womens sweaters sale - reviews
good for work I like these shirts for work I own 3 in black. I'm not sure the fuss about the sizing.. they're pretty true to size, judging by the size chart. The top button I suppose is a little low, but a tank top in the same color solves the problem (I always wear tanks under my shirts, but I wouldn't need to with this shirt--I have a smaller chest though). Only thing is that the sleeves were fine at first, but they seem to shrink, it is weird because the overall shirt doesn't, but the sleeves do. Oh well. I recommend waiting til they go on sale or you have a promo code to buy (they're nice, but the regular price seems a bit high..).
I really like this shirt. I plan to wear it under my sweaters this fall/winter. I am 5' 9" and 155 pounds, and the large tall fits great. It's long enough to tuck in if needed. It's a very soft material.
Listen to the reviews and size up Originally I bought this in an XL tall. I typically wear a l/xl in ON. Too small! I'm a 38 C and a size 16 and although I could button it, I could barely breathe. I even took out the darts in the back. No good. I loved the look of the shirt though so I exchanged it for an XXL Tall and it's great. I bought the pink, white and black and they're all great colors and I'll wear them often. So definitely order up! I'll commend ON on one thing though: I called customer service and told them I'm exchanging the shirts for the same shirts just a size up on Saturday morning and I received my new shipment on Wednesday night (they shipped express). Bravo, ON, for doing that. I just have to return my old shirts to an ON store and I got the same sale price that I bought them for (30%) without any hassle at all. These are great shirts, once you get the size correct.
Adequate This is a passable work shirt, but I only feel like it's worth the money when it's on sale. Old Navy, PLEASE FIX THE BUTTONS!!! It's so odd that there is so much space between the button at the collar, and the next one down. I can work around it with scarves and camis, but I'd prefer to have the option to wear this one more buttoned up, or buttoned up all the way so I can wear it with a bowtie. When the shirt is buttoned all the way up as it is now, the space between the top two buttons gaps open. Also, I am 5'9" and ordered this in XS Tall, and I find that the sleeves are about an inch too short. On the plus side, this shirt comes out of the dryer looking pretty good. It looks best when ironed, but I hate to iron and you can get away with wearing this shirt straight out of the dryer. It's pretty wrinkled by the end of the day, though. My requests to Old Navy: Please fix the spacing on the buttons, make the sleeves longer, and make more colors for talls! Thank you!
Stretch poplin dress shirt I ordered several of these shirts in different colors to wear to work under sweaters and jackets. I was disappointed in them, because they are incredibly small---I orderd size XL (even though I usually wear size L), and the shirts didn't even meet in the front. I don't like to order XXL or plus size shirts because the shoulders are always too large, but even with the stretch, these would not work. Since I wanted these for work, it did not make sense to need to wear a cami under them with buttons unbuttoned down the front! I do not like shirts that gap at the buttons in the front, but Old Navy shirts never seem to be large enough in the bust. Real ... curves should make a choice at another company.
