maternity work wear - reviews

Very nice pants
I love these pants. I wear them to work all the time. I can wear a size 12 in these which is same size I wore before pregnancy however I'm sure ... size is a bit different. The only downfall to Old Navy's ... Full Panel pants is that the panel cuts right above my belly button. All my other ... pants from [...] have a panel that come all the way up to my bra and that is much more comfortable than Old Navy's panel. Not as stretchy of material either. Also note, I don't have a very long torso either...I actually have a short torso.

Decent, comfortable pants for the office
I needed some ... pants that I could wear to work, but I didn't want to spend to much. I took a chance on these, mostly because they came in "short" size, and I am very pleased with them. They are comfortable and good for the price. They are a little loose in the lower belly/crotch area, but most of my ... shirts are long enough to cover that. For the price, I think these pants are a great addition to a ... wardrobe for a ... mom to-be!

Good Fit
I ordered the 4Long which is what I would have ordered pre pregnancy. They fit good. The knees are a little skinnier than the rest of the leg but not bad. I have long legs and the length is perfect. I'm still not used to the belly part of ... pants so I just roll down the top. They are a little baggy on the belly/waist part but I have the same experience with all other ... pants that I've worn. I wear my pants to work and they are very comfortable. Overall it is a good pair of pants and I like them better than other ... brands.

Maybe in a couple of months
I've been hunting for decent ... pants to wear to work that 1) don't cost a fortune, 2) are made of decent material instead of the icky synthetics that so many ... clothes seem to be made of, and 3) have a panel that doesn't bunch up or slide down awkwardly when I sit or bend. These *might* be the answer, but not for a while yet. The panel is HUGE. The rest of the pants seem like they're fine, but until my belly fills out more these look like clown pants. Maybe if I try ... them with colorful suspenders and big floppy shoes??? Seriously though, there's no way I can wear them yet, but maybe by the time I hit my third trimester I'll be glad for all that extra fabric.

Maybe for later in pregnancy?
I own at least 12 pairs of "Perfect Khakis" in various colors that I wear daily to work and love them. I was excited to see that they had a ... version of them and ordered my normal size. When I tried them on they "belly" is huge! The "pant" part right below the panel is baggy and looks akward and huge. I'm only 21 weeks and just starting to wear ... pants, so I'm hopeing that they will work as my belly grows.

Okay Pants
I hate that my local ON store does not carry much ... merchandise, as I prefer to try things on. I ordered these pants for work (business casual office). When I tried them on I found that the panel comes down a little lower in the front and is a little baggier than I hoped. But hopefully as my belly grows they will fit better there. I went ahead and washed and dried them hoping they would shrink a little. Which they did, but now I feel the length is a little too short. I debated buying the long (I'm 5'10") if I were ordering again I would definitely opt for long. These will work, but overall I prefer the pants I purchased at the ... store to these.

not too impressed
i am 5 months and i got these pants only for work. Now my problem with pants is that they are usually too short. (i am 5'11). I have only tried on these pants i have yet to wear them because they are too big and loose around the belly. I am hoping in the next 3 months i will grow into them. but unfortantly i am unable to wear them at this time. In comparison to other full panel ... pants from motherhood they fit great around the belly and are long i have been ... them over a month now. I am definitely holding off from buying more old navy ... pants.

Fits a size small
Went to a local Old Navy to try on various ... pants and jeans. I was pre pregnancy 115lb and 5'6" so very slender. I'm five months along. Almost all the pants I tried on, ... size 2 fit. This includes the low rise jeans and cords. However, these were SO snug, I would never wear them to work. Definitely needed to size up to 4. The cotton fabric is relatively stiff and thick, not very soft, but maybe it just needs washing? I didn't buy them.

Fits Strange
I bought these for work. I absolutely hate the way they fit. Since they are full panel ... pants, I though the panel would cover most of my belly (I'm 5'8, 135 lbs, 23 weeks so its not huge, but it is definitely round) but it comes just up to my belly button and is pretty uncomfortable so I wear them folded down under my belly. I ordered the long, which usually leaves me a little extra at the bottom for taller shoes, but these are JUST long enough. Also, the crotch fits really weird, its sort of poofy under the panel, idk, maybe that is how its supposed to be, but I can't imagine it getting any better as my belly grows. I washed them to see if they'd fit better, otherwise I'd return them for Gap ... pants, which fit me perfectly.

So disappointed
I too bought these pants thinking that the reviews about the crazy panel couldn't possibly be that bad. Since I'm tall, I figured a little extra room in the crotch would be a good thing. But, the panel area in these pants is just so improperly made. The panel itself is comfortable and well sized. But, the fabric below the panel is baggy and sticks out away from the body. I tried layering a snug fitting tank top and a belly band over the pants to try to eliminate the baggy fabric under the panel and it would work in a pinch with a longer ... shirt, but it just doesn't look right with any normal fitting ... shirt. I really like Old Navy's ... wear in general and I really wanted to like these pants (they're soft, long enough, good color), but the panel problem is a deal breaker.
