womens sweaters sale - reviews
I really like this shirt. I plan to wear it under my sweaters this fall/winter. I am 5' 9" and 155 pounds, and the large tall fits great. It's long enough to tuck in if needed. It's a very soft material.
everyone must have one THis is a great piece to add to your wardrobe. It goes with last year's sweaters as well as this past summer's camisoles. It helps me change up my clothes in the closet to come up with new outfits.
Nice basic dress shirts I ordered this shirt in the blue and grey, in a S Tall. A note about the colors - the blue is rich and beautiful and the grey is a nice neutral. From the website pics the buttons looked a bit funny for they grey, but in person they're a nice pearly grey/black that "goes" well with the fabric. I'm so happy with the sleeve length (since I ordered the Tall) - finally a dress shirt that comes to my wrists and doesn't cost a fortune! The only downside is that they are a little tight at the bottom where they hit my hips. They fit perfectly in the bust and waist, so I think it's more a body type issue - they'd fit someone with a straight figure very well. It's not so bad and they were on sale, so I am keeping them for sure.
Good Purchase I am tall and my arms are extremely long, needless to say, it has been hard to purchase long sleeve tops and or sweaters without trying them on first. This purchase was a very good one, my sleeves to all of my sweaters and shirts have been long and comfortable. I will continue to order from Old Navy as long as the quality of the clothing remain the same.
Good fit, launders well, color is same as shown in photo I read some reviews that these shirts were too snug fitting, but took a chance, given the amazing price especially when on special sale. As a 5'5" tall, 120 lb., 34A size woman, it fits absolutely perfectly and is flattering. Hope that helps you!
Finally, decent, affordable tall girl clothes! This shirt fits great! I'm 5'11", 160lbs, kind of between a Medium and a Large--got the Large Tall. It's a little roomy, but a medium probably would have been too small. It's a great tall fit--sleeves and length would do for someone over 6'. The quality isn't amazing, but it's fine for the price--especially if you can get it on sale and are layering it under a jacket. I'll buy every color in this shirt before I buy another button down dress shirt from Gap. I didn't think it was excessively wrinkley--it's just the nature of the beast; you have to iron dress shirts every time you wear them.
great shirt! I have been looking for a basic, button down collared work shirt and I love this shirt! I am a 42DDD (and size 16) and so it is hard to find a shirt that fits loosely enough across the chest w/out making me look pregnant in the waist. the XXL was perfect. And the shirt is long enough still to cover our lower "lady bump", for those w/that stubborn abdomen weight. The sleeves are long, but I like that.. It's usually hard to find shirts that don't run up the wrist. I just wish that old navy would make this shirt in more colors like they do w/the sweaters, and also possibly some w/some vertical stripes. I would buy them in every color!!
Okay. This shirt is good- not perfect. Which is okay... since it's from Old Navy I wasn't expecting "perfect". The fit is acceptable... with the exception of the sleeves which are too short. My biggest "annoyance" is that the fabric is very low quality and itchy. I'm hoping that after a few more dry cleans it will soften up. Overall, it serves the purpose I bought it for.... which was an inexpensive blouse to wear under sweaters and jackets, but I would never wear it on it's own.
Adequate This is a passable work shirt, but I only feel like it's worth the money when it's on sale. Old Navy, PLEASE FIX THE BUTTONS!!! It's so odd that there is so much space between the button at the collar, and the next one down. I can work around it with scarves and camis, but I'd prefer to have the option to wear this one more buttoned up, or buttoned up all the way so I can wear it with a bowtie. When the shirt is buttoned all the way up as it is now, the space between the top two buttons gaps open. Also, I am 5'9" and ordered this in XS Tall, and I find that the sleeves are about an inch too short. On the plus side, this shirt comes out of the dryer looking pretty good. It looks best when ironed, but I hate to iron and you can get away with wearing this shirt straight out of the dryer. It's pretty wrinkled by the end of the day, though. My requests to Old Navy: Please fix the spacing on the buttons, make the sleeves longer, and make more colors for talls! Thank you!
Small too small, Medium too large I initially ordered the shirt in a small size and it was too small. I liked the look of the shirt, even though I agree with another reviewer who felt the buttons starting below the chest is too risqué for many places of employment, but I had planned on wearing it under sweaters. I returned the small and ordered the medium. The medium was much too large except in the sleeves, which were normal length. I am returning it and will probably stay away from buying anything from Old Navy online in the future. Because the sizing is so off, you really need to try everything on in the store.
Stretch poplin dress shirt I ordered several of these shirts in different colors to wear to work under sweaters and jackets. I was disappointed in them, because they are incredibly small---I orderd size XL (even though I usually wear size L), and the shirts didn't even meet in the front. I don't like to order XXL or plus size shirts because the shoulders are always too large, but even with the stretch, these would not work. Since I wanted these for work, it did not make sense to need to wear a cami under them with buttons unbuttoned down the front! I do not like shirts that gap at the buttons in the front, but Old Navy shirts never seem to be large enough in the bust. Real ... curves should make a choice at another company.
