my favorite pair of work pantslove everything about these pants except for the back pocket flaps. took the pants to a tailor and had them removed. these are my go to work pants. and just fyi, the "tall" length is much longer than it used to be. finally a pair of pants that us tall girls can wear with heels!
Finally Tall ... right length! Looked everywhere to find the right size Tall trousers and when I saw that Old Navy was on that list, I decided to look into it. And low and behold! Tall ... right length. I was so happy! Now I'll know where to get my casual ware as well as some for special occasions. Thanks Old Navy!
The Best ... Ever The material is super soft, comfortable and very luxurious for the price. I ordered 8 tall and the waistband is wide and contoured for a great fi,t even beltless. The rise is a little high, which is a plus for me. It's hard to find mid to higher rise ... don't look so 'matronly'. Never knew ON offered tall sizes (online only)! I have experienced some size discrepancies ordering here but these are great- my new favorites!
The best ... old navy offers! I never write reviews on here but these ... great! I fell in love with my 1st pair of these a few years ago. Am delighted to see my size (18 tall) back in stock. The material is flattering, the cut and fit are flattering and the legnth is perfect for us tall girls who wear heels. Expensive looking ... - just bought my size in all 3 colors even though I already have the oatmeal - I love them THAT much!
Just rightI ordered four pairs of pants for work, two of which were ... Essential Wide Leg Trousers. I ordered a 2 in each pair. I liked every pair, but I loved the wide leg trousers. They fit perfect and were true to size. They were just what I wanted.
Perfect fit for curvy and tall!These pants fit PERFECT, I have several pairs already for work, and cannot find any other brand or fit that fits as well for my build- I am 6 ft tall and curvy. These are not too tight but not too loose, just the right amount of stretch to fit in a very slimming but appropriate way for work. And they don't wrinkle or lose their shape! I want to a reiterate a previous request- PLEASE Old Navy start carrying more of these in varied colors or work appropriate patterns. Would love to buy navy, chocolate brown and a pinstripe. Please also stock more tall sizes- you are always sold out of these in my 16 Tall size and basically have to stalk them online to try to buy more!
Perfect!I am 6 feet tall, 158 lbs, I usually need 36" inseam, and I always have a hard time finding pants that would fit me just right, and I am always scared to order pants online. I risked it this time and ordered these pants and they are perfect! My thighs are kinda bigger... and many pairs of pants are usually very tight on my thighs. And I do have a waist, and many pairs of pants stick out so much in the back above my bottom. But these pants are really perfect. Nothing of the above happens with these pants. I ordered size 10 tall and went ahead and bought the other two colors, too! :)
Great ... Loved the fit of these Tall essential ... buy more in other colors....fantastic in all ways and not outragously expensive like so many tall clothes are these days.
It looks like Old Navy has read some of the prior reviews and corrected the lack of length options, but unfortunately I ordered them 2 weeks too soon. There was only one length available when I purchased. I had my tailor lengthen them as much as possible, but I can still only wear them with a 1 inch heal. I'm 5 foot 9 inches tall, taller than average but not out of the ordinary, so I'm pretty disappointed. The "Tall" length is usually too long for me and the "Long" length is perfect, but I would have preferred to order the Tall and have them shortened. Other than that, I like the pants.
terriblethese pants were terrible. I ordered them in regular and tall length since the description does not give the lengths, and the regular was about four inches too short, and the tall was about three inches too long. (i am 5'8' with a 34-35 inseam) the pants were way too high on waist and tight (i typically can always get a two from here and banana republic with no issues). they are going back.

Women''s PERFECT KhakisI order pants ONLINE from time to time because I know that ONLINE I can get the LONG length I need from companies like Old Navy and The Gap (related companies) so again I took the chance knowing that I'm a solid size 6 and I ordered 2 pair (different colors) of the Women's Perfect Khakis and they fit beautifully. They were completely 'true to fit' and are slimming and plenty long to either fold once for flip flops/flats or wear regularly with sneakers or heels. I love them and am VERY happy with my purchase!
Love the long length of these pants!I am 6 feet tall and typically wear a 34" inseam with my pants. I initially ordered the "long" length which are said to be 34" in length, however, they seemed too short with any type of shoe. I ordered the tall 36" inseam instead and am very happy with them! The length is great and remained the same even after washing them. I do not put my pants in the dryer, howerver. The rise is great, too. Sometimes whenI purchase tall pants they end up with a super high waist to them but not these. Highly recommend for any tall chics with tall legs! Great casual pants for work or otherwise.
Great pants, just that I am shaped differentlyI really loved the quality and warmth of these khakis right away. I could tell that they would last a long time. I even ordered both petite and regular to check out the inseam/fit differences. My personal issue (nothing to do with these great pants) is that I have very narrow hips and thin thighs, built more like a teen aged boy. So its very hard to find any women's pant that does not balloon out at the sides and rear for me. I had to return both pairs. (Very easy return at the outlet store near home) The solution? I found a men's pair that did the trick...now I am quite content. Hurray for Old Navy outlet for fashion answers!
Watch sizingI have three pair of these pants and like them very much; however, I received a fourth pair marked wrong in the length on two different occasions. The order said tall, the label said tall but the barnswallow were only reg. length. Customer service was great and no shipping was charged either time, but the extra time in returning them was a bother. They are no longer available in tall length.
Nice slacksI'm 5'9" 125 lbs and was afraid that these slacks in six long would not be long enough, but they fit great. I don't particularly like women's slacks or shorts when they put those front pockets in because it makes them bulge on the side of your hips. Just what every woman wants! But these are more on the front than the side so lay better than others. Because of these pockets though, I would caution against buying too small a size as this usually accentuates the problem. I really don't understand why they keep making women's pants this way...everybody I know HATES them. LOL
Sits very low on waistI wear a size 12 long in all of my pants and jeans and I believe that these are true to size. I like the fit of these except that they sit VERY low on the hip. Maybe it's because I'm tall, but not quite tall enough to order the tall size. I'm was debating whether or not to return them, but just saw the perfect khaki in The Flirt and Sweetheart styles and am going to try those instead. My favorite jeans are The Flirt, so I have high hopes!
Beware of Shrinking!Buyer beware...! These khakis are wonderful, however, they shrink nearly a full size when washed and dried (per the washing instructions). I am 6'0 and usually wear a size 12. I bought a 12 Tall and the fit was PERFECT until I washed it. The pants shrank so much I couldn't button them!! I re ordered in a 14 Tall and after washing and drying, they fit like the 12 Tall did before I washed it. The pants are very flattering and a great find, but beware of washing!
A bit tight in waistI tried these and found they were a bit tight in the waist and rear compared to my normal Old Navy size. I was shopping for some everyday pants to wear to work, and I found that I like the Women's Cotton Twill Wide Leg Trousers much better.
Weird fitThese pants were too tight. I bought the same size of the Women's Ultra Flared Perfect Khakis and they fit perfectly but these regular ones were too tight in the waist. I returned them.
these pants are way too big to be a zero!I was thrilled to find out that old navy had women's tall sizes available online. I am very hard to fit! I purchased these in a zero tall, and the butt and hips are really big for a zero!
Awful SizingI'm not sure what is going on lately with Gap & Old Navy but I ordered my normal size (size 10) and unfortunately, I couldn't even get them up past my thighs! I was SO disappointed. Returning them today! I am not heavy, I am fit, healthy and smaller then the "average" American woman so I'm not sure where this sizing is coming from but if you order these you may have to order 2-3 sizes bigger then your normal size. I had issues with these and 1 other pair of pants ... Tab Waist Denim Capris (15")) that I actually ordered in a size LARGER (12) since they were jean and I wanted them a little roomier to wear in the warmer weather I was traveling to. Even in the size LARGER, I couldn't even get them zipped! Now, I know you might be thinking "maybe this lady is lying to herself about her actual size" (lol - you know you were thinking it!)...but ALL of my other brands are size 10 and fit perfectly, even Gap and Old Navy brands from years past are a 10...but this year it seems (to me) that something has changed. It looks like Gap and ON will not be on my personal shopping list anymore between the pant fit and the awful fabric they are using now for the tshirts :( So sad! I tried to leave no stars but the site made me put at least one...in reality they get no stars in my book.

Great ... size I love that ON now has Talls. I bought a 12Tall, and they fit me perfectly (at 6'2"). I couldn't really wear heels with these ... but really, how often do I do that? ;) The ... stay wrinkle free a little better than the "perfect khakis" I bought a while ago.

Best ... have purchased I am 5'10, 170lbs and my whole life I have had to buy Tall ... which is such a challenge, especially buying work slacks. These ... PERFECT. I am curvy and usually have a problem with the waist being too big in my sizes. I ordered a 14 tall which I usually always order and they fit like a gem, even after I washed. They are a bit long when wearing them with flats but with a cute pump or wedge they fit perfect! They are so lightweight I can wear them through the winter and summer here on the coast of SC! I just ordered every color!
glorious work ... I initially ordered a 4 ... which is what I normally wear but it seems as though Old Navy/GAP/BR all are increasing the measurements to make the pant sizes smaller. Sure I like the idea of wearing a 2 ... but not when it’s deceiving in measurements. At the rate the sizes are changing, ill have grown “too small” to wear the brands anymore. Past the size rant the fabric has a beautiful sheen to it and is the perfect length.
Decent ... but too baggy for me. I'm an 18 tall across the board when it comes to Old Navy ... These were very baggy in the thighs and rear and the ... size completely covered my feet. I reordered this same pant in an 18 regular hoping it would work better in the length, but it was too short and the overall baggyness already wasn't winning me over. They are made from a thinner material which is nice, but with the extra fabric in the areas it was too big, it wasn't a good look. Fun to laugh at while trying on, but not good for the workplace. Good try though.
Different LengthsOriginally I ordered an size bigger based on reviews saying they run small, I ordered two pairs, the khaki and black, both in talls. They were way too big, about two sizes too big. I returned and ordered again, this time the black ... were about an inch shorter than the khaki. It's a hit or miss with these ...
Could be betterI have purchased Gap ... years, and expected with this being the same company that their ... would be pretty similar. However it seems that not only is the length shorter than the ... Gap, but the fit around the hips and gut area is much higher than I felt is needed, and much baggier, giving me the indication that Old Navy expects ... wear long jeans to have a larger gut. I tried on the regulars- as I was sent regular's originally. Not Old Navy's fault. The hip and waist area sit lower and more accurately, however in the talls it seems much higher and more of a waste of fabric than should be. I honestly don't plan on ever buying another pair of ... old navy, as the cost of these ... full price are only a few dollars cheaper than I can buy when Gap has their sales. I'd much rather stick with the product that is made better.
Too big and too high waistedThese ... look great online which is deceiving. They are extremely high waisted and in a ... were significantly longer than the inseam stated. I bought the black and the grey...although the colors were great the sizing discrepancy between the two ... although ordered in the exact same size was surprising. The black was very loose in the hips and rear, big at the waist and REALLY long. The grey were tight through the hips and rear, a decent length but even bigger in the waist than the black pair. Some size consistency would be nice. Additionally, it would be nice to have longs and talls in store so that we can try them on prior to purchasing.
disapointedI went to take them back to the Old Navy at the Southridge mall in Wi and the ... talked to said she didnt know how to return them and she couldnt help me. Also there were no tall ... store, which if you did have them in your store it would be a big seller because it is hard for ... find tall ... thanks christine [@]
