Best Tank Top Ever!!!So I bought one of these tank tops and instantly fell in love with it. I always wear tank tops under my clothes but find that they are too short, they ride up, or they stretch out. I will never buy another type of tank top ever again. I got online and ordered one in every color and two in white. I wear them almost everyday under all my shirts and they are so comfy I wear them to bed. Seriously the best tank top ever!!!! I bought the tall since I like the tank tops long. They are stretchy but don't stretch out. You will not regret buying it.
Perfect for layering and large chested womenI wear a size 38HH bra and teach high school freshman. It is VERY difficult to find layering ... tops that cover up "the twins," while not taking away/looking strange with my shirts and dresses. I got this ... tall size/white and it is perfect! It doesn't stretch immensely like some of ON's other ... nor does it ride up. It is a thin material but perfect for wearing underneath a lower cut shirt. The ... hit my mid chest, right above my cleavage. I will definitely buy this comfy, versatile ... other colors!
The TAMI is very comfortableI actually had trouble finding this tank top on the Old Navy web site. They call this tank the "TAMI" in the Old Navy stores. I actually tried this ... store and loved it. It is very comfortable. I liked it better than Old Navy's traditional ribbed ... got a size medium (5'7', 144 lbs., average bust) and it fits great. You can wear these alone, layer them, or wear them under something that requires a ... haven't worn it yet, so I can't tell you how it does in the wash. I hope Old Navy continues to offer these, I just wish they offered more colors online.
Best ... nursing ... I''ve ever owned I am extremely picky about ... tops. I have broad shoulders and a small bust, so most don't look good on me. This ... perfect. The fabric is also very comfortable. I bought this along with some maternity clothes. I ended up returning the nursing tops I got, and ordering more of these instead. The straps stretch (and go back to original size) so easily that I decided to nurse in them instead of using nursing tops.
My absolute favorite ... EVER I LOVE this ... can't sing its praises enough! I wish I had more. It fits perfectly and is the perfect length. It keeps its shape (unlike so many ON tops nowadays...) and stays put under clothes. I have about a half dozen and wear one pretty much every day, either as an undershirt for work or on its own on the weekends. I REALLY wish ON would make short sleeved and 3/4 sleeve tops JUST like this ...
Great tanktopI agree with some of the reviewers that said that these ... tops run large. I went a size down (XS) and it fit much better. Just a warning, though, the lighter colored tops are very thin, so they may be better suited to either doubling up with another ... worn as an underlayer.
nice basic ... I personally cannot have enough ... tops. I do alot of layering in order to get the most out of my wardrobe and this ... great. I chose the green and love the color and has a nice amount of stretch. I love a long and lean look and this ... fits the bill for me.
wonderful buyI bought 2 of these ... tops on sale, one in black and one in a bright blue. I am now wearing them under a short ... stops at the waist and then flares out. I bought the "tall" size so that the ... reach my hips while the shorter ... layer hits just below the waist. The effect is very attractive and I've gotten lots of compliments. I wear the tops with Jazz pants and wear this outfitto my jazzercise class. I will also be wearing the ... tops solo in the warm weather months. These tops are versatile and can be worn all year long.They are a great buy.
Best Layering TankThis is the best tank I have found for layering under dressy, shear shirts because the fabric is not ribbed; making it appear more dressy under clothes than a regular ribbed tank. Also, the tank is not low cut and the straps are wider to cover bra straps, so it is perfect when worn under see through shirts. There are only two problems with this tank. 1 - it cuts in a little right in front of the arm pit area and part of the bra to shows underneath, but not too noticable, and 2 - it is a little big in the chest/strap area in proportion to the rest of the tank, but not enough to not wear the tank. The tank is very soft and strechy. I usually get XL Talls in ... but this tank is too long in the tall size so I switched back to XL Regular.
Almost perfectI bought this ... both the black and grey colors and, for the most part, I really like them. The material is nice - really soft. It's a bit long, but I knew that would happen because I'm only 5'1, but need an XL. Plus, I like longer ... tops, so I'm not bothered by this at all. I really believe the ... very versatile. The only problem I have is that, because I have a larger chest, and because of the way the ... cut, my bra shows on either side underneath my arms. It's a bit annoying, however, this is easily fixed with a cardigan. I imagine those with a smaller frame won't have this problem. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase and would get more, should ON continue to make them.
Bottom half great, top half a little off...First off, I have to admit that I made a mistake. My ridiculous, failing brain somehow mixed up "Women's Stretch ... "Women's JERSEY Stretch ... thought I was ordering the former, but ended up with the latter. And they are very different. The ones without "jersey" in the title were desirable because their straps were perfect--not too long, and they had a trick of being in just the right place to cover bra straps. The new JERSEY Stretch Tank has flimsy thin straps that are too long. In fact, the whole tank is almost too long, and I never thought I'd say that, since ON's Tall tops have never really been tall enough for me (and I'm only 5'8"). The body and length of this tank top is very nice, though; I'm keeping one of the ones I ordered to wear under all the ON tops I own that are too short, and it should do that job well. The colors are nice, the material is soft and stretchy, though also thin (a plus for me, I live where it's always summer) and of usual sub par construction (but that's what I get for buying [$] clothes). And these run BIG. I wear the biggest size in ON's plus sizes, and don't have any little pansy of a bust, either, and regular women's XXL Tall is plenty big on me. Nice for me...I just wish the top half of the tank was better designed.
