PERFECT IS RIGHT!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE anything Perfect Khaki! I am 6ft and wear a 10 ... these fit perfect!! Love the pants, the capris, and the shorts, never have to worry about size bc I know they will fit! Love the color selection, great quality and a staple in my closet!! Hope these stay around for a while!!
Fit great !
While the last review says the 12 tall were too tight, I also bought 12 ... they fit great ~ and considering I currently couldnt get into anything in a size 12 right now at the mall because they were too tight ~ I would say these run a little big ! Length is slightly longer than expected (5'10" and I am a little long waisted) but they do shrink a little so what is currently dragging on the floor wont after a few washes.
PERFECT Khakis
I love these pants!! I purchased one pair in Barnswallow color and love the fit and I was surprised how comfortable they were. So I had to get more. I then purchased 3 more and they all seem to fit the same. I am 5' 7 1/2" and 155 lbs., and I do have some curves. Bought size 12 Tall, which I normally wear between a 10 & 12l. The regular is just a little too short for me and the tall is a "little" long, but I do not like highwaters!! I just wear them with clogs and they don't touch the ground. I would definatley recommend to everyone. I agree, the "Perfect" khakis, at least for me. Wear them work. I am in jeans otherwise : )
Love the long length of these pants!
I am 6 feet tall and typically wear a 34" inseam with my pants. I initially ordered the "long" length which are said to be 34" in length, however, they seemed too short with any type of shoe. I ordered the tall 36" inseam instead and am very happy with them! The length is great and remained the same even after washing them. I do not put my pants in the dryer, howerver. The rise is great, too. Sometimes whenI purchase tall pants they end up with a super high waist to them but not these. Highly recommend for any tall chics with tall legs! Great casual pants for work or otherwise.
Too low rise. Get a size larger!
I'm a pre school teacher and can't wear jeans to work and dress pants are often too thin for the amount of movement I do with my kids, so I bought two pairs of these. I love the fabric and colors, but they were way too low rise! Because they sit so low, my normal ON size of 14 fit me way smaller and I could hardly button them. I also ordered them in ... because I'm about 6' but was surprised that (for the first time in my life) a pair of pants was too long! I now know to order my ON pants in Long, but I appreciate the fact that ON does make pants for ... even taller then me! I will be exchanging these pants for a size larger to compensate for the lowness of the rise and make sure they are Long and not Talls. Always happy with my ON purchases in the end, so I'm willing to go through a couple returns and exchanges every so often. I know these pants will be worth the hassle!
Different
I fell in love with The Womens Perfect Khakis last year. I order 7 colors last year. However I order the poison ivy and earl gray this year and they seem to fit a bit smaller. I love the color so I will keep them. But they seem as though the cut is smaller than the other ones I bought last year. Either way I still Love ON pants.
Watch sizing
I have three pair of these pants and like them very much; however, I received a fourth pair marked wrong in the length on two different occasions. The order said tall, the label said tall but the barnswallow were only reg. length. Customer service was great and no shipping was charged either time, but the extra time in returning them was a bother. They are no longer available in tall length.
Not true to size
Like many other womens' clothing stores/departments, Old Navy seems to be oversizing. I think companies do this to make us feel better about our weight but it's really not helpful especially when ordering clothing online. I had to return the pants I ordered & reorder a zero petite (no way am I a true zero petite).
Sits very low on waist
I wear a size 12 long in all of my pants and jeans and I believe that these are true to size. I like the fit of these except that they sit VERY low on the hip. Maybe it's because I'm tall, but not quite tall enough to order the tall size. I'm was debating whether or not to return them, but just saw the perfect khaki in The Flirt and Sweetheart styles and am going to try those instead. My favorite jeans are The Flirt, so I have high hopes!
Okay
These pants are okay. I ordered ... because I am 5'9" and usually wear talls. These were WAY too long. I will be returning them. Also, the pockets seem to make me look a bit "hippy"- they just bulge out a little. Still may get another pair if the regular length is long enough.
Beware of Shrinking!
Buyer beware...! These khakis are wonderful, however, they shrink nearly a full size when washed and dried (per the washing instructions). I am 6'0 and usually wear a size 12. I bought a 12 Tall and the fit was PERFECT until I washed it. The pants shrank so much I couldn't button them!! I re ordered in a 14 Tall and after washing and drying, they fit like the 12 Tall did before I washed it. The pants are very flattering and a great find, but beware of washing!

Could be great ..BUT
Ordered a size 6. They were way too big. I was afraid to order a 4. Why can't womens sizes be consistent. It is extremely frustrating.
Too big and too high waisted
These pants look great online which is deceiving. They are extremely high waisted and in a ... were significantly longer than the inseam stated. I bought the black and the grey...although the colors were great the sizing discrepancy between the two pants although ordered in the exact same size was surprising. The black was very loose in the hips and rear, big at the waist and REALLY long. The grey were tight through the hips and rear, a decent length but even bigger in the waist than the black pair. Some size consistency would be nice. Additionally, it would be nice to have longs and talls in store so that we can try them on prior to purchasing.
Could be better
I have purchased Gap pants for years, and expected with this being the same company that their pants would be pretty similar. However it seems that not only is the length shorter than the ... pants from Gap, but the fit around the hips and gut area is much higher than I felt is needed, and much baggier, giving me the indication that Old Navy expects ... wear long jeans to have a larger gut. I tried on the regulars- as I was sent regular's originally. Not Old Navy's fault. The hip and waist area sit lower and more accurately, however in the talls it seems much higher and more of a waste of fabric than should be. I honestly don't plan on ever buying another pair of pants from old navy, as the cost of these pants full price are only a few dollars cheaper than I can buy when Gap has their sales. I'd much rather stick with the product that is made better.
