Just right
I ordered four pairs of ... work, two of which were Women's Essential Wide Leg Trousers. I ordered a 2 in each pair. I liked every pair, but I loved the wide leg trousers. They fit perfect and were true to size. They were just what I wanted.

way better than expected
I seriously bought these ... purely because they were on sale for cheap and I just desperately needed ... any ... work. Instead, they have turned into my favorite all around ... pretty much everything. They're slightly high waisted, which is good for those of us who don't have perfect abs (read: pretty much everyone), and the petite length is PERFECT even for me (I'm 5 feet tall and like my ... bit on the long side). They're a bit loose in the waist, but that doesn't bother me; I'm extremely curvy and have this problem with pretty much everything except, like, tights. The bonus of the slightly longer rise is that it fits under tops very well, so you don't get that dreaded "flash your underpants at everyone" gap that can happen when ... too loose in the waist. The wide waistband is a huge bonus because it actually fits a real belt (I usually wear men's belts for whatever reason, and for a lot of women's ... beltloops are too narrow to fit). I was concerned about the material at first because it seemed a bit scratchy, but after washing them once or twice, they feel perfectly comfortable and the weight of the fabric lets them drape really well, so I actually appreciate it, and the material doesn't seem to pill at ALL, which is awesome.

Love Them
I was very skeptical when I ordered these ... because the reviews seemed to be all over the place. They are great! I've paid much more for other work ... don't look as good. I'm a petite and so happy that ON offers their styles in petites. The fit is perfect and the material drapes nicely. The flap pockets in the back give the pant a more updated look and are very flattering. You really can't find better for the price. Highly recommend!

Perfect petite fit! Kept these in size 0, but kept the Women's The Flirt Perfect Khakis in size 2, which I also love!

versatile ... great service
Old Navy ... staple in my closet as they are generally sized better for my frame than any of the other major merchandisers AND they wash very well without the need for dry cleaning. These ... nice weight, and the fit is in line with other ON ... although these might be slightly tighter in the waist than others. In the petite size, the dimensions are well proportioned, and the width of the leg on the lower half of the pant is loose but not exaggerated. As with many ON ... flap pocket can be easily tucked into the open part of the pocket so that you can wear the ... flap pocket or a flat pocket--the weight of the pant makes this possible as long as the ... have not been purchased to fit too snugly. I happen to like this feature as the flap pocket can be more flattering to those of us who are less endowed in the rear, but, with certain tops, it certainly is nicer to tuck in the flap and have a flatter silhouette. The customer service assistance with this purchase was excellent--I was pleasantly surprised to receive better service than some of the high end retailers I've purchased from in the past.

Good work ... great price
Pleasantly surprised with these ... Love the wide waistband and the drape of the fabric. Love the pockets on the side as most women's work ... do not have. Major plus in my book. Length a bit inconsistently. 3 pairs ordered hit exaclty right and 1 pair was a bit too long. Good work ... great price!

Not the same...
These ... definitely aren't the same as the previous style. I stock up on these every year or so, and kept hoping ON would release something similar to the older style. That didn't happen, so I gave these a try. The ... aren't awful, but the cut in the hips and through the thighs is very different. I prefer a straight cut as that is a better match for my figure, but these have those awful 'wings' of extra fabric on either side. The side pockets are different, too. I used to be able to keep my cell phones in the pockets without an issue, but now with these ... looks completely awkward and bulgy to keep my phones in the pockets, and adds a ton of width (and the illusion of weight!) to my hips. I bought the petite size, since ON no longer offers a short option, as I have learned that their ... run long. The petite size is perfect with heels, but a bit long for flats (I am 5' 7"). The rear is way too loose for me -- again, a straighter cut is more flattering because that can accommodate a wider variety of figures. These ... wearable, but not the greatest version of the ON basic work pant.

Comfortable work pant
I will agree that they do seem snug in the waist, but i was still able to wear the same size i always wore in the past. The ... comfortable for work. The only problem i had was that when i received them, the right leg was sewn into the rear seam (made it look like the ... were tucked into my underwear), but luckily i know how to use a seam ripper ... I was able to fix that problem.

I was disappointed with the legs of these ... They were very long which is usually not my problem being 5'10". The problem I had was with the width of the legs. You could fit 3 of my legs in one pant leg. My small frame looked like it was being taken over by the ... Quality of the ... looked great but I took them back.

bad sizing!
love these ... but the sizing is bad. I had the old pair in 4p- which fit perfectly. I ordered the 6p in this size (since i read the reviews saying they ran smaller) and they still did not fit. All of my old navy ... 4p but the 6p was not even close to fitting! strange. But I love the pant so much I returned them for 8p.

Good work ... but sizing not consistent
I already have a pair of these ... ordered another pair because I got a stain on the old pair. I ordered a size up because the ... have at home were getting a little snug. The size I received was smaller and tighter than the ... already own. They were the same pant and the same color!! I just wish Old Navy would stay consistent with their sizing. I am constantly taking things back that I ordered online because their sizing is not consistent.

Very flattering w/ boots and sweater
I bought these pants from a referral. My sis in law and friend love them. I bought a pair of knee high boots and wanted to wear sweaters/tunic with them but I couldn't get the right look with jeans. They kept telling me to get these legging and I finally did. They look great with my boots and flatter my figure. I'm 5"5 and carry most of my weight below.... lol These pants slim my thighs and minimize my butt. another A+ vote for me!!

Very versatile!
I love these pants! I wear them with dresses that may be a little shorter and I love to wear them with longer button up shirts! I ordered these pants with the western button up tunic in blue plaid and love wearing them together!

I generally have a hard time finding pants / slacks / jeans / leggings that are long enough for me. The length was perfect for me. The leggings are very comfortable and do not bind or cut off my circulation, nor do they bag out. These are a fantastic deal, and can be worn either alone with a long tunic sweater, or worn underneath slacks as thermal insulation wear.

Great Value Leggings
I've purchased several pairs of these leggings in black over many sales. I am so happy with these leggings, but mostly because the price and fit are so great. I hate spending more than ten bucks on leggings since they do get worn out after every season. Some other reviewers complained that these leggings are see through in the hips and rear. Well, when I want to wear leggings I go by the mantra: leggings are not pants. With these leggings you really need to wear a tunic or dress to cover your rear. Other than that,these are perfect for the price. And remember, Leggings Are Not Pants!

great grape pants
very comfortable pants i love old navy strech pants i have the zipper on the side leg i first bought them in a x large they were a little too big in the waist area and loose in the caboose and i ended up buying another pair in large and they fit just perfect now

Basic leggings
I didn't own a single pair of leggings and after having an event over the winter I needed to wear a dress, my freezing legs demanded some sort of coverage. I'm a 18 or 20 depending on how I want the pant to fit in ON ... xxl leggings are too loose, the xl fits just perfectly. I also have short legs so be aware if you have short legs these leggings WILL be too long but nothing that a needle and thread can't fix! Alternatively you could just pulll them up so the fabric does any bunching at your thighs.

A bit disappointing
I expected these to be a bit thicker. They're definitely not as thin as a pair of tights, but I thought that they would have a bit more material and warmth to them. They will be fine under skirts and dresses, although I don't think I'll be adding them under pants with the intent to keep me warm outside. My main complaint is that they are SHORT. I'm only 5'6'', and in the size xl these hit almost an inch above my ankle. All my other ON pants are long, so this was definitely not what I expected, and will make it harder for the leggings to stay tucked inside my boots. They're OK for the money, but I was really expecting just a bit more.

Returned leggings - TOO short!
I thought I ordered full length leggings, but when I tried them on, they were several inches too short, so I figured they were capris. I went to exchange them at my local store, but the full length ones that they held up were the exact same pants, so they are just TOO short and I am only 5' 7". Otherwise, they seemed like nice pants, soft and a good weight and I would have kept them if they had been long enough.
