waist' or 'regular rise' or' higher mid rise' whatever semantics I am forced to go by. But I also don't want a waist higher than my belly button. An inch below would be good. These ... 8 ... me 130 lbs 5'10" sit just shy of 2" below my belly button. I was glad to read the review about longs and talls. I don't exactly need the ... length but got both long and ... try and went with the talls because the rise is a bit higher and back fit a tiny bit better. Longs were a bit more than 2" below my bb. From descriptions of these ... I'd thought they'd fit somewhat higher than that and also thought they'd appropriately fit my curves. They do not. Yes, they curve out to fit my rear and hips very nicely. But then they go up straighter in the back that you would expect, causing the major gapping and lovely 'my pants feel like they're falling down' feeling as you bend over. I have a shapely butt but I do not have a fat back. I can't quite imaging the figure that would fill out the back waist of these ... Tried washing them, no shrinkage. which is good because the legs are tight and loosen a bit with wear, but not baggy saggy. Just wish the waist would shrink in a few inches. Plan to wear a belt and never tuck in your shirt unless you wear another layer to cover that back gap and muffin top front. All that said, I kept these ... because I couldn't ask for a more flattering fit in legs. thighs, and rear. I hate how wide 'straight leg' ... have become and I hate boot cut or flared--again because I have shapely legs I want to show off and I can even get these ... over a boot top, so fail to understand why boot cut or straight leg ... so darn wide legs. So I am trying for my first time 'skinny' fit. I am happy with that. But if the fabric weren't as stretchy as it is they'd've been too tight. The 'give' in the fabric seems just right for thighs, knees, and crotch. Also, I live in cold weather climate and of course freeze to death in these ... any other 'fashion forward' paper thin ... fabric. Just wish some day real denim weights would make a comeback...

Graet ... I was very excited when I tried these ... Perfect!!! I am 6 feet tall and sometimes ... aren't long enough. These are a most have!!

Another Perfect Sweetheart!I love these ... have a few pair. If you're one that can't buy in person, like me with my 34" inseam, just know that the Sweetheart runs about a full size big. I order one size down from what my normal is. For example, in "normal" ... I'd wear an 8 or 10, but these I wear a 6 or 8. I have both sizes. There is some stretch, but they hold a good shape. My husband loves the rear view in these ... buy the tall online, I can actually throw them in the dryer without fear of high waters, which is a relief! My only complaint is that I HAVE to buy them online because they don't carry the tall in stores. It's disappointing, to say the least, that when there is an in store promo, it's not the same online. I hate that I have to pay shipping, but the long just isn't long enough.

Too long for me unless I cuff but okI did not know that Old Navy sold Tall jeans @ 36" long [which I just got online] and Long which are only 34 " long [which I got in the store]. I am 5' 9 1/2" tall and the 36" long [Tall] I have to cuff 2 inches. I like the washed out look. Have a hard time getting Sweatheart jeans in size 10Long online in either color. I thought the Talls were the same length as the Longs, but even so they only had 1 pair of these [10Tall].

Finally, inexpensive ... long enough! In the past I have worn "Long" ... store that are borderline short for the first few wears but creep shorter and shorter with every wash until they're highwaters (I am a very leggy 5'9"). I was skeptical that "Tall" would be any different but I am pleased overall. The material of these vs. the same style/color in the store is thinner and stretchier but not unpleasant and it seems durable. I have had these for 4 washes so far and the length has not changed. The only thing I do not like about these ... "Tall" also comes with a longer rise. The top of the waistband sits about 1" below my bellybutton and is higher in the back. At first I thought it was uncomfortable and "mom jean" but the more I wear them the more I appreciate how it helps smooth and flatten the waist area. The bottom line for me is that these are well made, comfortable, and actually long enough while remaining inexpensive.

Tried and true great basic ... tall gal I bought these ... my 6'1"/140 lbs teenage daughter. She has a slender frame, but plays a lot of soccer - giving her more developed thighs, I guess. She prefers these ... above all others we have tried from any source. She's moved up from the size 2 to the 4, but doesn't like them snug at all. Easy in the thigh, but not baggy. We love the rise, they cover the backside without being mom ... Thanks to Old Navy for making tall ... would be cool if they had them in the stores too, [...]. We recommend to our tall friends that you order a few different styles/sizes, [...] and then run down to your local ON to return the ones you don't like.

Good fit in ... Tiny pockets. I got these on the recommendation of a store employee because I was having a hard time finding a high enough rise. I'm 6 ft. ... though the long length ... store were tolerable lengthwise, the rise was way too short. She put me onto ordering talls online (I didn't know they had them available!) so that the overall fit would be better and she was really right! The rise is definitely more proportionate in ... waist is a little loose on me, but it's nothing a belt can't fix easily. My only complaint is that the pockets are so tiny that anything more than a shopping list and tube of lipstick would be overloading them. I do wish the pockets were a little deeper so anything larger (like a small wallet) wouldn't be in danger of falling out.

way too longFinish, fit, and styling on the ... great but the length is way too long. I'm 5"10 and have the same type of ... long - they are long with extra wiggle room if you want to wear them with heels.Perfect. The "tall" on my new Sweetheart ... more than necessary for anyone 6"2 and under. You might want to consider producing a "medium tall" somewhere in the middle.

1 right 2 wrongI order a pair of Sweetheat Boot Cut Jeans in the medium wash because that was the only 14 tall available. They fit great and the 36" length fit me perfect as I am 6' tall. I ordered 2 more pair in the dark wash and when they arrived they were both marked tall but one was only 32" inseam and the other 34" meaning both had to be returned. Currently there are none available online to be reordered. I love the jeans and want more. Please get them restocked soon.
Wayyyy too longI had to return these jeans. I am 5' 10" tall with a 34" inseam. Finding pants long enough for me has always been a problem. I was excited when a freind told me Old Navy has Tall size womens jeans. But very disappointed to find only 2 styles to choose from in Talls. I ordered both because as I said it's difficult to find any at all long enough. But this pair was ridiculously long. They were 12 inches longer than my inseam and measured 46 inches. I've never seen ... pants that long before in my life! Other than the length the jeans were average quality.
Did not receive right orderOrdered 2 pairs of TALL sweetheart jeans. Received 1 pair of petite jeans and 1 pair of regular jeans. Both had the tall tag on the outside of the pants but the inside label said petite and regular. So , have go back to store to return them, loose out on the internet special price deal and the store has no Tall jeans in my size. What a pain.
Like Jeggings! These are insane! They are like jeggings - not JEANS! How can you call them jeans?! I purchased one pair 18 Long under the regular column and another pair 20 under the tall column. I ordered them this way because the wash/finish wasn't available in the 18 tall. I was literally swimming in the 20 and the 18 was far too loose as well. The darkest wash pair was super thin and definitely felt more like jeggings than denim jeans! The other next step down dark finish was a bit more textured and denim feeling, but it too had a lot of stretch to it. I plan to return these to the store this weekend! So disappointed - I had a pair of Sweetheart ... here that I bought in 2005 and they were great....but this is a HUGE step down! I'm amazed they can even call them ... Shame on you Old Navy for the garbage you're trying to pass off as ...
